Went here to get my wife a coffee after my doctors appointment. She wanted some fancy long named coffee that is beyond me, but is actually on the menu as is with just 1 addition. She wanted salted caramel cold foam added. I read everything from a text she sent. After ordering hers, I ordered my simple , what I always get, grande hot *white* mocha. The barista over the intercom repeated my order correctly too, which left me puzzled. Nothing was shown on the screen but with her reading everything back correctly I figured that's fine. Pulled up to the window and just collected the drinks and was on my way. Once I got on the highway I tried my drink and it was a regular mocha, which is not what I wanted. This prompted me to look at my wife's and there was no cold foam added. I was already on the highway so going back wasn't an option. I was confused as she repeated back the correct order to me but somehow the order got lost in translation? Not sure. To add insult to injury, my regular gross mocha cup collapsed in when I picked it up the second time. This led to the lid popping off, losing grip of the cup because it collapsed in, and spilled hot all over me and my car. I ended up letting Starbucks on fb know about the encounter and they refunded everything which was nice. I wasn't blaming the cup incident on them, but it was just an unfortunate misfortune after being wrong anyways. read more

Love this location! It's super clean with a great ambiance. The baristas are so kind and sweetie. One barista, I think her name was Kayleigh... she was so helpful and speedy! Also, really fun music here- I've heard quite a variety in the last fifteen minutes including music from the Tangled soundtrack, Hamilton, and "Rewrite the Stars" from The Greatest Showman. This Starbucks has actually went downhill. I have been going to this location since 2013 and honestly is has been terrible. I don't know if they just aren't getting proper supplies but the coffee always tasted watered down... if I wanted watered down coffee then I could have used my Keurig.. let's be honest. I gave it a 3 star because I have always gotten decent customer service but honestly it should probably be 2 stars because they have continuously changed their store hours. Absolutely awful!! Went on a Sunday and mobile ordered for a drive through pick up. When we get there the drive through line is around the building! We sat 10-15 mins at a time without moving while people went in and out quickly with orders. We tried to edit our order so we could go in and pick up or cancel the order but the app would not allow it so we had to wait or lose the $ and the order. If you're traveling and want a quick coffee or something, go on to the next exit unless you have at least an extra 45mins to wait. I'd rather drink 7-11 dirt water than wait on this type of service again. So awful. HOWEVER... The associate (Ashley) at the drive through window was very sweet and had a positive attitude. read more

We haven't been to this location in quite a few years and all we did was hit the drive-thru. There was a short line but quick service. They were out of quite a few items on the menu but they were very helpful with workarounds that they had available. We were able to get what people wanted without any real trouble which was really nice. The person we talked to was very friendly and when we paid they were great about things. Employees were wearing masks which is still nice to see. I may not personally be a big fan of Starbucks but we always get good service and people are always satisfied with what they get to drink or eat. read more

I don't give many Five-Star Ratings, but this Starbucks had provided service consistent with the best training principles of the Company since my first visit several years ago. This store has a fairly small footprint on a very small parcel of land just off the Interstate (I-4 Exit 33) so parking is at a premium. That said, if you can find a parking spot this is a great place to take a break between Orlando and Tampa. If you want to jump right back in the freeway, their drive-thru is fairly efficient and you can always pull through the lot and find your way to Lake Gibson Park and Boatramp -- just west of the shared Five Guys/Starbucks parking lot, where you will find additional parking, shade trees, picnic tables and boat access to Make Gibson. Today's service was no exception. Clean tables, dry floors (it's raining cats and dogs as I write this), clean restrooms and friendly, efficient Baristas who put a smile on my face every time I drop by. read more

I feel bad about the experience Dave W at this Starbucks. (Glad it was not me hope things improve on the morning shift) Stopped at this Starbucks on my way back from Orlando. Late in the afternoon. The hot Florida sun called for an iced latte . It must've been about 5:30 PM when things get pretty busy right by the highway. Went through the drive-through and the young lady at the window was very pleasant and professional. Took our order, A little confusing the info may have been for someone else. Since I had to adjust a few things with my iced Venti (green tea). Also and ice coffee latte was ordered. She informed me that the Barista was Austin. He truly did a very good job and prepared everything specifically to instructions. I hope I have another 5 Star Experience on my next visit. There was NO food items placed on the drive-through window that's a big plus. FYI: stay away from establishments that put on their Drive-Thru Windows. The staff and manager are so glib and ignorant it will blow you away. Every time we drive to Lakeland and beyond from the Orlando area we always stop at this Starbucks at Exit 33. The staff is always friendly and the place is always comfortable even though it's often busy. Today we ordered the iced blonde latte with fat free milk, iced caramel macchiato, caramel frappuccino, a protein box, double smoked bacon chicken sandwich and Sous Vide egg bites. We are loving the new Blonde lattes. For anyone who hasn't been the biggest fan of Starbucks coffee due to the strong or high roasted taste, the Blonde roast is really really good and I recommend that you stop in to try. The double smoked chicken sandwich is very flavorful and filling. The Sous Vide egg whites are tasty and lite and the protein boxes are a refreshing lighter lunch or snack. read more

Worst customer service ever! My family is standing there waiting for drinks while two baristas are standing behind the counter. Not once did they ask what we were waiting on. Finally, my husband asked about our drinks. The drink tickets were apparently coming out of a different location. The (long blonde hair)barista then proceeded to make the drinks and was absolutely rude. Was it our fault that the tickets printed elsewhere?! Mobil order never ready on time , they ignored me when I walked in the store, I looked her in the eye and she said she need to look for my order! Customer service is always great and he is very well mannered. He always gets our orders correct without any mistake. He is definitely a great worker and always with a smile on his face! Waited almost 20 minutes for two food items after our drinks came out and we were seemingly forgot about , one of our food items as well as food items other people had ordered had been given to customers who ordered after us (a Couple of them came in after and were out quicker than us ) and that was after I had been ignored when asking for a knife that they had also forgot to give me. Staff seemed very disorganized and be prepared for them to pay more attention to drive thru than to anyone in the store . It's very difficult to get in line at the Starbucks or to even navigate through the parking lot . It was a very poorly planned area to put a Starbucks. There's always a long line and barely any parking around the building you have to actually park in Aldi's parking lot to be able to get in and out of this Starbucks. I was just passing through on the interstate, visiting from Washington State from Tampa to Orlando. I was very pleasantly surprised by the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff and the quality of my food (steak wrap) and cup of coffee (Italian drip). Usually, most SBUX mess up drip coffee after 10 AM or so but not these guys - they were brewing a fresh batch at the prescribed intervals. Perhaps the best part was when a customer, a tow truck driver, left his fancy $$$ sunglasses at his table (saw it had fell down), one of the staff ran out and chased after the guy in the lot to return it to him. I don't know if everyone in Central Florida is this nice, but none of the Starbucks in my Seattle suburbs are this good, this dedicated or this genuinely nice on a consistent level. Every time we head to Tampa from Orlando, we stop at your Socrum and I4 store in Lakeland, Florida. Mobile ordered and is usually waiting for us when we stop. Last Friday, about 2:00pm, we did the same, ordering food and drinks. Walked inside and only Michelle's drink was waiting up there, so I stood to the side and waited for my other drink and food to appear. Store didn't appear to be that busy and I just stood there. I was never greeted or acknowledged by any one of the five people behind the counter, including someone who appeared to be a regional rep. No kidding when I say I waited for about another five minutes and watched the staff talking about personal things and one guy even showing a magazine article to another staff member. I finally asked the barista what the hold up was. Turns out the asked for Stevia in one of my drinks was not available, so it sat in an empty cup labeled, apparently waiting for me to come in so they could ask an alternative sweetener. Not a problem and I told him another would be fine and he made the drink. I asked him about the food and he rolled his eyes. This is the start of my problems. Another three to four minutes go by, while I am watching him make and heat my food. When he brings it up, I ask him why no one asked me what I was waiting for. I was one of only four people in the store at the time. One lady was upset because he drive through drink was not made properly and another one was upset because the store didn't have something she had called ahead for. The final guest in the store was someone on her computer, typing furiously away, not a care in the world. I finally got the food and I asked why not one staff member said even a word to me, when I was obviously waiting for something. Joseph actually said this as his response: "I'm having a bad day". I responded with, "I do not care about your day. All I wanted was hot coffee and food and no back talk". Walked the food and coffee out to the car, thought more of it and walked back into the store. I asked for the manager on duty, to complain about my experience. Guess who was the manager? Yes, Joseph, who actually walked over to talk with me. I re-visited the circumstances with him and he again said he was having a bad day. I explained to him that this experience would make me bypass his store and move on to the next Starbucks down the road. He started to respond, when I interrupted him and just asked him for a comp coupon, as he was not interested in trying to fix my problems. He walked over to the cash register and fiddled with that for a couple of minutes, swiping a card through, pushing more buttons and then re swiping the card. Took it from him, thanked him, but told him he needed to replay this event in his mind as to find a solution for his multiple issues at his store. Went to our local Starbucks in Ocoee and ordered the same, identical order and handed the barista my comp card. SHE SAID THERE WAS NOTHING OF VALUE ON THE CARD!!!!!!! There is a huge lack of parking at this location. I found that it's almost impossible to circle the building without going directly into the drive thru. I would suggest going to the Starbucks 10 minutes away next to the mall. The prices of course are a bit pricey with it being Starbucks. I would suggest downloading the rewards app if you go frequently enough. read more

Went in and only ordered food; a multigrain bagel, egg white bites and a warmed up (at their suggestion) blueberry muffin. We waited 15 minutes (there was one other person ahead of us) and then my multigrain bagel was barely toasted, they gave us the bacon egg bites on accident so we swapped them & then waited more time and they were ice cold in the middle and we didn't even receive the muffin warm. Not the Starbucks to stop by. Service was slow, and the guys chatting behind the counter who made eye contact with me didn't bother asking if I'd like to get started with an order. They left it all to the poor lady who was at the register while they joked around and had a leisurely conversation. Given one of them was stationed at the drive through (no one on queue), the other two just kept yappin. There were 4 other customers after me and no one was greeted or acknowledged. Too bad customer service isn't a top priority at this location, otherwise I'd stop more often when I go to Tampa One bad experience maybe, but an experience one will never forget.
