Had an amazing experience with Garrett today at the Ebar. I was having a hard time deciding on what to get and he immediately jumped in to help. Maybe he saw I wasn't feeling my best, so asked me about my day and even a recommended a hot tea to ease my stomach. Not only was the service great but they were fast and efficient. By the time we were done chatting everything was ready and waiting for me at the end. I will always recommended people come try the Ebar for their friendly service and delicious drinks. read more

I love everything at the Ebar. From the cakes to the lemonade. If you're ever in the mood. The bow tie pasta salad is sooo delicious. It's located on the first floor mall entrance. Seating area is in the mall in front of the coffee shop. You can also enjoy free Nordstrom's WiFi. My only complaint with the Ebar is that they do not have a microwave to heat up your bread items. Go here regularly and the staff used to be much friendlier. Looks like mostly a whole new staff, some are friendly here and there, but nothing like it used to be where they talk to you because you were a regular face. Lately you go in and they are so busy talking to each other you almost feel like you interrupted and bothered them. Some days they are sitting at the cash register and don't even get out of the chair to ring you up. One night I went down to get something at 6:30, the lights were pretty dim almost off, the lady, tall skinny older woman, said they're getting ready for close at 7, the whole food side was cleared out and she said that wasn't available due to prepping for close. I asked when they close she said 7, I said so there's no sandwiches or anything to which she said I can give you one and you can heat it up somewhere, which blew my mind because again, not the usual service I'm accustomed to here. I told her it defeats the purpose of getting anything here, she said yeah I guess it does. Hoping some new people come in or management notices the change so that it gets better. read more

Ordered a kids size hot chocolate and a pastry. I was surprise my hot chocolate was "kid's temperature", how cute is that! Appreciate the small things in life. They were fast and friendly. The coffee was pretty good. I got a lavender latte. I took off two stars because the guy that made my coffee had the dirtiest finger nails I have ever seen and he grabbed my coffee by the lid. When I took it I overheard the other employee say "don't wash this like this again it's nasty and it's a health code violation." So not only Are his hands dirty but he's back there not washing things correctly read more

Ordered 2 lattes for my wife & I, and they forgot the order. Just stood there waiting until I asked the lady who took order, "where the coffee?" Looked like I just woke her up. Terrible service, irresponsible, and they talk too much to each other that they forgot my order. Lack of training, and unprofessional. Will never return. read more

I went here as a last resort because I needed my coffee fix and was not wanting to waste my time waiting in the horrendous Starbucks lines! But i am SO glad I found this little cafe! The staff was very friendly, and the service was amazing. I ordered an iced vanilla coffee and even threw in a red velvet brownie(which was to die for), by the time i swiped my card, my drink was already waiting for me down at the end of the counter! Tried the ebar in Austin at the Domain location and loved their chicken ceasar salad. (Basic I know). It's been almost a year and decided to go buy one here at the Galleria location but was sad because they no longer made it. The guy mentioned they change the menu every now and then, it has been a year, and suggested I try their chicken ceasar wrap instead. Basically the salad in a wrap but without the croutons which just wasn't all that delicious. The pastries look so delicious and might stop by if I'm in the area, early morning. Friendly, energetic staff. The barista will eventually remember your order if you're a regular which the guy behind me was. I had a great experience at the ebar in Nordstrom. I had no idea that this little place even existed. Lucky for me I had a meeting here so now I have a good to spot to grab a chai latte in case I don't want to deal with Starbucks which is usually always. I had my mind sat on a latte but once I stepped into the ebar I noticed that they also make fresh smoothies as well. I decided to go the smoothie route since I had not had lunch and I am glad that I did. Definitely the best smoothie I've had this year. The employees taking the orders were very kind and friendly. They didn't seem overwhelmed at all by the line of people developing. They also have a nice area to sit down and enjoy your tea, coffee, or pastry. Mexican mocha is probably my most favorite coffee EVER! If you like Abueltia chocolate and like espresso then you'll LOVE this place! The ambiance is nice and a pleasant change from the avg starbucks and I feel like the service is also better, this could be because the Ebar is a part of Nordstroms which is highly known for customer service. Another yummy more on the sweet side type drink would be the limited edition red velvet chocolate mocha SOOO good, I have gotten it hot several times and it is absolutely delicious, I believe this drink is seasonal, around Valentines day most likely through March. Now on to the snacks, to be honest the food is overpriced, if you want to spend $6 for a croissant that isn't warmed up (they don't have a microwave) then be my guest and order the goat cheese and veggie croissant which I do really like just too pricey too get often. Always good coffee. My favorite little spot to grab a warm and comforting latte during a nice stroll in the Galleria. My favorite is the honey almond latte which isn't on the menu. The taste is fragrant, sweet, and full of flavor. Coffee is made right with a nice and smooth taste. No bitter notes. Their vanilla latte and mocha are nice as well. Ebar also has a nice variety of sweets as well to pair with your coffee. The chocolate chip cookies and a few of the other desserts are from SWEET. Their are many other snacks and bars to choose from as well. Overall, Ebar is a nice little spot to visit while in the area. When you think of a coffee shop next to norstrom! You expect the same or close customer service experience, unfortunately it's not the case. Not only I was told rudely I couldn't get my pastry toast but when I brought up nicely to their attention that I've asked for no foam, the same employee with a bigger attitude tries to contradict me, I will never go back nor I would recommend people to go there. read more

The coffee here has been a disappointment. I've tried a couple of their iced and hot coffees, but always end up disappointed. The iced teas and cold drinks here are worth a visit, however. There usually isn't too much of a line and the prices are decent. There are usually a good number of tables open by the escalators - definitely one of the less crowded places in the galleria. read more

I absolutely LOVE E-Bar at Nordstroms. I used to go to Starbucks in the Galleria, but I got tired of standing in a long line to place my order....then the waiting time for my drink took forever!
