The staff was refreshingly friendly at 6am and made my drink and food perfectly and pretty quickly despite all the mobile orders I could see them working on. June 14th around 3 pm, my 85 year old grandma was using the restroom and couldn't figure out how to lock the door so she didn't. Then an employee walked in on her, rolled her eyes and came out to the counter where she slammed paper towels down and yelled to the other employees and customers in the store, "why the **** can't people lock the door". I was born a woman always have been & I dress very obviously feminine & have soft features so unsure why Angela called me a guy & LAUGHED IN MY FACE. That's very offensive to female survivors. Ignoring her poor taste in humor, I tried to pay for my drink with a 100$ she said she doesn't have change & I told her I even called ahead to see if they had enough to break 100$. The slowest Starbucks I have ever been to! (I worked at Starbucks for 5 years) so I'm confused as to why they are so slow every time I go!

Over the last week of going here because I am celebrating the Olympics for a frappe per day, I noticed that the traffic here can be nuts. I think that is the only problem going on for this place. This results in longer wait times than usual. I could not help by putting my two cents in. The last time I went to Sonic, the one on Richmond Rd., I found that they had a sign that stated that drive thru orders should be kept to a single order. If one is ordering multiple, they would have to drive in a stall. It seems like the traffic backup in the drive thru is already making some people impatient as I see them parking and going inside. Why not have a sign that states this before getting into the drive thru? It would streamline the drive thru and solve the waiting problem (well, if one only had to order one order- drink and snack). read more

The cashier wanted to rush me even though there was no one waiting behind me. She seemed annoyed that I was making a decision. My husband's order a Chai tea latte, was made as a caramel latte. I come here at least twice a week for breakfast and I love it. There drinks are made perfect and there food and pastries are always fresh. The baristas are always friendly and helpful and I just love the homey feel to the place. read more

Stick to the drive thru. The time before tonight, I went through the drive thru and got a a green tea with whipped topping. The green tea tasted like some sort of green leaf smoothie, spinach or something. It just didn't taste right, but service was quick. Fast forward to tonight... I decided to go inside. Service was horrible! The baristas were in a rush and catered to the drive thru, while we were standing there waiting for our order to be taken. Then the girl who made my ice water and salted Carmel Frappuccino. Yelled out "Salted car....blah, blah". Seriously! I was sitting right in front of the counter and I couldn't understand exactly what it was that she yelled and rushed back to the drive thru. It turns out it was a mocha, not what I ordered, so I didn't touch it, but I knew it was mine because we were the only ones inside awaiting our order. A few minutes later she replaced what was incorrect and made what correct. I must say that the salt was perfect and it had just the right amount of sweet and salty combined. Don't expect any fancy, cursive, personal touch written on your cup at this Starbucks. I felt like I was lucky to be waited on. Where's your southern hospitality ladies?! At least they have free wifi though. I had to pay for wifi in the Bahamas, so I'll never take free wifi for granted again. read more

This is not my favorite Starbucks in Lexington, but seems to be the one I frequent the most based on its location to my destinations. Not only is the interior tiny, but the drive-though plus parking lot is incredibly confusing and a little bit hard to figure out the first or second time you are there. Drinks are OK. It's Starbucks. What more can you say? It's the most consistently overpriced coffee on planet earth yet I still seem to wind up here a couple times a week. In regards to this particular location there a few things to know. Free 56k speed wifi. Score! It's right near a Lowes and a Walmart. Makes for interesting people watching. I ended up going to Starbucks before work just to get their delicious banana nut bread. The lady who was helping told me how much it was and I gave her my debit card and guess what, she never "gave" it back..... she laid it someone on the counter and left it there. Three minutes had passed and I still was sitting in he drive through and finally I asked where my card was. They gave it back to me. I love coming to this Starbucks in the morning, the service is always fast and efficient. They're always busy but I expect that with them being next to the interstate. Have I gotten espresso on the side of my cup before? Yes. Did it ruin my day? No. My latte still tasted great, with the perfect head of foam on top. I'm pretty persnickety about foam on my lattes because like a beer, too much or too little foam makes a big difference. I always laugh when I see people order no foam lattes, just heat up milk at your house then, the foam is the point of steaming the milk :D I digress. Last visit was bacon Gouda caramel latte heaven. I will start by saying this...All Starbucks use the same coffees/mixes/teas, but not all Starbucks are created equally. This place is hit or miss for me to be honest. It takes great service and great product to make something consistent. Some days I get fast service with a perfect smiling barista, then others not so much. All chains have their consistency. This location has the quickest drive through and super nice staff. They have always gotten my order correct. Plus they will even fresh grind a pound of coffee beans for you, even if you are in the drive through. New food options are wonderful. Not cheap, but also not cheap ingredients. This is the Starbucks closest to my house and I've been there numerous times (at least twice a month). I'm giving it 2 stars because 9 times out of 10 they do not have the promotional and/or seasonal items the other Starbucks carry (as advertised on the Starbuck's website). Frequently this Starbucks will have items listed on the drive thru menu board but when you place the order you are told they are temporarily out of the item or they don't offer it altogether. This morning I drove to this Starbucks location with plans to order my husband and I a Butterscotch Latte. Placed the order at the drive thru and was told "we don't have it." How come they don't have it when all the other Lexington locations do have it? How come this Starbucks advertises savory folders (pepperoni, ham, and spinach) on their drive thru menu board, yet when you order you are lucky if they have 1 out of the 3 they supposedly offer? How come? It's not that they sold out, because they shouldn't sell out at 8:00 am in the freakin morning. Could it be that management, or somebody at this Starbucks location, just isn't on top of their game enough to keep in stock what is nationally advertised? Do they not realize how frustrating it is for a loyal customer to plan out their Starbucks breakfast, drive there, and then be informed "we're out" of every single item you drove there for in the first place? This is really your typical StarBucks (sometimes I wonder if people find value in reviews for StarBucks / Walmart / Target etc;). You come in here, you get pretty much an equal atmosphere to any other StarBucks in North America. I stopped here on my way to Knoxville TN, and was not disappointed by the 'pick me up' beverage (since I was driving from Detroit MI). This is a great and convenient location especially if heading out of town to the interstate. It's also a quick stop if you are traveling on I-75 It os consistently busy, but the drive thru is fast, without sacrificing drink quality.
