The service is not great at this Starbucks. I had ordered ahead and had waited much longer than the estimated time. Yet the app still had not displayed that my order was ready. I finally went inside to find that two of my three items were on the counter, and my drink (tea w/oat milk) was still missing - the cup was on the counter next to a container of oat milk. Both of the workers that were present were busy, one taking orders at the register and the other sweeping the floor. I had to wait until a worker acknowledged me and then let him know that I was still waiting for a drink (one of the quickest to make) and then I finally got it (without the extra oat milk that I originally ordered). ‍ read more

I came here to study. It was noisy from the Spanish music playing the entire time I was here. The highschool children came in and boiy, did it get louder. This dining area is filthy. Spider webs behind the chairs near outlets. The floor was pretty dirty, I dare not put my bag on the floor. The armed chairs had papers stuck between them, since the are made of cloth material, they looked so filthy and dirty. I've worked in this area for 19 years and visited many times. This is the first time I used S B to study. To drown out the noise I have to blast my reading material on my headphones. I don't think I'll come back here even though their amenities are available. I stopped in this Starbucks yesterday and Caleb made two delicious hot mocha lattes and was very friendly. I was also considering buying a new "travel" cup for my mother. When I was having trouble figuring out how the lid worked to allow someone to drink the hot beverage as well as take the lid apart to clean it, Tim was extremely helpful and explained the process as well as demonstrated it using water from the sink. He also was patient when I asked follow-up questions about the dots now used to seal the opening of To-Go cups as well as the two cup cardboard holder. read more

Decent Starbucks for the location. The restrooms smell and are filthy. The area you put cream and sugar in your coffee was filthy and the garbage overflowing. Used to be my go to for studying and spending my time. The Staff have over the years have become less professional, polite and capable, this creates an environment that is awkward and disruptive. Orders for myself and other patrons, as I have witnessed are made incorrectly, are made out of order or take very long to be made. I have seen/heard the staff talking on the phone, shouting behind the counter, speaking inappropriately to customers, being loud and disruptive. Several times I have seen employees on the work phone go outside to the front patio area talking on what looks to be the store phone. The staff are also more disheveled and unkempt, its like they completely disregard themselves being in a public place serving people. I was a waitress for 10 years and I am shocked at how far down the rabbit hole this place has gone. I cannot work or want to spend money here like I used to. The wifi is also turned off to detour patrons and the music is constantly messed with the suit the needs of the staff...either nothing or blasting urban rap, which for a coffee place where there are students and people working is just inappropriate. Today a gentlemen behind the counter was shouting at a customer and complaining so loudly everyone in the place could hear him. Mobile ordered 25 minutes ahead, only one drink was ready. Asked if maybe the other had been taken, but was met with an attitude and no one would check. 10 more minutes and I just left. We moved from the city few months back and this starbucks location has been nothing short of a disaster. Me and my wife have same issues: slow service, inexperienced cashiers and no consistency on the drinks. Todays experience: walked in and ordered a small Coffee and a morning bun for my daughter as i tried to scan the app was not working so i told the cashier (Janet- i believe her name tag said) please heat up the bun till i restart the phone because your app is not working. 2 min later i walk to her and she starts the order from the beginning and did not heat the bun. Now, we are late for our gym class. Someone needs to train these kids or transfer them to the city locations for few weeks to wake them up! read more

I literally ordered a black iced coffee, and I've currently been waiting ten minutes and there was one other person in the store when I got here. I don't really understand how a store can be so inefficient. You'd be better off closing than running like this. * This is the slowest Starbucks in history. I bet my boyfriend that if I ordered when we left our apartment (near Palmer) to walk to this location on Boston Post my order still wouldn't be ready when we got there. Whenever I go there the service is really bad, they take forever to make things and have a lot of people working there but everyone is slacking off. I waited over 45 minutes for two drinks and a sandwich and when I got one drink after 20 minutes it was wrong. Long story short - it took an extraordinary amount of time to get my coffee; I wish i had timed it. The one barista looked like he was hustling and doing the best that he could, but the other 2 behind were chatting away at the other end of the counter (and no new customers were coming in). Now, it's possible that they're only trained on how to use the register, but the basic customer-service centric part of me thinks that they should have done something to help the barista expedite the orders. The coffee isn't worth the hassle. First off the parking lot rarely has any open spaces and is rather narrow. Cars line the sidewalk to make more parking spaces but further narrow the lot. Just not functional for a coffee place this popular. The interior of this shop is nice but usually quite busy so there is nowhere to sit. No matter how long the line is it seems to always take forever to place your order and then even more time to actually have your drink made. They don't have enough baristas working to make their lines move efficiently. I find that their coffee tastes burnt and unworthy of the hefty price tag. The food and baked goods seem to be decent, but don't let them fool you into thinking anything was made on site. I don't get all the hype surrounding this place. read more

The people who worked at this location today 10/30 @ 5:45pm did not take orders correctly nor was the coffee made right. I ordered a white chocolate mocha and was given foamed milk. I had to go back and ask them to make me the correct order i asked for. She girl attempted again and gave me yet another foamed milk only it had an even more weird taste...i think she used soy milk...which is not what i asked for....at this point i had no choice but to just leave and throw my coffee away because they clearly couldn't make a simple white chocolate mocha. An adequate Starbucks. Nothing to really rave or complain about. Staff are generally efficient and they have a decent selection of items to nosh on if you are hungry. The drinks are made well enough but I wouldn't say there's a lot of artistry or craftsmanship behind them. I stopped by around 7 p.m. tonight and they were busy taking inventory, with one person taking orders and also filling them. It wasn't very busy in there at the time - there might have been about six or seven people - so it wasn't like I had to wait for anything. Parking can sometimes be a challenge during the daytime when it's prime time for coffee and meet ups and when the other businesses in the strip are also open.
