    Lavender matcha
    Carmen G.

Starbucks is a staple for many and this location at Denison and Woodbine is no different. It was a beautiful sunny spring day so as you can imagine everyone was out and about at their local Starbucks getting their caffeine fix. I was also one of those people. I went in with one intention though, of trying their matcha lavender drink since I've been hearing all the hype about it. The baristas and cash were great in taking my order quickly. Drinks came out at an okay speed, could've been a bit quicker but that's okay as there were many orders coming in through delivery platforms and irl. The matcha lavender drink is a must get and must try. Creamy delicious floral lavender foam ontop of your iced matcha drink? That is a huge yes! The flavors really do compliment each other very well and feels like a sip of spring. There's ample parking in the lot that is free. No drive through.

Holiday mug and peppermint hot chocolate

I came super early in the day for the holiday mug and there was only one other customer (with her mask underneath her mouth) inside. I paid for my holiday drink with the app, was given the holiday mug and the staff assisting me thanked me using my name. It was a nice touch. Even the barista finishing my drink wished me a good day. Customer service was top notch. I was in the store for under 5 minutes.

It's amazing that Starbucks continues to offer complimentary birthday drink. And they even offer it in the "Trenta" size...did you know that there was another larger size after "Venti"? With the free drink offer, I got the Dragon drink from their cold fruit drink menu...so refreshing with a blend of dragon fruit and creamy coconut flavours. I've also tried the Star drink before which also has a nice blend of starfruit, kiwi and coconut. Both drinks are really good but I much prefer the Dragon drink. Thank You Starbucks!

This is Starbucks is one of the only ones located around this area. There used to be one a little bit farther north in a Chapters which has now located to a Longo's but in terms of standalones, this might be your only choice. As such, it is a pretty popular one so you might find it light on seating with people studying and chatting away. I did use the restrooms here which were really clean and well stocked with toilet paper and soap. It's fall and they were innovating with some special fall drinks including a pumpkin cream cold brew. I'm a bit of a weird one and don't actually enjoy the pumpkin spiced latte that much, but this one was good! Just a hint of fall in my coffee.

I find, in life, you generally get what you pay for - and this is no exception. As each franchise has its own taste some hit some are off by some percentage. But It won't replace my day-to-day need of coffee Caffeine Starbucks Venti White Chocolate Mocha serve's the purpose! Freshly brewed great taste , but it's well worth splashing out on if I fancy some caffetine based, self-indulgence and luxury.

They have 6 different reserve coffees here!!! They have: Guatemala, Nicaragua, Brazil, Rwanda, Peru & caffe. They have the packages for sale as well! Quite happy that the food section does not have flies in it!! I got myself a lemonade with 2 pumps

I don't know why? Maybe it was a Sunny Sunday late afternoon...? But I found this is the most laid back Starbucks I been to... Just so quiet here... even people speaking softly.. the background music so soft...... So relaxing.. the sofa so comfy... I ended up taking a power nap here while sipping my coffee.......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... I thought caffeine suppose to wake me up, not putting me to sleep........

Just stepped out from Starbucks Very disappointed that I found a piece of wood from the egg bites..... Bad experience

Lots of space for people waiting for drinks and plenty of windows to allow the sun to shine in

The atmosphere is always very laid back and a great escape from the daily grind of work. The staff is always cheerful and have great suggestions if you are in one of the undecided moods. Plenty of seating and great barrista bar where you can chit chat while they craft their drinks

Staff always friendly, although they are often very busy they still manage to always ask for me name. How awesome are they?!. They have a nice patio which is good for business meet up. This is my go to place for friends meet up. I also love their coconut mocha fapp they are having right now!!

That level of care really comes through in the cup; you can taste the depth and intentionality in every sip. I ordered the vanilla bean iced latte, and it was easily one of the best espresso bases I've had in a while. The shot itself was rich and layered: deep, chocolatey, and nutty striking a really nice balance between bitterness and acidity. It finished with a smooth, almost creamy note that made the whole drink incredibly enjoyable. The only downside is the size-to-price ratio. At around CAD $8.50 for what felt like a 10 oz drink, it's definitely on the pricier side for something that goes down this easily. Still, I'd absolutely come back when I'm in the mood for a more premium coffee experience. (Funny note - the barista and I had a small rant together about how people order "iced cappuccino" and macchiato expecting Starbucks milk sugary drink instead of the "proper" shot with dollop of foam. I understand their pain hahah)

My cousin and I arrived shortly after opening on New Year's Eve. The cafe has a small interior with minimal seating, mostly bench seating along the wall with small round coffee tables. Even though there was only one barista working that morning, she was efficient at taking orders and making drinks despite several orders happening at once. We did not feel like we were waiting very long. I ordered a pour-over with the Finca El Paraiso Peach Colombian beans, which use a thermal shock washed process. That was something I had not heard of before. The tasting notes listed nectarine, tropical fruit, and caramel, and it was recommended since I was looking for something more out of the ordinary. I enjoyed the wilder flavor profile, but it was hard to fully appreciate because the coffee tasted overly diluted. The barista mentioned she used a 15g to 250g bean-to-water ratio, which is higher than how I normally enjoy my pour-overs. My cousin ordered a flat white with whole milk that was very creamy with strong espresso notes. We also ordered a matcha latte for my other cousin, which was apparently too creamy. Overall, the beans themselves were good, but the pour-over leaned watery for my personal preference. The bag of beans used for the pour-over was priced at $32, which is only a bit more than double the cost of the pour-over itself. In hindsight, I felt slightly ripped off and should have just bought the beans instead.

It's more like a roasting factory dedicated to perfecting coffee. I ordered a pot of hand-drip "Melona." The first sip wasn't particularly amazing. But it was very clean. Slowly, the clear fruity aromas of honeydew melon and cantaloupe emerged, not overpoweringly acidic, but rather a gentle, restrained layering. It's the kind of coffee you find yourself drinking the whole pot without even realizing it. The space inside is also a big plus. The front area displays various coffee beans and related products, and a whole wall of transparent glass allows you to see the roasting factory in operation behind it. And their product line is incredibly comprehensive: coffee beans, equipment, instant coffee, canned coffee, espresso, and even ice cream (The most complete I've ever seen) I didn't have time to try many beans today, but I'm already looking forward to the Lychee flavor I'll be ordering in a few weeks More suitable for coffee enthusiasts (especially pour-over lovers) Clean flavor with detail, not the overly pleasing type Perfect for sitting alone for a long time
