Nothing special with this one. The employees were friendly except for the gentleman with white gages and whinny voice. We stopped by for a break from a long drive. Once we pulled into the lot, there was no-one there. By the time we parked and locked up the car, 20 people showed up. Cars everywhere. Now, there's a long line to order drinks. Three unisex bathroom were clean and the sink to wash up were modern. Super impressed. Since we didn't want to stand in line to order drinks, we decided just to use the empty drive thru. By the time we reached the window to pay for our meal, the drinks were ready. Just your average Starbucks. The employees are nice, drinks and food are good, everything is crazy expensive. I ordered a ham and swiss panini and a green tea latte. The sandwich was greasy but delicious. The drink was good but had a very powdered taste. The only thing I dislike about Starbucks are the prices :( I could make a green tea and ham and cheese sandwich for cheap at my house, but at Starbucks it is about $15. This Starbucks is extremely disappointing. The baristas are extremely ill-informed about their products, and cannot follow directions. Also, their iced-tea brewing practices are wasteful and ecologically harmful. I had asked for a plain green tea without mint flavoring. The girl said they don't have one, and that all they had was matcha, which is minty. Surprised and confused by that, I asked when they added mint to their matcha, and she replied "some customers have said the matcha's kinda mint-ish." Fortunately, the guy behind the counter had the sense to hand me a tea list. I immediately saw the Emperor's Green Tea, which is exactly what I had been asking for. I asked for it iced, but with easy ice. When I got the drink, the Barista even said, "Green tea, easy ice." But the cup was full from top to bottom with ice! I also noticed that when they brewed my tea, they used a paper cup instead of a plastic or metal container. They then immediately threw it away upon transferring the hot tea to a plastic shaker with ice. I find this to be extremely wasteful, and am surprised that Starbucks doesn't have a more eco-friendly standard of practice for brewing an iced tea. Please use a metal or plastic reusable container for brewing! Needless to say, I will not be returning to this location again. read more

The cafe sits in a very odd center, a circular structure that appears to have everything going for it, sitting right between two freeway exits and onramp, with lots of freeway traffic, yet the center is basically empty. This Starbucks has plenty of floor space but very few seats. The workers seem to have lots of fun at their jobs and they appear to know many of the regulars who come in. This Starbucks used to be pretty decent. I have even overlooked the rude af manager and the multiple times that I've come here at opening time, only to find that nobody is even here or working yet. But, since covid, the service has been horrible. Once I even placed a mobile order to show up and find the entire store closed and no way for me to get my money back. I walked up today to find the door locked, no sign saying the drive-through is the only open option. Just confused mobile order customers wondering why the door isn't open. And, I had already placed my mobile order far enough in advance that my warm food was cold by the time that I got to the window to get it. Never again. This review is much more about my bathroom experience than an actual account of Starbucks coffee. As a frequent commuter on the 101 I have dropped the kids off at the pool many times at this fine facility. It gets cleaned often and has a really nice set of wall bars for those more advance in the art of grunt and go. Other finer points are the open room style stall, favorable acoustics and a low profile entry. The toilet is located right off the entry door which allows for easy ingress and outgress far from the eyes of team members. This is a tremendous advantage when you really need to lay-down serious cable or negotiate the release of two brown hostages. Without all the feelings of shame one might otherwise have when getting the evil eye from staff. All and all you can't beat this pitstop! kerplunk, kerplunk! Two thumbs up! read more

This Starbucks seriously chose the wrong day to have a bad day. What really just got me the most is the fact that a lot of employees were working, but the quality they offered sucked. Someone please fix this. For starters, I've literally been on the verge of deciding not to maintain my gold status. So this Starbucks did one good thing actually. It helped me make a decision to NOT maintain my gold status. We stopped by to get drinks here during our long drive back down to SoCal. I ordered a venti matcha green tea frappuccino, and they totally forgot it. My cousins & brother ordered right before me and after they got their drinks, a few other people that ordered AFTER me started getting their drinks. At first, I was giving them the benefit of the doubt, but after some lady who literally just walked in got her iced tea, I sternly asked about my drink. They just made it right on the spot for me, which was nice, but frankly I should have received a free drink. In addition, they also messed up my brother's drink. He got a grande when he originally ordered a venti, and they failed to put coconut milk as he requested. I get it--mistakes can happen, but when there are about 7 of you working behind the counter with not even a long line of customers ordering/waiting, that was all completely unacceptable. On another note, the line for the restrooms was extremely long because one of the two was closed. I can forgive that because, unfortunately, it does happen every so often plus there was at least another one open anyway. However, the only one open was utterly disgusting. It smelled like pee as if some homeless person just left a puddle with a mix of their B.O., and there was also no soap left. Now with the other restroom closed, you would think they'd do a better job maintaining the only one open, not to mention AGAIN that there was a bunch of employees working. It seems like employee training needs some serious improvement here. With a lot of them working, having the mess-ups and uncleanliness of the restroom is just plain ridiculous. Also, since this location is off the highway and lots of travelers probably stop by, one would expect that they'd do a better job than most Starbucks locations. As a closing statement... a big congratulations to this Starbucks for celebrating my last Starbucks drink (that I buy myself) with me. read more

The coffee was so bad at King City Inn we stopped at Starbucks for a morning jump. There was a bit of activity in the shopping complex and it was nice to see a little life in King City. The service is a little spotty at this location. We bought coffee, a paper, and a muffin. Waited 10 minutes for coffee and when they never gave us our muffin, we asked for it and then they asked us if we would like to order one and when we said we paid for one, they finally handed it over.
