Today, we went to Starbucks, hoping for refreshing drinks and good service. We ordered four drinks at the same time on my registered Starbucks card. After, ordering I used the restroom and it was filthy. The toilet was dirty, the mirror and sink were not clean. My brothers were waiting for our drinks. My brother brought over my Mom's drink and my drink to the table. We drank our drinks, then 36 minutes later, after asking three times and wondering where there drinks were they were served the rest of our drinks with no apologies. By the time, they came to the table, they were too tired from standing and waiting to stay there any longer. So we left, frustrated and upset. I don't like giving a two star, but this was unacceptable. read more

I love their remodel!! I'm at Starbucks every other day and I go between this location and the one on socrum loop. I've been in here recently and I can honestly say that the booth is super cute and it's pretty quiet here. The drive thru is usually long but they really try to speed it up in the morning by having someone outside taking orders. read more

We pulled up to the drive thru line which was wrapped around the building at least 3/4 of the way. The team did an excellent job at keeping the line moving at a steady pace. Drinks weren't all that great but I can see how things might get a little crazy when under pressure and you're training new employees. Overall a good experience. My only recommendation would be that maybe the management on staff move into more of a overseeing/delegation position instead of hands on(making drinks) when things get busy in order to keep things moving and consistent. The food always meets corporate standards. I'm addicted to skinny iced lattes. Many of the local roasteries don't carry skim milk so I may be a forever fan, despite their higher price. I enjoy the spinach breakfast wrap but many Starbucks are out of it regularly. Just tried the egg bites--which were tasty but not worth $5 (for 2). This parking lot is a bit difficult to get in the drive-thru queue, requiring twice around the building and departing into a busy traffic light back up. I had never been but always heard the hype behind this place. I always found it interesting how people would carry the same cup of coffee or juice the entire 8 hour school day. So fast forward past high school and I decided to try this. I got the strawberry refresher and the bacon and egg g word I cannot pronounce. First off it was dry as expected. The egg taste like McDonald's 30 second microwaved with the stale bacon from Wendy's. The cheese is always Elmers glue with yellow dye. It was an expensive Dunkin bacon, egg and cheese wrap. The strawberry refresher hurt my eyes just looking at the colorful mess. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed but you could tell it would be unhealthy. First sip taste like expired goat milk. As I forcefully slurped down the concoction it made my stomach turn. The strawberry must have took a day off when I decided to buy it cause it was no where to be found in the drink. Starbucks is Starbucks pretty much wherever you go. Some are more comfortable than others and this one is comfortable. The decor is a bit brighter than many of the new ones. I love the new Blonde latte. It tastes less roasted than Starbucks usual lattes. The regular roast seems maybe more acidic and less tolerable than the new Blonde Lattes. I hope this is here to stay. read more

It is not okay to talk about other customers in front of a customer. This happened at drive thru and she made my drink wrong also. She repeated my order back to me so I have no idea how my drink order ended up being wrong on the sticker. Our drinks have always been excellent and made in a very reasonable amount of time. The establishment in general is very clean inside and out. I would have given this review 4 stars bet feel strongly enough about the lack of aesthetics in a new Starbucks to give it a 3. I mean seriously, for a Starbucks, and a new one at that, this particular location must have used a robot for an interior decorator. It is bright but not cheery, noisy, cramped, and feels cold. I would have uploaded a photo but I prefer color over black and white. This is all very subjective. When you are hitting the road between Tampa and Orlando sometimes you need a Starbucks stop. This place was convenient (near the Lakeland Mall exit) and not too far off the highway. The service was very quick and efficient. The location is not very large with some seating and I can see where it could potentially get busy. Although it was a quick stop I could tell that the tone was designed to relax and soothe customers especially with the nice jazz playing in the background. I got a Caramel Frappuccino with all the bad stuff removed leaving all the flavor. This combination really set the tone for the rest of our trip to Orlando. Other than this, really a typical Starbucks. Good location for this kind of trip. read more

This place only gets 2 stars due to the fact that it is Starbucks and I pretty much live on it. Now, has be been here in Lakeland all of 10 days now and due to my living situation, this particular Starbucks is the most convenient for me to get to. (Although when I've had time I have driven 3-4 miles past this location to the one further south on 98) Today however, I had no choice and had to come to this location. Normally a fairly heavy traffic location but when I walked in there was no line. I ordered my standard Venti Iced Americano (which might be the easiest coffee to make) and went to sit down and wait. 10-12 minutes later my coffee is ready. I'm pretty pissed off by this point as there were 6 people behind the counter with another on the drive thru so I'm trying to figure out what the other people are doing back there! I've been to locations where the coffee is waiting for A's I put my wallet in my pocket and walk the 10 ft to the end of the counter. 10+ minutes????? Are you serious??! To make things just a tad worse, when I went to pick up my drink I noticed the top wasn't properly placed on the cup. Had I not noticed this I likely would've lost it all over myself the counter and the floor. It's the little things! How hard is it to make sure the top is on. I would've been livid had it come off and I had to wait another 10 minutes! This place could use a serious overhaul of its employees as they just aren't cut out of it. read more

Starbucks is always very consistent. Good service and great coffee. This Starbucks is always a little slower than most in Lakeland. If I happen to be in a hurry I usually do the mobile ordering for this location. There's plenty of outside seating and a long bar top for seating inside with a few tables and a couple comfortable chairs. They recently started a book exchange which is a nice touch. read more

I have never had an issue with Starbucks until today. Drive thru lady forgot my pastries which is understandable if they are in a rush but the drive thru was empty and not that many people inside . I call the store to see if I can come back later for them because I am in a rush , I spoke with someone made Chaz or Chad not sure but he told me that there's nothing that he could do if I come back later.
