Whoa, this is not you're typical Starbucks, this independently owned Starbucks is accessible only by walking through the casino (by design) which wouldn't be an issue if it was located near an entrance. After entering the casino there were no signs pointing the way, after winding through the rows of slot machines I finally got a glimpse of its location, as I walked up I noticed there weren't any customers which was a little surprising for a weekday morning and this being the only Starbucks around but facing a few hours of driving I was thankful. Now I admit I'm a pretty vanilla person when it comes to ordering anything at Starbucks, I have little interest in most of the strange concoctions offered at StarBucks so I try and keep it simple and was quite surprised to see the blank stares on the faces of the employees here when I placed my rather simple order " I'll have one Venti Quad No Foam Latte X-Hot w/2% Double Cupped no Sleeve no Stopper Reward Drink" - she simply replied we no do the reward.... After eagerly waiting about 10 minutes I was presented with my first cup of morning brew, having ordered and consumed hundreds of these I noticed it was lighter than usual. As I popped off the lid and threw the plastic stopper in the trash I noticed my latte was rather light in color and volume, they certainly understood what extra hot meant as I hurried to sleeve the single cup. Horrible customer service, I asked to not put water in my drink they charge more for not putting water on my drink than having the water put in ., Also they did not charge me for Ice but wait isn't Ice made with water? And spoke Mariana she is the Manager and told her staff to call police with trouble customers like myself !!! I never raised my voice nor did I get upset I was just asking why the charge !!! I always make a stop at this Starbucks when I'm coming back from St. George. It's the fastest off/on place in Mesquite. The Starbucks in the Virgin River Casino. It's a short walk through the casino which isn't that large. The Starbucks outlet is in the rear of the casino. Service is usually OK. Today it was a little less efficient because they were training a new person who didn't understand what a quad espresso was. I almost asked her for the cup and the marker and I'd put the correct numbers in the correct places on the cup. Oh well, it is Mesquite. Still worth a stop. read more

This Starbucks was the highlight of my drive from Denver to southern CA. I didn't realize it was in a casino until we got there and my husband made me go in as punishment (lol) but man... It was totally worth it. The Starbucks is to the back right of the casino so I got to behold all the patrons drinking and gambling at 7am on a Thursday. Let's just say I saw the sweetest mullet of my life. I got a nonfat latte, an Americano, and a breakfast sandwich. These ladies work hard! I was just driving thru and saw a Starbucks so we went into the casino to get our caffeine fix and some breakfast. Mariana was working the cashier and there was a long line of ppl. She was busy, efficient and very friendly through it all! She greeted every customer and moved with a sense of urgency to keep the line moving The woman making drinks didn't have a name tag on but she was also very kind and repeated my very complex order back to me as she handed over my drink. I wish the staff at every Starbucks was this amazing! My only complaint would be that I couldn't find the store number anywhere so I'm not 100% sure this is the right store. read more

As usual, before checking out of the Virgin River, we headed to Starbucks for coffee. We shared an Iced Caramel Machiatto. My coffee was overly sweet and I asked for the barista to re-make my coffee. The person I asked was fine with it but another barista turned to me with an attitude and said caramel machiatto is a sweet drink . I said that is fine, but mine is overly sweet. She turned away. Wish there was negative stars to post. If you are a non-smoker and want to smell like smoke all day then this place is for you. As a serious Starbucks drinker, I saw the sign on the Casino wall and thought I was in luck. 15 minutes later I ran out the back entrance without my drink as I was reeking of smoke. I had to find my way through the entire Casino while passing the few down and out sad patrons dropping their Social Security coins in the machines. Absolutely disgusting. Well after being on the road in the middle of nowhere for about a week I was excited to see this in the casino of the place we decided to stay the night. They don't have the same "feel" of a Starbucks it looks the same just doesn't have the vibe and friendly staff I am used to. Plus my regular drink I order all the time they tried to charge me more for the syrup she said something about if you had more than 6 pumps you got charged so I said OK never mind make it 6 then. I asked for the drink extra hot but it was luke warm and lacked the spice it usually does. This is a pretty standard starbucks but also the only one in Mesquite, NV. It can be a little tricky to find but it is inside the casino at Virgin River. They are probably trying to get you in the casino so you can lose more money. They have all the standard starbucks options. The only negative part of our experience here was that the cashier was so sleepy she forgot to make my drink but was able to charge me for it. read more

Rude lady worker messes up the other workers. Big lady Anya , she had hi-lites, couldn't get her full name because she started ignoring us ,doesnt even know what a Starbucks app is. Very sad. Located in the Virgin River casino which is filled with smoke and stuffy. If you don't mind inhaling while drinking coffee, you found your Starbucks. The only none casino Starbucks closed a couple of years ago. The Starbucks that used to be in the Casablanca is now called "Cup" which is basically a Starbucks. If you wanted a cup of coffee and/or latte that isn't located in a casino, may I suggest a place called "The Cup" (not to be confused with Cup in the Casablanca) located at 335 W Mesquite Blvd Suite B30 (next to Alberto's Taco). I just left this location and I felt inclined to write a review. The first employee greeted me and helped me right away. The employee at the register was wonderful. I was that annoying customer that didn't know what she wanted and he was very patient with me. Every employee I interacted with smiled back at me. This review is based on a few stops here during a short stay in Mesquite. I think this location gives us avid Starbucks visitors a slight advantage (no line!!!!!). I have been to mesquite many times and have stayed here. This Starbucks never serves my drink correctly and it's so slow when no one is around. I try to clarify myself and it always is served incorrectly. If there was another coffee house I would go there first.. This time some older cracked out hooker made off with my coffee so it took an hour for my damn coffee. If I didn't need the coffee I would of left but I needed it for the travel back home. Let me start by saying that I LOVE Starbucks. Love the coffee. Love the pastries. Love the app. I live in Mesquite and this is they only Starbucks but I never go to it because the location is horrible. I do not want to walk through a smokey casino for a coffee. I might consider it if the atmosphere was better but it was thrown alongside a wall with no separated seating area except for a few tables next to the cups for sale. The staff is not knowledgeable and they look confused when you try to pay with the iPhone app or use any of the specials offered via email by Starbucks. Wow, I have ordered the same drink 2 times a day for 3 years (at every Starbucks in Las Vegas). They made it wrong. It tasted totally different, and the woman making the drinks had the nerve to tell me it was right with attitude behind the comment. She did exactly what was said on the cup. Obviously, she did not.
