Drinks are always amazing and all the people who work here are so sweet, they always make my day a little better.

Ham and Swiss Baguette was super cheesy and warm. White chocolate mocha frappe with a shot of expresso prepares me for a long day ahead. Service was quick despite long drive thru line.

Desperate for fluids we pulled in here. Beloved got his coffee, I got my usual large water. It's much too loud for us inside so we sat outside on a pleasant afternoon. Bathrooms are clean. Starbucks are a dependable stop any time.

Every barista is so nice 10/10 recommend , 5 stars all around & will definitely be returning everyday, I'm somewhat of a regular

I don't give many Five-Star Ratings, but this Starbucks had provided service consistent with the best training principles of the Company since my first visit several years ago. This store has a fairly small footprint on a very small parcel of land just off the Interstate (I-4 Exit 33) so parking is at a premium. That said, if you can find a parking spot this is a great place to take a break between Orlando and Tampa. If you want to jump right back in the freeway, their drive-thru is fairly efficient and you can always pull through the lot and find your way to Lake Gibson Park and Boatramp -- just west of the shared Five Guys/Starbucks parking lot, where you will find additional parking, shade trees, picnic tables and boat access to Make Gibson. Today's service was no exception. Clean tables, dry floors (it's raining cats and dogs as I write this), clean restrooms and friendly, efficient Baristas who put a smile on my face every time I drop by.

Sadly I have to downgrade this Starbucks location, although the location is great, my last two recent visits produced very disappointing results in regard to product quality. Both visits were early morning drive-thru experiences with the same girl working the window, no cheery smiles here just a depressing I hate my job look and complete lack of motivation and my lattes fell far below what any one's expectations should be - I ended up dumping both not planning on returning...

Showed up at 9 am and they had all of the doors locked and only the drive through partially opened.

Been to Starbucks all over the place. This one by far is the slowest service I've even received at Starbucks. Drive Thru and Inside.

The vibe is awesome with brick walls, tasteful decor, and pleasant music, and just what I look for in a local coffee shop. Prices are fairly reasonable with many drink and food options. Although there was a bit of line when I visited, it moved quickly and staff was efficient in getting ordered items out to guests. I went with a white mocha frappe (5/5), asking for it to be made less sweet. It's not something I ordinarily see on the menu at local coffee shops, so was delighted at how good it was, with just the right amount of sweetness to it. It's shame that there's nothing like it at coffee shops close to where I live, as it's something that'd be in my regular rotation of caffeinated drinks I'd order. As my friends and I enjoyed our experience here, I'd definitely return to Black & Brew, and would recommend them to others looking for a quality coffee shop in Lakeland.

Black & Brew in downtown Lakeland is exactly what a neighborhood café should be--welcoming,…read moreenergetic, and full of flavor. The standout for me was the Holiday Ham breakfast sandwich, and it absolutely lived up to its name. Built on a flaky buttermilk biscuit, it layers a light, fluffy egg soufflé with thinly sliced ham, praline bacon that adds just the right touch of sweetness, and a cranberry orange jam that ties everything together with a bright, unexpected pop. Every bite tasted thoughtful and seasonal without being overcomplicated--comfort food elevated. I paired it with Jennie's Dolce seasonal espresso drink, and it was so good I immediately wanted another. Even more impressive? The second one tasted just as perfect as the first--a small detail that says a lot about their consistency and care behind the bar. The coffee shop ambience immediately stands out, with a relaxed yet polished vibe that makes it just as ideal for a casual morning as it is for catching up on work or meeting friends. Service was warm and efficient, and you can tell this place has become a staple in the downtown community. If you appreciate creative twists on classic breakfast favorites and expertly crafted coffee drinks, Black & Brew is well worth the stop. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.
