I am an outside sales person with a territory that goes from Van Nuys to Palm Springs and up to Victorville. I stop at a Starbucks almost every day in this territory. Today I stopped at the Cross Roads location and pulled into the drive-through and asked to refill my tea. The girl in the microphone went to ask her manager and came back and said no to me. At this point there was one car in front of me and now there was two cars behind me so I asked if she could help me out because now I am stuck. And again she said no. Went in just for a regular coffee and as soon as I got to my car to place the bento cup in my cup holder the lid popped off and I burned my hand. Staff wasn't apologetic or showed any empathy. This was at 6am and definitely wasn't a great start to my day as I was covered in coffee as well as some paperwork. Never going back to this place again. So one evening I went to this Starbucks drive thru and ordered my drink (not my usual drink iced caramel macchiato with an add shot) but when I pulled up to the window the Barista handed me my drink and asked "if I wanted to get cracked out" I was kinda shocked but I wasn't opposed to it, I mean she was real nice and cute but kindly responded, "next time". So this is not the first time this situation happens to me but, I decided to go into the starbucks and order my drinks because I saw that the drive thru line was long. There was no one in the store which was a plus for me . So I ordered my drinks. I waited a good 15-20 mnts to get my order when I was the only one in there . Once I got my order the barista informs me my drinks are ready and I realized that she missed a drink. There I go ordering my drink again. I waited again for my drink and another 10-15 mnts pass. There were at least 5- 6 baristas and you can tell that drive thru orders are a priority. So I recommend that you do not get off and order because you will not get your order fast and you wont be a priority. Starbucks needs to get it together because Guest who walk in are as much as a priority as the drive thru guest. read more

The only reason I gave a star was because the partner in the window was really trying to make a connection with me. I ordered my drink (brown sugar shaken expresso very light ice extra oat milk). The partner taking orders rudely said "ok so you want a latte because a shaken expresso is just a splash a milk and ice based?" I did not have time to argue or even explain the drink to her since I had work. I told her its fine make it a latte just make sure its shaken light ice. I get to the window my cup is 3/4 full. I told her I wanted extra milk. She takes drink back and adds Ice. I really do not understand why people work for starbucks if they dislike their job. My drink was not shaken all the syrup was subtle at the bottom. I got a horrible drink. I really hope the shift or store manage speaks to that partner I am sure she has messed up other customer's drink simply because she is not happy being there. Really dissatisfied. Where do I begin...... number one the customer service is trash. I love Starbucks coffee it's delicious but I am going to stop going because of how bad the customer service is. (DISCLAIMER- I frequent the Starbucks in Downtown Los Angeles and Southbay area - Dark Roast brewed throughout the day is not uncommon there, so thanks for all giving me info as to why they stop brewing Dark at this location or any San Gabriel area locations, I get your point, please understand it's my taste as we all have the freedom to like and dislike - I'm not hating on this review, just my opinion - what do I know? the whys & hows, who does know??) Yeah, I see why the reviews are so low, although I haven't had any issues with Customer service. My only beef is that they stop brewing dark roast by a certain time during the day - I need that given any time! Plus, spending my week days in DTLA, ones accustomed to it. But, they have their Pike or Blonde (or whatever) roast, as long as they have something resembling coffee, I'm good. Drive thru's convenient and it's right off the 60, that's all you really need. Plus it's in an area between North Whittier and Industry where are isn't anything for the residents, yet alone employees of surrounding businesses (and commuters off freeway). Some of my old classmates still reside there and would have to drive to Beverly Blvd (or El Monte) before this one opened, hence the three stars, woo hoo! I came in and they took care of the problem great. The manager is quick to take care of the customer. The drive thru line was a little long. But that may be because it is hot outside. Love drive thru. Staff was very polite. This is now my favorite Starbucks. Never been in. Love the drive thru. I was very unpleased with the way my drink was made at this Starbucks. I practically paid for a cup of ice. 90% ice and 10% of the actually green tea latte. Ice green tea latte is my always go to drink and I have never been dissatisfied with it till I ordered here. I never have an ice issue at other locations, so I never mention light ice when I get a grande, but at this location I should have definitely said no ice. The baristas definitely should get re trained on how to make the drinks, because I was observing their work and I'm pretty sure you mix or add the drink first then add the ice at the end. They may be cute looking, but pay attention on how you're making drinks, I'm sure they would be upset if they got a cup of ice. Who writes reviews to Starbucks? The experience is so quick and pleasant. But this stood out as the most terrible customer service experience I have had. Went to this SBUX on 11/30 Tues around 10am. The short haired barista at the register just took a customer's order and I stood there waiting for her. I waited 2-3 seconds to see if she was ready and she was just staring at me saying nothing. Her demeanor and body language was so rude it shocked me. She did not greet me. Not that I want a greeting but I was expecting, "hi, what can I get you?" Something. Anything. She just took my order and said, "okay" and gave me the total. Maybe she should work where people skills are not required. read more

Not very happy with the Starbucks today. I come here every Saturday morning before work and today I just sat in the Drive-Thru nobody helped me ,then I drove up thinking maybe their drive-thru speaker system was not working properly, but just sat there at the window hoping they would look my way even though someone did come close to the window but I'm assuming they didn't see me. I don't even know if the car that was in front of me got helped or they just drove off too like me. Just FYI even if the little signal that alerts you someone is in drive-through goes off or doesn't you might want to just check occasionally to make sure somebody's not waiting to be helped. not everybody is in a total Rush some people are patient that's why they sit there and wait a little bit, but to not be helped that really sucks. read more
