I love Starbucks but what happened today is unacceptable. I was in the drive-thru when the vehicle in front of me passed the menu, I assumed she had a mobile order so I pulled up to place my order. As soon as they asked my name I see the vehicle start to back up quickly, so I hit my horn and said someone is trying to hit me. The driver yells at me that she didn't order I said I that's fine just don't hit my car, I assumed you had a mobile order. She then proceeded to say they don't do that mobile "bull shit". I just put my hand up and said ok. I didn't say anything more to her. She proceeded to call me a bitch to the worker when placing her order then repeatedly in the line. I still didn't say anything. When she got to the window the worker asked her what happened I couldn't hear everything she said but hear her say this bitch and I could clearly hear the worker say he was sorry for her inconvenience and gave her a $4 gift card. When I pulled up to the window I told him it was unacceptable for him to tell her he was sorry for her inconvenient when she almost backs into the front of my car then calls me a bitch repeatedly when I did nothing wrong but hook at her to stop her from hitting my car. I was trapped with a vehicle behind me and have someone calling me a bitch for not wanting my car smashed into. I will not be going into the drive-thru and placing mobile orders in the future. The entire staff is horrible and act very childish. They discriminate against you for any reason. They act like mean teenagers there. I'm always on the go and I'm a nurse working through covid. So this is my daily stop and I highly rely on the mobile app. The mobile app gets me in and out. Technology , throws us a loop at times and today the mobile app was down...... Bummer, especially since my order is so complicated and customized to my liking. Nevertheless, as soon as I entered the store Serenity got my coffee to me right away. She already knew what I wanted before I ordered it. I pretty much order the same thing day after day. My coffee was made perfectly and the staff was friendly. I can't say the same for the customer who got super rude with the staff over his Caramel Macchiatos because he didn't understand how a queue works with food orders. The staff handled him professionally and his drinks came out at a normal speed. Received a white mocha milkshake. I asked to get my drink fixed and was told "you subbed for white mocha." When I asked for the missing Carmel, I was told "it was mixed in." I've ordered this drink all over the AV and have always received the Day 1 drink. Felt like they did not want to make my drink correctly due to the "long wait." This place never fails to disappoint. It's sad, you work for an establishment that not only focuses on making coffee but customer service is a big priority yet the employees here know nothing about it. Every time I come here not only is my order made incorrectly, but it seems like the "friendliness and service" from Ray is rubbing off on the other partners. They're rude, and love to argue, especially Ray. The food is cold, so I'm thinking they pull it out of the oven before the timer is up, and the drinks are watered down. I asked him to remake my drink once and he came back less than 15 seconds later with a "new, remade" drink. It takes longer than that to pull the 3 shots I pay for in my drink. Today he came and told me not to order my drink in a bigger cup. Instead to order in a smaller cup and that they would give me a bigger cup on the side. So I guess he just loves to waste product. Next time you're low in supplies, you know why. This location needs management to step up and better train their employees, making drinks and in customer connection. read more

I hate to leave bad reviews but I've gave this place countless of tries. The service is probably the worst in the area there so slow which I wouldn't mind if the drinks were good. But unfortunately my drinks always taste burnt and never consistent sometimes there ok (never good just ok) sometimes they are completely terrible. I work close to this Starbucks and I usually avoid this one. I even tell my clients to stay away from this Starbucks because you will be left waiting a long time and half the time they will be out of what you want and the drinks are terrible. This is one of my favorite Starbucks locations, and I have always left very satisfied. My accumulative review of this Starbucks is a 5-star rating, which is based on numerous visits that have all been individually worthy of either 4 or 5 stars. Entry to this Starbucks is smooth and easy, regardless of the direction from which you are approaching. I typically approach this Starbucks from the 14 freeway, and then smoothly depart with a delicious beverage in hand. On occasion, I make my visits to this Starbucks extra special by also visiting the In-N-Out Burger across the street. This Starbucks is well-organized, with several sale items of interest for total javaheads like me. ;-) They have an excellent selection of cups and coffees, as well as food items on display. The seating area could be improved, and made to be more comfortable, although I am certain that this would be a little difficult with the somewhat limited space available within this location. The employee work area appears to be extremely well thought out, and enables efficient operation even during extremely busy times. For example, my most recent visit was during one of Starbucks' rare happy hour events. During this visit the drive-thru was extremely backed-up and the line inside was also almost out the door. Although the lines appeared to be intimidating, this location was well-staffed for the event, and the employees were incredibly efficient, operating like a well-oiled machine. As always, my order was correct, and it was even delivered quickly during this happy hour event. I really wish that the Starbucks chain would decide to have more of these happy hour events, since they are so incredibly enjoyable but rare. If the folks at Starbucks do happen to read this review, please pat yourselves on the backs for a having a friendly staff that is professional and hard-working. I normally have a great experience at Starbucks.. This place is place is a really horrible exception to that rule. I often do business in the area and have tried this place tried this place on numerous occasions.. It has disappointed every single time. After this latest service debacle, I figured I would finally give in and aubmit a negative review. My go-to drink is the Nitro cold brew. They never have it available. Today's experience was no different. What was different is that even though it was 2 o'clock in the afternoon, they were not open for walking business the only thing they had was the drive-through. I got in line for the drive-through, which was very slow even though it was only 3 cars long. Once I got to the microphone, I was told they did not have Nitro cold brew "today" ( As if today were different than any other day at this location). Now I couldn't get out of the line and had to wait for a ridiculously long time behind the other cars before I could escape this awful place. The next time I'm in the area, I'm going to go to a different location. This place really is the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. read more

This location is very unorganized with who does what behind the counter. Going inside to order is probably going to take way longer than waiting in a 10 car line. Nobody inside pays any attention to counter orders. They will all see who's waiting there and only focus on drive thru orders. I hope whoever manages this team will do better at directing them on who does what. read more

Not the best location at all, the baristas are extremely slow. They don't work together as a team at all. I wonder why the supervisors just don't care? They're super nice over the mic in the drive thru and are "so sorry" about your wait. But they haven't made an effort to make sure you're not sitting in the drive through 30+ minutes. When you walk up to the counter in the shop itself, they just look at you. They don't say 'hi" or even "how can I help you?" They seriously just look at you. Worst Customer Service.... Been coming to this SB for years, and never had a problem until today. I put in a mobile order and the app gave me the option to either do a walk-in pick up or drive-thru. I selected the walk-in option to avoid waiting for a while. I get there, I see my drinks are ready to go on the counter, and the door is locked. The baristas turned around and looked at me and told me and signaled to go through the drive-thru. I turned around and saw a huge line going all the way to the donut shop. No way I was going to get in that line, and at that point I just wanted to cancel my order and get a refund. I knocked on the door to get their attention to tell them to cancel it, and to find out how to get my money back since I have never asked for that request. So what did they do? They intentionally straight out ignored me, looked at me and continued to keep working. This is where I got extremely upset. I kept knocking and then one of the baristas told the supervisor I was still there. He then signals once again to go to drive-thru. I signaled at him to see how long the drive-thru was, and signaled and shouted I just want to cancel my order. All 4 baristas including the supervisor turned around to ignore me. I knocked again, and continued to ignore me. I couldn't believe how rude and disrespectful they were! I am aware of trying to be safe because of COVID, but the least they could have done was to stand behind the door to figure out what I was trying to tell them and to answer my question on how to get my refund that was nearly $22. How was I suppose to know their lobby was closed when my mobile order went through after I selected the walk-in option??? I am not a person to make scenes or yell, but their actions triggered me to call corporate. Corporate immediately resolved my issue and made the report in their system without me being rude or yelling at the rep. I don't know the name of the young blonde woman working the drive-thru at 1230pm-ish on 12/26, but definitely one of the most pleasant drive-thru attendants Ive ever had at one. Ordered a cold brew and haven't been to Starbucks in forever. I thought they only came in tall and grande. She said venti and I was surprised and said wow I didn't know they came that big. She said, they even come in treinte lol. I needed the laugh and when I pulled up to the window we had a pleasant conversation. Said happy holiday and asked how Christmas was. Very very friendly associate there. I usually don't go to Starbucks because of the hours I work at night. Rough day today for Ave I. I know it's a busy Saturday and I mobile ordered, but my caramel cloud was made horribly and I couldn't get a single barista to look up and acknowledge my concerns. The shots taste burn, you could even smell the burnt espresso from my cup. I wanted so badly to give them the benefit of the doubt being a partner myself but this was just incredibly disheartening. The engery was down and the experienced suffered. I'm only in Lancaster for a short while but it will be hard to give this location another try after the poor experience. I went to Lancaster for a site visit - I thought I'd never see civilization again, then I saw the signs - exited the freeway, went to this small strip mall and there it was, a Starbucks in a corner. As usual, I ordered a Venti Triple Mocha...It was good (I've tasted some Mocha's that tasted like a bottle of Nestle Chocolate drink and some that tasted like diluted chocolate milk..bleh) The staff that helped me was really nice- she was as perky as the percolator than brews the coffee- too much caffeine in her system I think...lol Only thing I would comment about was the blueberry scone - it seems it's not at room temperature yet ( I mean it's not fresh), the one I got was still quite cold in the center, so I immediately knew this was something sitting in the refrigerator overnight (or longer?) Overall it's hard to overlook good customer service - at least for myself, excellent customer service is the deal breaker...except when the food really sucked :) read more

Placed a mobile order and it was ready pretty quick so I went inside to pick it. Ordered three and all three were ready but they got two wrong. That's cool, mistakes happen. I informed the barista that I had ordered cream for two of my drinks and he said it wasn't printed on the sticker so he didn't put it in the drink and I showed him the order on the app that said cream and he had such an attitude when he snatched it off the counter and dumped half in the sink to put milk in it. I was over it at this point because I don't really need the attitude. My other coffee didn't have cream in it as well and I asked for syrup and neither had sweetener. I have a recurring issue with my drink order, not just at this location, but most locations are confused by my Espresso Macchiato. To be clear, I'm not a Sally (When Harry Met Sally) my drink is on the menu, I order it through the Starbucks app, I make no changes it's not a special order....and yet, 50 percent of the time I'm handed a large sweet concoction. When I tell the employee that it is the wrong drink, I get the deer in the headlights look, I understand someone getting the two drinks mixed up, but most employees are completely confused, even when I explain it...then it's still often wrong. For those unfamiliar with an Espresso Macchiato, it's literally espresso shots with a dollop of foam, that's it, super simple. Anyway, you're probably wondering why I wrote a paragraph that sounds pretty negative, but still gave them 5 stars, the answer, customer service. I will go back to anyplace, no matter how many times they mess up my order, if the customer service is good. After discovering my drink was wrong, it had been made a second time and in the right cup, so I thought I was good. Unfortunately, I was wrong, I was also too far to go back to have it remade again. I called the store, Morgan answered right away, I asked to speak to someone about my drink order, she identified herself as the shift leader. I told her my whole story, she was super sweet about it, she didn't make me feel like some pain in the ass that was bitching about her drink. She told me to call her whenever I was able to come back and she'd get me another drink. I said it would be a couple of hours, she said that wasn't a problem she'd write my name down in case she wasn't around. When I called later, she again answered, she told me she'd have it all ready and asked if I'd like a pastry or anything else.
