I went to get my drink and they completely forgot about, another girl was there and it took then 3 workers just to get her order wrong for the 4th time. I have had bad experiences here before but this is the last straw. I am fluent in Spanish and heed the workers asking each other how to work the machines. Also, the workers were giving me and my friends dirty looks after we asked for a refund because we needed to go. would've given it a zero but it issnt a option. the workers there were absolutely horrible. I went there are ordered my drink they never got it right. there were 5 people that ordered after me and they got there drink before they even started mine. I ended up never getting my drink because I had to go because I have other things to do that way at a Starbucks for a hour just to get my drink bad. I kept reminding them and they never even started mine, while they had 3 people working on 1 drink. After I started complaining, they said they could not give em a refund and all they gave me was a piece of paper that said "next venti drink free" which could be easily forged. read more

It's a Starbucks located in a Target, convenient if you're planning on making a trip over for Target, but not so much if you're just coming for Starbucks. This location does accept Starbucks gold card and I believe it will redeem most rewards as well. I struggled a bit to pull up my Starbucks app to pay and was hesitating on what to order but the barista was somewhat accommodating. She went ahead to make my chai latte drink order while I contemplated about getting food. Since I came in the afternoon, the food pantry was a little empty, and not all the food options were available. I ended trying a ham croissant which was mediocre tasting. Even though it was warmed up, it didn't taste warm, granted I did wait some time to eat it after I got home. I was able to finish eating the whole thing since I was hungry, so it is edible at the very least. I'd stick to just getting a drink from this place and pass on the food options unless better ones become available in the future. read more

My wife and I stopped by Target to pick a couple things up on our way to Cross Plains, Wisconsin and I saw a Starbucks and a cartwheel offer for 25% off smoothies so I had to indulge. I ordered my smoothie and couldn't get my cartwheel app to connect, (pretty normal for the Cartwheel app), so the cashier used hers instead, which I appreciated. This Starbucks location offers the convenience of being located in a Target, but little else. The quality of the drinks is less than stellar and the seating area does not offer much in the way of ambiance. There also can be significant wait times during peak hours. read more

It was 11:15 a.m. Feb 25, 2020, when I went through the Target checkout with some household goods and decided to stop by the in-store Starbucks on the way to the car. I realize that these in-store Starbucks in Targets or Safeway stores and the like are different animals compared to regular stand-alone Starbucks cafes. This one seems to be in a race to the bottom for quality control and possibly untrained help, etc. Maybe it was some kind of language barrier, couldn't tell. Again these in-store Starbucks cafes probably have local store helpers wearing branded Starbucks uniforms, don't know, but I'd bet the help therein is not on the same benefit schedule as a regular Starbucks. Ordered 3 regular grande 16 oz. coffees with plenty of room for cream in all 3, and a carry caddie. Got 2 like that is all the cafe clerk heard, so we got another one. Got to the creamer area and there was very little space for cream in any of the 3 drinks, yep having to fill to the brim and dump a tad. My daughter and I thought the flavor was kind of meh, my wife's coffee was more appreciated back at the house about 3.4 miles away where we all had the coffee drinks. (I could only finish about 1/2 of mine, but that could have been me) So if it could go wrong it did go wrong, yes, yes, with all the problems in the world this is so first world and boo hoo and having the ability to complain. But even those instore Starbucks should have a reputation to uphold and yeah we as customers kind of expect some level of consistent service. If my wife did not like her coffee I'd easily go down to one star. Okay not the biggest or most egregious problem in the world, but I'll take my chances at the regular Starbucks stores around here in Madison, Wi. There's an instore Target Starbucks over in Fitchburg, Wi. 5-6 miles away where I've never had this problem with ordering or coffee flavor. Maybe this was just a training issue or something, please improve this Starbucks on Junction Rd in Madison inside Target. Okay, I'm off to find lesser problems now. :-) read more

So I was shopping at target grabbing a few items I had needed when I saw Starbucks had the zombie frappe I've seen it before and I heard great things so I figured why not and tried it little did I know it tasted like water and didn't look anything like what they had advertised I am very disappointed and will not be ordering from this location anymore What I expected and that was advertised was a gorgeous green beverage with pigmented purple whipped creme and some sort of strawberry drip What I got was a faded green beverage with practically white whip cream and was missing the strawberry drip i was very disappointed and my father was quite surprised to and please do not get me started on the service it was just unacceptable read more

This was my first visit to this particular Starbucks. The baristas were very friendly and competent. I was there for about an hour and half, and before I left I went up for a refill. Though there'd been many customers passing through during that time, the gentleman behind the counter remembered exactly what I'd ordered. There is more seating than I usually see in a Starbucks. Although I usually find coffee shops to be overly warm, this one was comfortably cool on a very hot day. The only distracting element of this visit was the behavior of some of the employees of the larger retail store in which this Starbucks is situated. They seemed to gather there for brief periods at the beginning or end of their shifts. There's was nothing super unprofessional, just some shouting and loud laughter that was startling and a little out of place. read more

The staffing at this location leaves much to be desired. I used to be a barista and normally will let things slide as I know there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes into a successful shop. But seriously, please support your employees. There was a line backed up to the grocery carts with just one poor person on staff. Drink was fine, customer service and cleanliness left a lot to be desired which makes sense due to the poor staffing decisions. read more

I've been here many times before and every time I come here the same man is working. This man is extremely rude to his coworkers, he watches them struggle and ignores them all the time. He is also very rude to the customers and when my friend asked for a reusable cup he rolled his eyes and sighed. Very convenient location within large retail store. Service is great, beverages are always spot on of what I order. My only concern is the cleanliness, but realize that most customers are coming or going into the large retail store and it's a hit or miss with tables and floors being clean. Unfortunately this location has been a total miss for me 90% of the time. My hubby and I used to watch for a certain barista there, who made drinks very well. But, after a while we didn't see her anymore and in her place there are a lot of employees who don't seem to know what they're doing. Our drinks have been made incorrectly here more often than they've been made right. And once you've ordered from this location, you better be ready to wait--getting your drinks takes forever here. As they say, "first world problems" indeed! But, honestly when you are paying that much for coffee, you expect it to be made well, served hot, and within a reasonable amount of time. This location does not do that. Save your time and money and hop over to the Fitchburg location instead if you're headed down that way. read more

I always enjoy my stop at this particular Starbucks when I am shopping at this retailer, especially when one barista is working-Kurt-He always makes my day. His customer service is spectacular, and his positive, polite, friendly attitude is contagious! :) Nikki is also incredibly friendly and so sweet....I am just plain happy when I stop and see their two faces working together! I often stop at this retailer just for Starbucks, and leave without shopping, knowing I get such fantastic service from this duo. :) read more
