    Even though I don't drink coffee I love coming to Starbucks for their tea the employees are very nice and professional that sometimes I definitely don't mind going inside the Starbucks just to greet the employees.

    My friend and I came here after the Hot Sauce Expo in Joliet. We were melting outdoors and needed a refreshing beverage. This location came in clutch. I placed a mobile order while parked outside and walked in maybe 2 minutes later, and the barista is already in the process of completing my order. I was lucky that it wasn't as busy on a Sunday afternoon, and the staff was really sweet and attentive. The barista who made our drinks was an Asian man with a headset on. He also recommended that I try their grande iced tea with green tea and a strawberry base -- I've never tried this before, and it's definitely going to be one of the refreshing drinks I'll be having more of moving forward. I'm usually an iced caramel macchiato or a Frappuccino kind of girl. I was so worried that I wouldn't love my refill, but I definitely downed it wanting more. Kudos to the barista for coming in clutch. It's also my first time taking advantage of the Starbucks refill perk -- we were hanging out inside and I had finished my iced caramel macchiato. I wish they included iced caramel macchiatos for a refill. Either way, it's a great experience here. There's plenty of free parking in the plaza, and they do offer drive thru but I didn't feel like waiting in that line. Thankfully their mobile orders was an option. I'd recommend this location to anyone in the area looking for Starbucks and great service.

    The gentleman Thomas that works there is very rude to me. This is my last three experiences with Thomas. 1. I walk in to get my mobile order and staff say hi to me. I have two out of the three items ready, and was politely told by the staff me tea was being made and will be ready soon. Thomas walks up and calls my name. I identify myself and he hands me my beverage. No hi, thank you , or anything, and walks away. 2. People are placing thier orders at the counter with Thomas. He is very nice to them, and thanks them. Then when it is my turn, he looks at me raises his eyebrow, I place my order, he points to the total, I pay him, and he says next to the person behind me. No thank you or anything thing. 3. I am sitting with my friend. She says hi to Thomas, and he walks over to us, and talks to her. Then he looks at me, and walks away, not saying a word. My friend even commented that he was very rude to me. This type of customer service is a complete failure on his part. After this post I will be call the corporate phone number, then the store directly to talk to the manager. No one should be treated this way.

    I am an Uber eats driver and got a delivery for this Starbucks. I picked it up, and it came in a bag like normal but was literally duct taped shut and had no receipt. How the hell am I supposed to deliver this to a paying customer? It looks tampered with. This is really sad and unacceptable.

    First I'd like to say that I typically don't go to Starbucks just because I'm cheap lol but I was taken back today when I went through the drive through and was greeted by a pleasant excited person on the other end. Not only did Bree seem to be happy to serve up the coffees I ordered, she went the extra mile to throw a sticky note on the coffee saying "have the best day ever -Bree." She then double checked that I got the straws and waved good bye as I was pulling away. I'm not sure what Bree gets paid, but she deserves a raise! Thanks Bree for the great service! You're awesome!

    Best Passion Tea Lemonade that I have ever had! Wish this location was closer to home! At least I know where to go when I'm in the area

He frequently brought up politics, demographics, and "statistics" at work in ways that felt inappropriate and often came across as biased. It wasn't the kind of environment I expected from a workplace. I personally chose not to engage with these conversations because I was there to work, and I try to keep my personal beliefs separate from my workplace. However, being repeatedly exposed to these types of comments from management made the environment feel unprofessional. I also noticed that he would tell us certain employees had quit, but after speaking with those employees, I learned that was not always what happened. This made me feel like there was a lack of honesty and transparency in how situations were handled. One comment that really stuck with me was when he told me and another young female employee that we'd be prettier if we spoke more intelligently and that men would like us more. We are both very young girls, and that comment was incredibly inappropriate and made us uncomfortable. I was also told that if I came in early every day, I would receive a $1 raise. I did exactly that, and I received the raise on my final paycheck. Just a few days later, I was fired. It was confusing to be recognized with a raise and then immediately let go without being given a meaningful explanation. I was told I was being fired because I supposedly had an attitude with a customer. When I asked what had happened, I wasn't given a clear explanation and was simply told they had decided not to continue my employment. I work hard, take my jobs seriously, and I rarely leave negative reviews because I know everyone is trying their best. I didn't contact them afterward because I felt I had already been treated disrespectfully. After the way I was spoken to and the lack of honest communication, I didn't feel another conversation would have changed anything. As a customer, I also found the food to be average, especially for the price. Before I even worked here, my mom and I had cheesecake from the café on a few different occasions, and every time it had a noticeable freezer-burn taste. For the prices they charge, I expected much better quality. Based on my experience as both an employee and a customer, I would encourage people to support another family-owned café instead.
