I hate writing a bad review but I was so disappointed with this place. Came here to grab coffee and green tea latte. So when I'm about to pay, the screen pad is asking for a tip first. So they literally ASKING FOR A TIP! Before you get to know your total bill. Good thing, I have cash with me. I told the register, I'm just gonna give you cash! I was pushing my baby on a stroller, so I have to asked for a coffee holder and they didn't have it! They should have offered the carry on bag at least. There's not a shortage of Starbucks around here in Waikiki, but I picked this location because it opened early and allowed mobile ordering. I didn't mind walking 15 minutes from my hotel for it. Plus, it was a nice shore walk. When I got there, there was a flower drawn on my cup, waiting for me. It was a hot hazelnut latte and I was redeeming a birthday freebie. We were waiting to have dinner at Monkeypod Kitchen, so were decided to look around the Outrigger Reef and stumbled upon Starbucks at the entrance. This Starbucks is pretty big and they have comfy couches. It was so hot outside that we took refuge in their nicely air conditioned shop. We walked in and the barista greeted us. Auntie Nadine was looking at a tumbler. She thought that it was the glow in the dark one. She asked the barista but that wasn't the one. We didn't end up getting anything, but had a nice time in there looking at all their cups. Yes, I collect Starbucks cups. Don't get me started, lol. *I returned two days later to get some kale and mushroom egg bites. They heated it nice and warm. I also asked for a cup of ice water, since I already had a drink with me. They were nice about it and the service was fast. read more

Years ago, the Starbucks in the Outrigger Reef was my go-to as it was easy to walk here and take your drinks right to the beach. During the pandemic, this location was shuttered and eventually gutted so I figured it would become something new. As things are now reopening I was happy to see a remodeled and expanded store has reopened in the same location so I finally gave it a try. This is much improved. The outdoor seating area is also expanded and more easily accessible from inside the store rather than the street as before (probably to make it more for customers). The inside is bright and modern, more spacious with lots of tables for dine-in, work, or relaxation. The counter area is also much more planned with clear ways in to line up on busy days, plus a large mobile counter. They have a full array of their foods and drinks. Prices here are in line with the other Waikiki Starbucks stores, maybe a little higher than elsewhere but still a great deal for the quality. The staff was also friendly. This will become a regular visit for me, happy to have a convenient location back! read more

I stopped at this Starbucks incidentally, on a whim. I was picking a coworker up to ride to work, and I had a bit of a throat tickle, so I decided to get a Medicine Ball (because there was a convenient Starbucks right there). It was a little bit busy (no surprise there, really), but I still got my order relatively quickly (I did order at the counter because I didn't know how to order the Medicine Ball via the app (I know now!)). The vibes inside were nice, too! It was actually really cozy, although the layout was a bit odd (I think because of how the cafe is situated), and it's quite noisy - now this could have been because it was first thing in the morning when I came in (no drive thru). So something you might want to consider if you're wanting to come here to work or anything like that. I don't remember if I got any food, so I can't comment on that part, but my tea was pretty good! read more

I love how this Starbucks is conveniently located at the lobby of the Outrigger Reef Hotel where I am staying at. I can just head downstairs and get my coffee/tea/mocha frappe fix. They also have baked goods like croissants and muffins and breakfast sandwiches. The baristas were all very nice and the store has a very hawaiian vibe to it. Definitely got my souvenirs here to bring back to California. read more

For the most part, I have to say. This is a pretty amazing shop period the inside décor is gorgeous and has a definite tropical vibe. This is one of the most luxurious Starbucks. I've been in possibly because it's located in the stunning Outrigger Reef Waikiki beach hotel. This is my second time coming here and I have to say; the first time was much better. The staff was by far more on point, and seemed to have a better attitude. They also got my order right on the 1st day. Which was not the case today. Today I ordered a ham and cheese croissant and a lemon loaf cake as well as a venti latte with coconut milk. I received a grande drink, which in the grand scheme of things isn't horrible, just mildly disappointing. The really disappointing part was the staff response to me asking about it. I was told, "You wasn't charged for it." Okay, no problem. I'm on an Island and shouldn't be picky about proper grammar, since I'm not an editor, but the lack of initiative to make my order correct and complacency in accepting that there was nothing to be done was irritating. Anyway, it's still a nice location, but I won't be visiting here again. Theres a very cool coffee and snack shop right across the street called Beachwalk Cafe and they will get my business from now on. read more

Such a friendly place. Service was quick with a friendly faces. I have traveled the globe and this is one of the best Starbucks I have been in. You enjoy your Starbucks like I do if you are in Hawaii you should stop here and enjoy the taste we have all grown to enjoy. read more

I go to Starbucks every morning and had never been to this location before. I was pleasantly surprised at the seating space and ambiance, but most importantly the speed of service and the friendly staff. This is definitely my new go to Starbucks when I'm on this side of Waikiki! read more

IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD!! absolutely awful service!! we were never greeted just called up to the register rudely when we walked in. we weren't 100% sure what we wanted but were feeling pressured to order. i asked if they had the egg and cheese lunch box since it wasn't in the cold case up front and sometimes they have extra in the back. i got a rude response "are there any there" i replied no and she said rudely again "then were out" when we got to ordering drinks one in my party gets a hot coffee i got a cold brew and another asked for a green tea. since we didn't specify in the beginning she asked if we wanted the tea hot or iced. the person in my party ordering the tea asked for it hot as she NEVER gets iced drinks. once we get our drinks the tea was iced i step back up to the counter and talk to the barista who made the drink and apologized "i'm so sorry we actually asked for this tea hot as the register" the lady taking our order walks over to chime in and says in an extremely rude tone (AGAIN) "excuse me but i asked if you want it iced or hot and you said iced". she gets the tea made hot and all was fine. but this girl seriously needs to be fired. if i got her name i would drop it here. but she didn't have a name tag on (probably for her own safety of her job since im sure this isn't the only four review about this anonymous chick on here). this girl seems miserable and like she hates her job. the way she carries herself and the way she talks to customer is awful and doesn't foster the environment that Starbucks foster's and definitely doesn't embody courage, joy, belonging, craft, or results!!! this partner does not create the third place environment that starbucks strives for. we were going to hang around for a bit in the cafe but the toxic environment this girl created for my family and i in the store pushed us to leave. do better and get rid of this girl!!!! read more
