Stopped in for my usual pike with room. Headed out for a trip to see family two hours away. Would have been nice to have used the restroom before my journey. But, they had them locked. I mean, seriously locked with a passcode keypads to gain access. No note on the door or anything. I get it I guess. Some people lock up valuables, others lock up guns or money. This one is right up there with the standard solid chain location. We headed inside cause I wanted to check out the collectible mugs, which they only have the Tennessee one, FYI. The staff was very friendly and quick to make the drinks. My drink was made exactly as ordered. I loved their Edison lighting and it looks like a warm, inviting place to sit / work if you wanted to hang out here. Don't go here. It said online they were open but their indoor area was locked. We were at Lynnhurst cemetery and I was having a bladder emergency so we drove to Starbucks because we can always count on Starbucks for a good experience getting some food, coffee, and a potty break. We frequent Starbucks usually at least twice a week and more on roadtrips but did not know this area or this Starbucks. But one of the things we love about Starbucks is the consistent customer experience, great customer service, and clean open restrooms always available. I could see the drive through was open and we wanted to go through it and order food and coffee for everyone, but I had to go potty desperately so needed to take care of that first. I called and asked if I could just come in and use the bathroom quick and the guy said he would ask the manager and put me on hold for a few minutes and then just click hung up or something dropped out so since I was unsure which I called back and they did not pick up so must have been that they hung up. I could clearly see the drive through window and they could see me the whole time I was on hold. So I approached the window and asked the young woman if I could use the bathroom and she said no. Told me to go to a gas station. Or Hooters. So we took our business elsewhere. If we had been in line in the drive through we could have had their attention and help for a couple of minutes but otherwise they could not be bothered with us. We were disappointed but managed to make it to a gas station bathroom. This location is having staffing and training/management issues and is not a good representation of the Starbucks brand. Went through the drive through at 10:30am on a Thursday. The wait was a little bit longer than I expected: about 15 minutes from the time I pulled in until the time I drove off. There weren't that many cars in the drive through. I ordered an ice white mocha with an extra shot and a bacon and Gouda sandwich. The drink was made PERFECTLY and the sandwich was perfectly toasted. I really appreciate that because I've been to a lot of Starbucks and had a ton of inconsistent drinks and food. Staff was very friendly as well. This is a great Starbucks location! read more

The girl working the window had her back to me so I couldn't get her attention so I had to toot the horn. She turns around with attitude and proceeds to roll her eyes because I asked for my drink (OJ) while we waited on our food. Keep in mind she already gave us the Hot coffee that was ordered. Also, why put a cold drink in the bag of hot food? With that being said the new chicken sandwich was cold in the middle. She brought me the bag of hot food with my cold OJ in it, which is what I was trying to avoid. I waited 30 minutes past the estimated time my drink would be ready on my mobile order this morning. There were 10+ other people waiting for mobile orders that had been there that long too. I ended up getting a staff member to refund my purchase and left without ever receiving my drink. The manager told me that she was instructed to prioritize drive thru and cafe orders and mobile orders were always the last to be completed. Then why offer that service?? I won't be back. read more

I go here with my kiddos. It is a nice clean dining area... there is not a lot of seating but it's sufficient. They could stand to put in a couple comfy chairs. The workers are always polite and cheerful and our orders have always been accurate. read more

Had a very bad experience with Rebecca the Assistant Store Manager here. She couldn't understand my order which was a Venti Brown Sugar Soymilk espresso with 1 shot of espresso and 7 pumps of brown sugar. She gives me a half filled cup. Then starts steting I was rude and that she didn't have to deal with it cause she was pregnant. Not sure what that had to do with filling my cup up. Emory store made it right though. The morning drive thru sitch gets ridiculous, but simply parking and running inside Instead ( scandalous suggestion, I know) is always quick if the line is too long. About a week ago, I was a patron at this particular establishment for the first time which will probably be the last time. I live over an hour away, and I had my trip planned to this location for a week. I was really looking forward to having my Smores Frappuccino. It is summertime. I want smores. And a Smores Frapp was really the ticket. Cold coffee, marshmallows, chocolate, and graham cracker crumbles. Oh yessssssssss. Give it to me now. Upon arriving, I felt the cashier was judging me because I was unsure of the size cup I wanted. Her horse was so high. Finally, I decided upon purchasing the "Grande". Anyway, I wait a few minutes for my so-called Barista to work her magic on my smores creation. She hands me my drink and says, "Oh there is no graham crackers in this because we ran out". Excuse me? Are you serious???!?!?!?! No GRAHAM FLIPPING CRACKERS IN MY SMORES FRAPP?!?!?! That's part of what makes a smore a smore. This was totally unacceptable and I do not appreciate the fact that I was not told this upon ordering. This establishment is SHADY, MISLEADING, and APPALLING. This review comes with a disclaimer: I am a coffee snob and not generally a fan of Starbucks. When you go to any Starbucks sprinkled across the globe, you have a general expectation of the product that you are going to receive. This location is no different. They provide the average quality of drink that you will find in any other Starbucks. There's nowhere else around to get coffee in this area. So when you want coffee, you go. The end. But here's the thing...this location is pretty great. It's conveniently located directly off of the highway. It has a drive-thru. The staff is usually pretty friendly and don't act like they hate their jobs. The shop, including the bathrooms, is always clean. And there is adequate space to come camp out and study or comfy chairs if you're there to catch up with a friend...or a book. This store is so horrendous that I drive across town to get my coffee. Horribly slow drive thru service, no matter if there is a line around the building or only one car in front of you. The employees are rude and unhelpful, and openly talk about drugs, partying, and their dislike of their manager and customers within earshot.
