This location consistently makes my pink drink wonderfully. A lot of places put too much coconut milk and not enough strawberry acai, but this Starbucks does it correctly more often than not. I'm not gonna lie, that's pretty much all I get at Starbucks. Occasionally I will get food but in my opinion it is overpriced for microwaved sandwiches, and I am not a coffee drinker. The employees are always very kind--I have never had a bad experience with them. Where it loses a star, is the wait time and online ordering. Wait time: The drive thru can take a very long time even when there is only a couple cars ahead. Not sure if I always get stuck behind people who order complicated drinks, but it is frustrating, especially since my drink is two ingredients with ice. Going in is usually quicker if you can find a good parking spot. Online ordering: I have never been able to do it at this location. The app always says they are sold out of the pink drink. Go there, order it, and... they have it. Not the biggest issue, but online ordering is SO convenient to avoid wait times. I can order it before I leave my house, drive there, run inside and grab my drink, and I'm on my way. It eliminates any sort of wait time, but I can't do it. read more

I want to like this location but every time I go, my order is always wrong. I worked for Starbucks for years and I understand getting busy and slammed with customers. I can't imagine how it is now with a pandemic. But, 5 out of 5 drinks I've ordered are wrong. Wrong milk, missing syrup, wrong drink entirely. I just left this Starbucks and am pretty annoyed. When I walked in, I was the only person waiting to place an order and I stood there for 4 minutes before anyone took my order. There were 6 people working. I finally ordered my coffee (a house coffee and an americano) and then waited another 7 minutes before my order was ready. Meanwhile I watched 6 cars go through the drive through, receiving their orders. I watched the "drive thru clock" from my vantage point. Clearly there is a focus on urgency and good customer service for the drive thru customers. Shout out to the "Coffee Master" who served us this morning. We headed out of Topeka with the local Starbucks being inconvenient to our Rt70 journey, and went the additional distance to Junction City. A grande half dark/half pike starts my day off and this morning's was excellent. The hubs likes his "Arnold Palmer" to fire up his yeti ... that and yummy muffin, breakfast sandwich and protein pack and we're ready for the day!!! Only starbucks in town so it does get busy and the wait can be a little long but have never had any issues with the quality of the drinks.

Friendly. Clean. Pastries are ALWAYS stale. espresso tastes burnt. That happens to espresso when the shot has been allowed to sit there before adding it to water/milk in time. It becomes dark black ahs bitter tasting. Drinks aren't stirred. When its busy there is a young female barista that is extremely rude. You would think her job is extremely serious And stressful. . She runs around and is short with customers and her coworkers. Even engaged in an argument with the cashier in front of me! I've always been happy with drive thru service. . Customer service is all right but the baristas here do not make the drinks well. I order a Iced Carmel macchiato and they use little Carmel drizzle. I gave it another shot and same thing. Coffee is usually good however sometimes staff will say they don't do certain beverages in a venti when the day before in the same store other staff have made the beverage without question. Overall parking isn't bad, the older gent with the beard is awesome and of course with every Starbucks if you tell them your name is Jessica your coffee says Bryan. read more

I had such high hopes for this one because its the only one around and had a drive thru, but sadly it is quicker, cheaper, and quality is better if you just go to the next closest Starbucks (on Fort Riley). Every other time I go here, which is very frequently, my drink is wrong. Even iced tea orders are messed up here so then I always have to circle around or walk in to correct it. Don't get me started on their speediness or lack thereof. As a former Starbuck supervisor myself, I see the biggest problem is training. Get it together because its too expensive for people to get their drinks wrong more often than they are correct. read more

The ladies at this location were very sweet and friendly, and remade my drink after I spilled it outside with no complaint. The register partner (Shayna, I believe), was wonderful. I am very disappointed. I've worked at 4 Starbucks' and it's a pretty simple thing to make drinks but today when I went in for a Frapuccino they made it wrong they put caramel in my vanilla bean with shots and there was no ice whatsoever and it meaning it was just a drink with vanilla, shots and milk. I visit this Starbucks at least 3 times a week, today however my visit really upset me as I watched the barista make my drink with 2% milk and my cup clearly states NONFAT. I asked her if she made that with non fat milk and she said yes! But then says I can remake it for you if you want. No I don't have the time thats why I Mobile Order. And I have even had to Order 5 minutes sooner than what they say the time will be because they are so slow. Not to mention when I got to my office my cup is only 3/4 full. I spend on Average $50 a week at this place. Not anymore. I called to speak to the Manager and the Manager on duty told me she didn't know when the manager would be back or in again. She was unwilling to help me. I will Not return to this location ever again. They have been slow since the day they opened and nothing ever tastes the same from day to day! I get a grande White Chocolate Mocha with wipe cream. They never stir it up all the way nor do they fill the cup up. I can understand that you have to save room for the wipe cream but it's apart only half full. I rather go inside to the Starbucks at Fort Riley. read more

The worst Starbucks I have ever been to. Customer service is horrible, waits times are incredibly long, and the experience of all the staff is extremely low. The manager of the store has either has not be read in to the policies and procedures of Starbucks or just doesn't care about knowing or abiding by them, and the same goes for the regional manager of the store. Having filed several complaints with the Starbucks HQ office, and personally talking to the manager as well as the regional manager, no changes have been made. So I have ordered from this Starbucks and many others multiple times. Today, I ordered the same drink I always order and I could tell when I tasted it that something was missing/different. My drink tasted like milk and only milk; so I poured a little out and realized it was ALL MILK! So I called, seeing as their cup says you must be happy with your drink or they will replace it. Attempted to get coffee today at the Starbucks across from Walmart in junction city, Service was incredibly slow. I waited in the drive-through line for over 15 minutes and had to leave the line with no coffee do to it taking so long there were still two cars in front of me after waiting in line over 15 minutes. Extremely dissatisfied and frustrated to sit there for so long and have to leave the line because it's taking too long. read more
