Starbucks - My Starbucks! - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Marrero, Louisiana

This Starbucks is usually on point for most of the time. I normally get the same thing, sometimes switch it up. Well today I tried the get my usual London fog tea latte (well my boyfriend did)and they tried to say they don't have it anymore which I don't believe since all the others do. But anyways, so they told my bf they had something real similar. And anyone that's had the London fog knows it's lavender and vanilla with earl grey tea. So he brings me home the tea they said was similar and I tried it. Literally was straight peach tea. Nothing added, no sugars, flavors, nothing. Just straight peaches. I don't know who's taste buds got messed up this morning but looks like I have to start making my own tea and coffee since starbucks and Mcdonalds have left me hangin. Ridiculous. Gave them two stars because the people are always nice when I go. But get your drinks right, don't tell someone that peaches tastes like lavender and vanilla cause it doesn't. read more

Terrible service. Just went through the drive-thru and they got my order wrong twice. What is complicated about a grande hot latte with skimmed milk and a grande iced coffee with regular milk and 3 Stevia? First time round I got 2 iced coffees. Second time 'round I got a hot vanilla latte. Of course by the time I discovered this error I was long gone. I can forgive the first mistake but I struggle with the second one. Always enjoy a treat from Starbucks although the prices are getting out of hand- I actually had a reward on my card and it was only good for 3 days- so people watch your free rewards because I honestly think they put them out for so little time they hope you don't see it and it would be lost! read more

There's nothing special about this Starbucks other than it is the only Starbucks location on the West Bank west of the Harvey Canal. All of the seats inside were taken by customers who appeared to be studying. I am glad my days of studying are long gone. We sat outside where there were plenty of seats. read more

That's like the only Starbucks in the vicinity, that's why all the problems I guess. I stopped by twice so far. First time the line in the drive-thru was so long that I decided to go in. Inside line was even bigger. I got a cup of coffee with a shot of espresso and it literally took them about 10 min to get it to me. The drive-thru line wait is always so ridiculous. Also, make sure you're ready with a second option for your drink or meal , because it seems like they're always out of something. I come to Starbucks waaaayyyyy more than I should. I know this location very well. The drive thru is always courteous and prompt but sometimes I like to go in. The restroom is ALWAYS DISGUSTING. I know these coffees are costly and I know Starbucks can afford a cleaning service to clean their facilities. Their baristas clearly do not think they get paid enough to keep a clean work environment. Not only was the restroom disgusting but so was the lobby. The floors had massive amounts of trash along with what looked like weeks of yuck built up on the floor. I'd love to offer my company as some relief. Please contact stellar cleaning services LLC if you need a professional to clean this place up. Now let me start on the baristas... there were some AWESOME workers about 6 months ago but now they are all young and worried about hanging out and how much fun it would be if they could get another of their friends to work here with them. OMG please split these people up! They do not get the job done well when they are busy talking about the weekend coming instead of listening to the order being placed through drive thru!! They definitely need a class on how to do your job and do less socializing. Bottom line, starbucks costs too much money to not be taken care of in a top notch manner! read more

My husband and I are frequent customers of this Starbucks location because we live nearby to it. We typically drink Starbucks anywhere we go due to the fact that they offer the specialty coffee drinks and we run into little to no problems when ordering. Unfortunately at this location, more often than not, we have to send the drink back because it's missing something we asked for. This is alarming because what if someone who was ordering a specialty drink made a certain way due to health issues such as diabetes and their request for sugar free sweetener was ignored? I've never ran into this issue so much at any other location that we have ordered from and hopefully the next time a barista repeats the order back, they actually make it the way they are saying it. read more

Their drive thru is super slow, even when I was the only car. I ordered, she made my drink, I payed, a few other cars came behind me and I sat in my car and stared at my drink on the counter for 5 minutes listening to this lady take orders from the other cars. Coffe is same as every other Starbucks which is good but. I have been to this one twice this week and both times the wait has been far too long for the number of people in front of me. 30 minutes in the drive through is too long for coffee. I won't be back for this reason. read more

I haven't always been one to write a review on an establishment, however I think that its important that the general public, as well as organization's understand the impacts of lack of customer service in brand loyalty. I hate to be one of those people that only leave a review when it is a bad one, in fact, I am typically more apt to sing someone's praises when it is a job well done. That being said, this review has been a long time coming so here it goes. I relocated back to New Orleans about 3 years ago and being that this is the closest Starbucks to me, it is the one I would frequent the most. About 2 years ago I stopped coming to this location and opted to travel to the Starbucks in Harvey, LA instead because 1) the customer service was not hospitable at all and 2) there seemed to be an infestation of flies everywhere. After being on a 2 year hiatus, only visiting the Marrero location seldom-ly, to my surprise when I returned a few weeks ago and began coming frequently throughout the week I realized that nothing had changed. The customer service is mediocre at best by most of the employees. There are a chosen few who are friendly, but they are far and few between unfortunately. Employees like Amanda and Garrett always greet with a smile, a couple of the other ladies as well (I don't know their names), but young women like Nigel never even smile as she's taking your order or interacting with the customer. I always wonder if she actually enjoys her job. No one is making you be here, so if you don't like working in this industry just quit. Not just the customer service, but there is also a Caucasian gentleman who was fixing my drink once and began scratching his head (hair) and rubbed his nose while standing there making people's drinks. I am an extreme germaphobe, so to witness this was mind-blowing to me due to the food safety and health concerns. Lastly, let me just say that this is my least favorite Starbucks I've ever been to, not just in the New Orleans Metropolitan area, but around the world. Even in Japan with a language barrier, the baristas smiled and nodded although they may or may not have had any idea about what I was talking about. My advice would be to drive right past this location and head for the Harvey location or the Elmwood which has quickly become my favorite. I will drive an extra 20-25 minutes to Elmwood (Harahan) to visit that Starbucks over the 5-minute drive it takes to get to the Marrero location. I am big on customer service and quality, and in my opinion Starbucks Marrero lacks significantly in both of these areas. My hope is that they will improve upon these areas in the near future. P.S. the flies have gotten better, but there are still several buzzing around your drinks and food, landing on your straws and whatnot. Totally annoying and nasty to say the least. read more

Honestly, 1 star is a lot for this team!!! I work not far from this locale and my drink is made incorrectly 99.7% of the time!!! I don't care if its drive thru, mobile order or walking in!
