I love Starbucks but this location is very slow it took them almost 40 minutes to give me a caramel macchiato

I come to this Starbucks all the time and I usually love it, great staff. My only problem is I've gone two days in a row and both times they told me they where out of the nitro cold brew. That drink isn't available everywhere and the fact that they have it available there is great, but is it actually available if they never have it made?...very disappointed. read more

Cold outside, table up against the fireplace, which is not on. It is chilly in here. Management does nothing about a small crowd of loud teens loitering here without purchasing anything, just taking up space. Workers running vacuums loudly, which should wait until shop is empty or after hours. I will not be coming back. read more

I was having a stressful morning and thought I'd stop at Starbucks in Homewood to redeem my free "birthday" drink and de-stress, not realizing the offer had just expired. Staff was so friendly and thoughtful they honored my expired offer without hesitation and turned my day around. It's nice to find a place where customers are appreciated and service is excellent. read more

This is easily my favorite of all the Starbucks stores in my area. The staff are very friendly. The drive thru has speedy service. It's nice and cozy if you want to sit inside and enjoy your drink(s). The bathrooms are always spotlessly clean. This location usually doesn't have loud music playing, and thus is a nice calm space, so it's a great place to go if you want to study, relax, use the wifi or all three. You never feel like you have to "finish your drink(s) and leave", like some other coffee places. I really love visiting this location. It's a perfect spot to grab your favorite beverage and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. The only downside is that it's not open 24/7! read more

Most of my experiences at this Starbucks have been about 3/5 with my biggest complaints being the wait time and the app never being up to date but that very well may be a corporation/system issue so I don't fault them for that. Today however was a much different experience. I pre-ordered a frozen frapp today and a bagel with cream cheese. When I picked it up my frapp was basically liquid not frozen, and I picked up prior to the ready time via the app. So the issue was not that it was sitting around too long. Additionally my bagel was barely warmed and had no cream cheese. When I went in to ask them for cream cheese, they simply said we are out. That's it! My response was, okay, well do you at least have butter? They offered me avocado spread for my everything bagel, (gross). When they finally offered me butter it was rock hard. How they expected me to put rock hard butter on my barely warm bagel as I'm on the go is beyond me. What should've happened was they should've either removed the cream cheese option from the app or when I picked it up, instead of waiting for me to get back to my car to realize I had no cream cheese, tell me when I picked it up, I'm sorry we don't have any cream cheese, would you like to substitute your bagel with some thing else and or would you like a refund? This place is way too expensive to just hand someone some barely warm bread with nothing to put on it and expect them to be like, sure I'll just eat two pieces of plain bread for $4! Unacceptable. This store could use a customer service inservice. I'm very disappointed. read more

Asked the barista if they had any dairy free breakfast sandwiches. She said chicken sausage bacon sandwich. I ordered it and it came with gravy which has butter in it. If you don't know ask or tell me so I can read the ingredients. So annoying allergies are real and s big deal for some. read more

The service is great, and so is their raspberry swirl pound cake slices! I usually order a chai or green tea latte, sometimes the pumpkin if its in season. They recently switched back from the mini lemon pound cake loaves to the slices with the icing which I am happy about. I do love the atmosphere-on a nice day you can lounge around outside where they have comfy chairs, and work or chat it up inside. Very vibrant with energy. A nice spot to stop along a walk of Homewood village. Also, the location is perfect for train commuters-there's a Metra station across the street. read more

I stop by this Starbucks on my way to work, and it gets me my coffee fix without any hassles or fuss. The staff are always nice, although sometimes they can be a little busy handling the drive-thru customers over the ones in the store. They just remodeled, and the inside looks fantastic. New cushion benches along the wall are great. read more

I have to echo Jen R. sentiments - my experiences at this particular Starbucks have consistently been some of the best. For me, it is all about the drive through service, as I've never been inside. The drive-thru employees, no matter who they have been, have always been very inviting and friendly. I wouldn't know any different if they any less than loved their jobs. Same Starbucks coffee quality, but consistently freezing cold inside!!! It always seems strange reviewing a large chain, but I felt it necessary for this Starbucks location due to it consistently being freezing cold! The espresso and coffee drinks I've had are the same mediocre quality as any other location, but I the environment is what will make you want to go elsewhere. Just for fun, I went in again yesterday with a digital thermometer. It was 68 degrees. I was the only one in the shop and mentioned how cold it was to one of the baristas. I then camped out for a few hours and worked. When I left at 3:45pm the thermometer read 62 degrees!!! I had to turn the heat on in the car just to thaw out! Unfortunately the next closest coffee shop is Starbucks on 183rd/Governors in Homewood, whose drink quality is the same and isn't as clean, but at least you won't turn into Mr. Freeze by hanging out for more than 5 mins. read more

Baristas are always very friendly and never screw up my drink, like many other starbucks cafes do a little too often!

It's a team environment run by an enthusiastic manager and great employees. Kind and fast service! I study here almost every day and I want to keep coming back. read more

The atmosphere here is awesome and the coffee is amazing! I frequent this Starbucks at least a few times per week. The only complaint I ever have is that their drive thru line is incredibly slow compared to the other Starbucks I have visited! My solution is just to go inside :) read more

this is my favorite place in homewood. i'm always here with my friends literally everyday and the employees don't treat us any differently than the rest of their customers. great drinks, great food, great people, what more could you ask for? most child friendly place in homewood :) read more
