OMG Unicorn drink is sold out here. I mean this is one of the busier Starbucks. Its in a very central location. Connected to Marriott hotel. Only issue is this Starbucks has a separate door/entrance but they closes early. BUT, they are the only Starbucks open on weekend and I am guessing is because they have a separate entrance. Seating is limited but again most people do takeout anyways. Drinks are standard. Nothing special

I come here often and I love it. It's very small so not much room to sit and socialize but if you are looking to grab something on the go this is the location to go. It's in the heart of downtown, not far from the metro Rail it numerous bus stops. In the morning they have a plea thorn of sandwiches and pastries but they sometimes sell fast! This is the perfect location to order through the app! Long lines congest this little store! The staff is always pretty great!

Same Starbucks you'd find just about anywhere, except it's not just anywhere. It's the only Starbucks open on the weekends in downtown Houston :-) It is very true that this location suffers sadly from it's surroundings, however, the build up of Marriott hotels next door. Soon to open, a Marriott Springhill Suites will eliminate part of the challenge out front... Get past the location, pop in, and meet the friendly helpful baristas. I haven't had a drink made wrong, or a sandwich or cookie that I didn't like from here. The place is clean, comfortable (for a smaller Starbucks), and a nice break from a weekend work day. Be aware that they close earlier on Sunday :0

Out of all the Starbucks on my vicinity, I am the most frequent here. And the biggest reason behind it is customer service! I absolutely love how they all make an effort to know your name. They say hello, makes conversation, talks about recent events. It's nice to take a break between work to get some refresher and get refreshed by the conversation as well. I'd really like to give a shout out to Katie, Erick and Emma! They are the best! Tips: this Starbucks closes at 6:30 and oven closes at 6. So if you want sandwiches or something that needs warming up- try to make it before 6.

I was looking for a Starbucks to sit down and do some work and found this location near my hotel. I ordered the caramel macchiato medium and when I got my coffee now realizing the medium was not enough. Terrance the barista that made my drink realized I was not happy with the size of my coffee offered to make another one at no charge. I was more than willing to pay for the upgrade, but Terrance insisted he would make one for me at no extra cost to ensure my satisfaction. This is what excellent service feels like because they went beyond what they had to do without even being asked.

Every morning I am asked, If I'd like something from here. I always wonder why go buy coffee when we have FREE coffee here? It's the conversation and nice stroll there. (I finally joined) It's also the delicious flavored coffees and chocolate drinks. I like the breakfast sandwich, it's just enough to get me started at work and not be so full I can't be productive. The staff is so friendly, happy, and super fast. No coffee, no workee. I have no excuses now. Peace out.

THIS IS THE BEST CORTADO I'VE EVER HAD…read more Day 6 has been on my list for quite some. Upon arrival, I was met with excellent music and a warm greeting. Once I reached the counter, the gentleman helped me with selecting a coffee and even answered a few clarifying questions I had about ingredients. I got 2 cortados (I drank the first one so fast that I needed another one), a vanilla latte (sweet but balanced), and two croissants (almond and chocolate). My friends got a cheesecake latte (cupcake dominant and didn't have enough cookie butter flavoring), a white mocha hot chocolate (pretty good), and a blueberry muffin (amazingly soft, flavorful, and balanced). All together, I'll be coming back much more often!!!

I also tried one of their muffins, and it was absolutely delicious. Another 5/5! The only thing that disappointed me was the coffee. I asked the barista for a recommendation and specifically mentioned that I wanted a coffee that wasn't too sweet. She recommended a drink, and I trusted her suggestion. Unfortunately, when I tried it, it was much sweeter than I was expecting. I understand recommendations are subjective, so I don't blame anyone,it just wasn't what I was looking for. Because of that, I'd give the coffee 1/5. It simply wasn't to my taste. Overall, the great service and delicious muffin were definite highlights, but the coffee experience brought my overall rating down to 3/5.

A couple of friends and I wandered in early on a Sunday for breakfast/brunch. I ordered the scrambled‑egg and turkey‑bacon tacos with a flat white, one friend had the chilaquiles (he thought they could've used a bit more flavor and some avocado), and my other friend went for the French toast with an iced coffee. We had a great conversation over a delicious meal and solid coffee, and the steady stream of adorable dogs around us was the perfect bonus. I'd read some reviews complaining about the service, but ours was totally fine--especially for an early Sunday morning. It probably helps to be patient if they're short‑staffed, but we had no issues at all.

The avocado toast was good, they used fresh avocado. The toast was very crispy because of the type of bread but I enjoyed it. They also have yummy fresh pressed juice. The only downside is parking can be difficult, but aside from the 3 Koffeteria parking spots, you can find random street parking & walk over. I love how they've decorated; seems like a lot of stuff is thrifted and a bit mismatched which is miles ahead of any sterile MCM coffee shop that the third wave is riding recently. Also, the pastries were what I was mainly hoping for, but didn't see much, just cake and some packaged cookies. I ended up only ordering the only hot food available on the menu, the beef pho kolache, which was actually really really tasty. The $8 price point is a little hard to swallow, but worth trying at least once! Milk bread is soft and the brisket goes really great with sriracha. The hoisin was a tad too salty for me; I think it would work best if it had, in theme, the aromatics from actual pho, otherwise it's too heavy. The yuzu lemonade was citrusy and refreshing, definitely hits the spot during the summer. There's a bit of space in the back, and there's a patio area (though I'm not sure if it's 100% Koffeteria's, but it was set up for World Cup watching. I'll have to keep an eye on when's the best time to swing by again for their bakery items.
