I came to this Starbucks a few times during my stay at the Marriott that it's inside of. There are tables and booths inside, and the usual grab and go snacks/beverages. The first time was around 11am on a Friday and there wasn't much of a line. I needed to purchase a water bottle and didn't have any problems. I also came back on a Saturday around 930am and the line was a little longer. I wanted to order the cold brew with pumpkin cold foam, but was informed that there was a 30minute wait on fresh cold brew. The woman taking my order was really nice, and said she could substitute iced coffee instead. She also upgraded my drink the a venti and only charged me for a tall. I really really appreciated this. A decent Starbucks, would recommend stopping at if in the area. read more

My reviews are usually the same for these types of corporate chains. For this one, we're in our Marriott in Louisville, KY. This large location is located in the hotel lobby off to the side and was busy in the morning, There were plenty of employees here and the line moved very quickly. They have the perfect blend of employees, customer service and a great product... The team in this location was FANTASTIC.... While I think the entire Starbucks Team is exceptional, I think this group just blends together perfectly. It's extra tough when you have a line all day with no break and everyone trying to get out as fast as possible O.K., enough Kudos... Lets talk coffee. I really enjoy the Pike Blend, their original coffee blend. Rich smooth and no bitterness at all. If this this doesn't keep you coming back for more, I'm not sure what will. I am also a big fan of their breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, bagels and muffins. Today was a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich. Great tasting sandwich a a perfect breakfast with my coffee. I am in Louisville on business, staying at the Omni where there is no Starbucks! After several days of Heine coffee in the market of the hotel and no good breakfast options because I start work early, I learned of this location in the Marriott just down the street! Despite all of the business people in town there was only a short line and my barista was delightful. They have several food items that we don't have in Chicago and I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast wrap that I tried. Normally I don't care for their food or they manage to burn the sandwiches, but this was actually good! No issues with my experience at all. read more

This is my Absolute FAVORITE Starbucks. It's located in the Marriot. It's close to my work so I usually go about 5 days a week. They have an amazing team! Haley, Jazz, Kian and Louisa. Either taking my order or being the Barista that makes my drink, they are always professional and on point. They all go out of their way. Whatever I order it is always delicious. They have a wonderful group morale over all whether they have a lobby full of people or if I'm the only one ordering. I definitely recommend and will definitely be going back! 10/10 read more

I just want to say I am appalled by the behavior demonstrated by the staff here. After standing at the counter for at least 2 minutes, It was only because I said good morning that they started to pay attention and serve me. It wasn't because they were distracted though, they were blatantly looking at me and just didn't move to take my order. After my order was made, the women nearly threw to drank on me trying to hand it over so harshly. I've worked in the customer service industry myself so I know how it is and how it should be. This behavior is abhorrent. read more

A hotel full of dance moms and fencers at the convention center... despite this the line MOVED, even when it was like 10 people deep. The staff was helpful, courteous, and competent. I truly appreciated this place every morning to get my fix to get through the day. I was a little sad (and why they lose a star) because they do close early (3ish). I would hit my slump around 3pm and would have to go find a different place for coffee. read more

Not the best experience. Was cash only for some reason, unfriendly staff, waited over 10min for 1 black cup of coffee and then the last half of my coffee was not drinkable, full of coffee grounds. Was staying at the Marriott for an entire week, never returned. read more

I looked on yelp for a coffee shop that was open near the Marriott and the nearest one was a few blocks away. As I headed to the lobby and out the side door, I saw that they have a Starbucks right inside the building. Oh yelp. It was right there, but you were going to lead me .5 miles away to another location. I felt I needed to post it, just in case anyone else needs some close-by coffee. So I grabbed some breakfast items, a coffee and chai latte and headed back to the room without even having to leave the building at all. read more

This is one of the only reliably-open and easy-to-access Starbucks on a Sunday morning in downtown Louisville. Service was quick, coffee as you'd expect for a Starbucks. My only quibble was that we had to pull raw sugar out from the stock under the bar ourselves. With 3 staffers on duty on a relatively quite early Sunday morning, someone should be assigned to keep the bar stock up. read more

This is the second time I've spent a week in this hotel and visiting this Starbucks daily. Every morning they pretend they don't see you standing there until a few minutes after 6am. Not a big issue since they open at 6am. This morning though when I went down after 6am, I was told that they didn't open until 0630 today. I asked why, and he said they didn't have enough help. That's when I noticed he was pouring black coffee. I think to myself "perfect, that's all I was going to order anyhow". So I ask if I can just get a cup of black coffee, and he says sorry I don't have access to the register. "I would have been happy to pay cash" But wasn't given the option. read more

This is the cafe within the Marriott hotel near the Yum! Center, NOT on Fourth Street in the Convention Center. Therefore: 1) Best kept secret for people who work on the East side of Main Street. This place is NEVER busy. Did you even know it was here?! 2) They serve Starbucks coffee (including lattes) but the hours are WAY different. Don't come here after 11am or you will be disappointed. 3 stars. 3) Pretty sure they serve beer and pizza after 6pm, so.. That's cool. 4 stars. Remember: there is no exterior entrance directly to the cafe unless you have a hotel key card. Enter on 2nd Street through the Marriott and walk through the lobby to the cafe. Well done, Secret Cafe. Here in Louisville for business. This is the closest Starbucks to my hotel. Came here one day for an iced coffee asked for a venti iced coffee with light cream - it looked like milk. I was in a rush blew it off and took it with me. Got to my meeting and had to throw the whole thing away because it was so gross. Called and was told to speak to a lady that I thought I heard as Hannah? She told me to come in today to get another one. So I get here I tell them who I spoke to and the lady was unfriendly. Rude as can be. Made me uncomfortable. Forgive me if I heard the name wrong??? She made my coffee and it STILL wasn't right. I'm trying to give grace but as she set my coffee down - wel slammed it down, she walked away from the counter. Horrible. If I could rate just her she would be a 0. Both experiences are not what I have ever experienced at a Starbucks. read more

I'm a Starbucks frequenter, and was disappointed when I order Chai Tea and got something full of coffee and no flavor. Don't get me wrong, I drink Starbucks coffee all the time, but it wasn't what I ordered. They were closing and I was headed out the door, and didn't notice until I got to the car 2 floors below. Ugh. The staff now is just terrible. Bitchy, snarky, RUDE - they talk to each other like they want to flip a table and murder everyone they are working with. Of course they also dont care who's listening - I was there with a line of about a dozen people and they are snapping at each other and rolling their eyes and did not care that all of us are standing right there. Like others have said, it's Starbucks so you know to expect with food and beverage options but I love that they have ample seating indoor and outdoor. I will walk from work past a Starbucks just to sit at this one, it's quiet, clean and has ample outlets. The service is very fast even with convention crowds and they honor starbucks gold member cards/discounts. They usually have a stack of "tell us about your service" cards in front of the cash register for you to do a survey and receive a free tall drink. read more
