This was the first time that I had gone to this Starbucks. I actually walked inside to use the restroom and snap some pictures of the layout. They were not busy inside at all. My wife was going through the drive-thru and she had about four cars in front of her. I use the restroom. I snapped some pictures and I thought that she would be closer to the front than what she was. And she had only moved approximately one car length. So they were moving very slowly in the drive-thru. If she had came in with me, I'm sure we would've gotten her coffees a lot sooner. So I walked to the back of the drive-through got in the car with my wife and it took us another 10 to 15 minutes to get our coffees. The point of the story I guess go ahead and go in. read more

This location has the sweetest, respectful and helpful night crew. I love Ava, Alana, Jaye & Maddie's work ethics. They make an awesome team and live up to the Starbucks name! They're extremely friendly and helpful with my drink recommendations. They kept the store nice and tidy and kept busy the whole time. Woke up this morning at 1 am for the Starbucks x Hello Kitty Collaboration Drop and was the first in line with my husband. We saw the openers come in around 3:30 am, and despite seeing the line of people who waited for these items, the two openers saved cups for themselves. I watched two girls took a handful of items to the back, and then move the other cups forward in an attempt to hide what they did. This is extremely unfair for not only the customers who were in line, but the other workers from that very store who were in line with me. I had gone into the store last night to ask about the drop. I saw a few of them again in the morning waiting in line like everyone else, and they told me about how they closed at midnight to finish the display, yet they didn't get a chance to get any of the cups they wanted because of the greedy openers. Last I remembered, it was a violation for workers to hold items for themselves; if they were allowed to, then the closers I was in line would've been able to get cups for themselves instead of waiting like the rest of us. *updated* Music way too loud! I have my headphones on noise cancelling mode and the music is STILL way too loud. I asked one of the baristas if she could lower the music a little but and she just said "no." in a very rude and inconsiderate way and turned her back to me. This barista is a white lady and was wearing a grey beanie and with a braid. I've come here to study before and the music usually isn't this loud. I'm very unhappy with this experience. I was planning on leaving and supporting a different Starbucks location but thanks to a gentlemen barista by the name of Steve or Steven, his positive and friendly character is the reason I give this location a second chance. Waited about 30 mins inside and still didn't get my drink order, asked for a refund and left. They were so busy and were excepting so many mobil orders and still kept taking orders inside. Ordered two drinks through mobile order and only one was ready when we got there. We spoke to the barista, Josh, and explained to him that the same issue happened when we ordered this limited edition coffee 2 days ago. He was rude and dismissive in spite of seeing our mobile order receipt. Another barista had to step in, checked our receipt, and made the order for us. She had to tell Josh that he should give the customer their order when they are clearly presenting a receipt. Please train your staff better. read more

Not being from Manteca and knowing where to go for small lot local roasters, I decided to venture into the Starbucks near the Field of Dreams complex. I guess officially it's the Spreckles Park Shopping Center, after the historic sugar company that began around 1916. There is a nice piece of journalism in the Eat Bay Times about the relationship between the City of Manteca and the Company. Anyway, back to the current...I was pleasantly surprised by the vibe from the crew. A ragtag crew of mixed ages and personalities that seem to "make it work". There was a young guy, a little aloof, but innocently enough to be partially charming and sincere in the grand scheme of things. The coffee was hot, the service was more than adequate and the lighting is excellent as there are large windows facing South and West that bring in a lot of natural light. Finally, the West side of the interior contains an extremely long family style table with enought room for 14 people to sit if you needed that many chairs for a meeting. Probably wouldn't be kosher to use up all their space but the possibiltiy is there. On a final note, the sugar and cream station is back up and running since there is a break in the epedemic mutations, so enjoy the ability to hand craft the sugar content to your exact specifications instead of having to ask for "2 cream and 2 sugar" and getting back a cup of syrupy mud because nobody knows WTF 2 and 2 really is in ratio to a well balanced cup of joe! Request: can we all socially keep a clean sugar and cream station for once where it doesn't look like a Brownfield Toxic Waste Site...Thank You! read more

We were the only car in drive thru. Took a long time to acknowledge us. Ordered three drinks. One of which was made wrong. Evie proceeded to take back to remove whip and dumped in new cup. When asked if this is a freshly made drink. She rolled her eyes told us to keep the drink. Once she gave us the new drink, she was very condescending and acted as if we inconvenienced her. We asked for the manager's name she wouldn't give it to us. The customer service was pitiful. I would never go back through here again. I can see why they only are rated 2.9 stars. Worst customer service - these baristas really choose who they want to make their orders for and in what order they want to regardless of when you placed your order - 12:39 : order was placed - 12:45 : walked in and decided to wait - 12:51 : when my order was ESTIMATED to be ready - 1:08 walked out When I walked in there were 3 people in line - you would think logically that my order would be made before them because I had already placed my order prior - nope. All 3 of those people got their order before me . Mind you this is a drive through location so all the drive through orders are also being fulfilled. I even went up and asked if my order was placed at the correct location and "George" said it was but proceeded for another 10 minutes to make other people's orders. Pretty good Starbucks if you are traveling to Great Wolf Lodge or somewhere else in the area. They interior is nice with plenty of seating. Staff is very efficient. I thoroughly enjoyed their pink drink, which had a well proportioned ratio for all the items mixed, and good amounts of dried strawberries. Possibly the worst Starbucks I've ever been to! Wow, so slow. Pre ordered went in and one breakfast item out of two was sat there. 10 min later the other appeared. Asked about our drinks and 30 min later we got them!! Rude staff...Ema was the first person I asked to check on my order. Then two other staff members. I asked how my order was coming out in batches, their response, we only have one coffee machine, to that I told her I had my coffee and the other was a refresher. I mean come on now! You put an order in TOGETHER, most expect it to come out TOGETHER!!! No customer service at all. I don't care how busy you are, dont be rude! just avoid this place. There were 11 people waiting for drinks, some gave up and lost the will to live and left!!! If you want cold food, delayed drinks and rude staff go here. If not, find yourself a Starbucks with manners and good customer service. And, yes there were about 8 staff so it wasn't down to lack of them. Drinks were not good, my daughters drink was made with the wrong milk and upset her stomach, so clearly they can't follow instructions either. I have been to this Starbucks plenty of times, mostly through the drive through. Sometimes this place can be packed if you come during peak hours. The last two times we were here, there was no wait at all and we received our drinks pretty quickly. The baristas are usually are friendly and we even have quick chats with them from time to time if it's not super busy. I have never had a problem with any of my drinks. They taste like they are supposed to, so I do recommend coming to this Starbucks location! Just watch out if you decide to come during peak hours, especially in the morning! read more

Don't come to this Starbucks. They will put coffee only half way in your drink and the rest whip cream. I get they are busy but I didn't pay $6.00 for whip cream. I took one drink out of this and looked and saw that my drink was already half done and realized that it was all whip cream from half way up. I would go back but I don't want to deal with the crowds and waiting another 30 minutes for the drink to be done right. Save your time and money and go to the Starbucks in Lathrop. I live about 30 minutes' walk from Stadium Center and I was returning something to Kohl's. I wanted something to drink and dreaded going into AM/PM again. I've had good luck at the Manteca Target Starbucks, probably because I work with them, even though I'm not a Starbucks kind of person. My previous experiences came to mind as I entered. It smelled awful. It's Starbucks. Either you love the smell or you hate it. My nose barely works but it's so obnoxious in their company stores. I took some time to look at the menu. Since they just changed seasons, I guessed that my latest drink probably wouldn't be there. When she asked, I replied "Medium Dragon Drink" because I'm obviously not a Starbucks person. "What size?" "Grrr...medium" I point my Starbucks app at her for the payment. She takes a moment and realizes that I'm trying to pay with it. She finishes and I wait further away. Do these stores never have an organized area for waiting? It took a while and everyone else got their drinks. "Oh, sir, what drink did you have?" "It was a Dragon Drink." "Oh, I'm so sorry. I put it in the wrong place." I wondered if that was my drink in the drive-up area. She apologized, which is good. It wasn't a horrible difference between the time the others got their drinks. So for starters this is by far the best starbz experience I've had lol i did a mobile order and messed up on it being hot or cold and CHRISTIAN was more then happy to make a new one. Also my daughters cake pop got melted a bit from being on someone else's food item and he gave her a couple for the inconvenience. But he has the sweetest attitude about everything super kind and the kind of people you WANT in customer service. His kindness definitely made my day so Thankyou Christian! This is my usual starbucks spot because it is so close to my place. The staff is super friendly and always so caring and do their best to meet all your needs. When I need my caffeine fix I love getting the salted cream cold foam cold brew, it has the strength of the cold brew with some sweetness from the cream. Highly recommend. Everyone who's tried it has lived it. I also try the iced coffee with peppermint and soy. I know this sounds odd but it is so satisfying and refreshing. If you're not in the mood for a coffee they have great iced teas and fruity drinks as well. My only issue is that it gets incredibly busy at times and the wait can be up to 20 min. There is also so much traffic in the parking lot around these times. So if it's packed you might want to go else where. read more

I've been around most of the Starbucks in Manteca and Lathrop Area..this is by far the slowest WiFi service I've been with.
