I come here frequently, but had such a bad interaction with the baristas. I politely asked if they had a bathroom key for the hotel, as I have been given the key in the past. They said "No we don't have a key." Annoying, but whatever, I smiled and let it go. Until the other two baristas literally said "hehe.. we are supposed to walk them to the bathroom, but we never feel like it." We are staying at the Waikiki Marriott and so happy that right downstairs there is a Starbucks! After checking in and before heading up to our room we decided to stop in and get a drink. Also took the opportunity to purchase a cute cup $22 to enjoy once I get back home. While my Vente Iced Black tea with two Stevia was being made, I took pictures for this review. Straws are located at the back counter and there are two different sizes. Straws in Hawaii are paper. Service was quick and friendly. I was able to use the app to earn stars. This Starbucks is located in the lobby opposite the front desk area in the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort and Spa hotel (our favorite staycation spot so far, shhhhhhh). The Starbucks wasn't open for a while last year when we went :( and I was happy to see it open again on our recent stay at the hotel. The worker there was super friendly and greeted me as I got close to the counter. I was debating on which drink to get... I wanted to try out those fruity refresher drinks instead of my usual Caramel Frappucino varieties. I asked about the 'Honey Citrus Mint' tea. The worker said it was her favorite tea. She asked if I wanted it hot or cold, then I asked if it was a tea bag that needed to be brewed. She said it was and then I decided to switch to another item. I'm so irking sometimes. I asked her which she recommended between the 'Kiwi Starfruit' or the 'Strawberry Acai'. She said the later. And asked if I wanted it with lemonade, YAAAAAAS :D Then I asked if she could blend it as well. I always end up drinking drinks so fast and I'm left with ice cubes and bits of fruit. She said yes. I also asked for a cup of water and to redeem my points for a brownie. She helped prepare my items and handed them too me :) I was very happy with my purchase. Was craving some coffee closest to my hotel and found this location right by the beach too. The staff was friendly and the store was clean. It wasn't crowded at all. I ordered a hot Crème Brûlée Latte with oat milk and it was delicious! A new fave of mine now! I also purchased a cheese sandwich! I've heard that it was delicious so I decided to try it myself. OMG it was comforting and delicious!!! Did not disappoint. read more

Well, I moaned and groaned about the coffee here and compared one place to a Starbucks. Not my fave, but reliable as far as flavor profile is concerned. especially in foreign countries - London, Merida, Las Vegas, New York, etc. I thought it would be much busier considering that it's located inside of a hotel, but no, it wasn't. And this was good. The guy who worked there was absolutely fabulous when he took my order and made me feel welcome on both days of my visit. The drink came and it was exactly what it was supposed to be. My only gripe is that I'm a Californian and I love whipped cream on my latte drink, not foam. Foam is gross to me. So, it was fine. I got my coffee fix and all was good. read more

This is located right in the lobby of Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort and Spa which is so convenient if you are staying here. I stopped by on a Saturday morning around 9 for drinks and breakfast before heading out. The line wasn't long at all. The lady at the cash register was really nice we had a misunderstanding which was so funny but we both laughed about it. I ordered a Dragonfruit Lemonade, Kiwi Starfruit with Apple Juice , Brown sugar Oatmeal, Bacon Gouda, Banana Nut and Egg White Bites. Everything was perfect and it was ready quickly. They open really early so I'll definitely be back before leaving. read more

Came in hoping to use the restroom and order couple of drinks. Ordered earl grey for me and blond roast for my hubby. It took over 10 minutes to get our drinks even though there was only one other person after us. This isn't the typical busy Starbucks. Then when I asked where their restrooms were, I was told that they don't have it. First time ever I've been to a Starbucks that's not busy yet it takes long to get a cup of tea/coffee and doesn't have a restroom for the patrons. The girls behind the counter were very robotic without a smile which is so odd in this chill Island environment. read more

This is one of many small locations along this Waikiki area. I encountered great service and drinks made correctly. It gets busy in here and like many have stated, there's no power outlets to recharge phones or computers. It was clean and well stocked on my visit. If you need a restroom you'll have to go inside the hotel/mall. read more

Nice store, very friendly staff. It's not super crowded in the morning so its a nice place for me to relax with coffee and watch youtube. I dont need power so no big deal about outlets like others were complaining about. One issue I have is despite the front outside area being non-smoking lots of people smoke. Nobody comes out to stop them. I politely asked a couple to stop and the bf threatened me for some silly reason so now I just leave when the smoking starts. i'm not one to leave reviews often, but my experience here left me frazzled. i asked for almond milk in my drink, but when i received my cup i did not see it listed on the sticker with the rest of my adjustments (light ice, less pumps, etc). i went back to the counter to ask if it was made with almond milk, and was given a rude, abrupt "no" from the barista. the place was a bit busier than normal, but not bustling. i understand the pressures of the job, but customer service is lacking here. a simple "no, was it supposed to be?" or something of the sort would have sufficed. seems like there was a miscommunication between me and the lady taking orders when i said "light ice and almond milk please". that's okay, it happens. but i don't appreciate the way it was handled afterwards. also, my brother and sister both ordered frappes but only one of them had whipped cream on them, which is confusing, considering it comes included. my brother asked for extra caramel with his frappe and was given less caramel than the drink typically comes with. these drinks are already overpriced, so when it's not made correctly and you have to wait 10 more minutes for a correct drink, it's not ideal. maybe if baristas were paid more and not overworked, these things wouldn't happen. i'm giving 3 stars instead of 2 because perhaps these ladies were having a bad day, which i understand. hoping i don't get the hershey squirts today read more

My boyfriend ordered Hazelnut Latte and they gave him the wrong coffee. Once he got the right coffee, it tasted like old coffee and my palate could not taste hazelnut flavor. He also ordered turkey bacon on muffins and they gave us turkey bacon on focaccia bread. The employees were talking stories and one employee took her work break and was sitting by the front eating potato chips and drinking coffee where the customers were sitting. I would give zero star on this location but unfortunately, the lowest score is star. Owner should do something about this place. read more
