Coworker brought some tamales from here and I was able to try one. I didn't know what to expect when I opened it, but it was a chicharon tamale. The first bite had that fried charred pork effect, but the rest was kinda soft, because the skin went from crunchy to soft when cooked into the tamale. A bit odd, but damn delicious. This is the panadería we frequent the most, it's not out of this world but it's good! The pan de elote is a must try. They offer food items such as tortas and tamales but you need to go very early in the morning because they run out QUICK. Overall very solid place, only complaint is you never know what pans they'll have and the selection is low. They grab it for you unlike other places. read more

Visited this panaderia for the first time yesterday, I was recommended by a coworker. I was pleasantly surprised. It's pretty busy in the morning, so I was glad that there was still some pan dulce left. I also tried a cheese tamale. So good!! One of the employees was deadass coughing a lung out when we got inside and said someone else would help us instead of helping us out herself. A homeless man was minding his business outside the bakery and so we got him some food...and as we're leaving, this same woman is literally telling the man to leave. This man was doing nothing wrong; for all we know he could be a former veteran or someone just going through hard times. So I covered my bases by asking if they were going to be open on Christmas day, both ladies said yes until 3pm. So I placed an order. Here I am at 9am on Christmas and they are closed. They asked for my number, but for what?! No phone or text message to let me know that they were going to be closed. Poor customer service, management that doesn't know their own schedule and the lack of Business ethic to notify a customer if things change. An older woman about 5'3, brown hair, no facemask threatened to call the cops at me just because she overcharged me and I asked for a refund. She didn't let me know the price ahead of time so how would I be aware of the price? Whoever is the owner needs to train their employees better because this attitude and personality is not okay. It is not rocket science, if someone asks for a refund while the item is complete and unopened or uneaten its common sense to do a refund I didn't even open the bag either it was fresh inside why was it so difficult to give me a refund if I didnt even touch it? even on my bad days at work I give out positive attitude to everyone. Nothing special. Super tiny business. When I went there was limited selection. Got 2 orejas/palmier, & a cuerno/horn and also a large champurrado. The champurrado ess so, so nothing special & my disappointment was the cuerno, it was filled with a lot of pieces of eggshells. I had to throw it away. I will never go there again. read more

I first found out about this bakery via a friend who recommended their mini pan dulces. She raves about how good their bread is so I gave them a try, and I was not disappointed. I have also ordered their cupcakes for birthday occasions twice, and oh my god if you haven't tried them you are missing out! Their strawberry cupcakes are AMAZING The cakes are super tasty too. I ordered one this year for my boyfriends birthday and it came out very beautiful and delicious, and my bf thought it tasted really yummy too! The service is always good, everyone always greets you with a friendly hello or a smile here. The only drawback is that they only accept cash atm, but I don't think it's that big of a deal though. This lil bakery has the best tamales, champurrado , pan Dulce & virotes it's like being in Mexico.....they are open super early 3 am to 3 pm Monday to Sat & 4am to 2pm on Sunday. So this is the deal I made a order of 3 1/2 dozens for a important dinner I was going to have this Sunday.. so I received a call that one of the workers have give my order to someone else.. I guess they really don't check twice what they give to the customers.. so ok they call me saying that they can't redo my order anymore that they only had chicken tamales and some of the pork ones.. I ask if she could make it happen that I could go later and pick them up. she said they wouldn't be ready till tomorrow. It sucks because I was counting on them specially because I had talk so good about them.. it sucks because for been my first time making a order so my family and friends could try them they messed up my order at the last minute.. for them it's all good cuz they go home with no worries.. now I have to figure what I could do to take a good amount of food for my guest.. and all I hear from a young lady was sorry about that!!.. I mean it happens but I think they should make extra for when things like this happen..
