I visited this Starbucks today and am super impressed with the staff. The sweet lady who took my order was not only on top of her game, she was friendly. I was greeted with a REAL smile, not an "I have to smile at you because it's my job" smile. She took my order for my Grande Strawberry Green Iced Tea Infusion and it was ready in about 45 seconds. Fastest order I've ever received at any Starbucks. This Starbucks is located just outside Lakeside Mall on Causeway. It's in a little strip mall and has a drive thru. Big plus. Quaint location. Outside Lakeside Mall; can be see while on Causeway heading to or away from the north shore. Drive thru is good for Causeway Drivers; stick and move. Drop down, go into the the drive thru & back up & on the road. Nice outdoor seating for us SUNSHINERS that like to bask in the sun while sippingl on some Starbucking-goodness. This is a very nice Starbucks right outside the mall next to the red lobster! It's a drive thru store! There's no sign on the side of the building that says Starbucks so you could drive right pass it and not even know it! I prefer to go to this location before heading into the mall bc I hate waiting in that long line inside the mall. The baristas here are friendly and tries hard to make it right for every customer! The store is clean and smell clean. Plenty of seating areas including a community table and out door patios. Though lunch time gets pretty busy but that's what a community table is for! There are plugs available right under the actual community table. Don't look on the ground....it's right under the table. When you walk in, always walk towards the display of cups on the right side of the aisle and then around. During this COVID-19 pandemic, I have found this Starbucks location to be the best in the area for continued efficient service. They have become my favorite to go to. I frequent many of the locations in the area and this location is consistent in the quality of their drinks and the speed at which they can get thru a long drive-thru line. They have also been prudent in handling the way they hand out the items in the drive-thru window. Pretty much all of the baristas I have encountered there at the window have been friendly and diligent. Earlier this week, I had an opportunity to order inside. They had the tables marked accordingly as to where is open to sit and where isn't. There is also a small patio in front. We chose to sit there. There are about 3 umbrellas you can sit under out there. I will definitely be back! read more

This is my favorite Starbucks in Metairie so far. They have the new fall Apple drink with tons of types of milk, the people were nice, etc.

Drinks were good. I had to wait to be acknowledged by one of the 3 baristas. They saw me, but continued doing what they were doing before finally coming over and greeting me to take my order. I went in today for a coffee and saw a woman named Elizabeth almost yelling at a barista at the drive thru window. I could hear what she was saying despite being almost across the room, she had a disgusting and unfriendly attitude towards the barista saying "you always need to put the credit card machine out the window i've told everyone that multiple times". This barista she is talking too is always a joy to see, and is always so kind and genuine. I know 100% she never deserved this. I have a bad feeling about the way this starbucks runs because this isn't the first time i've seen this Elizabeth person acting this way with other coworkers. I'm over it! Typical Starbucks extremely slow and treat you like you're aggravating them by being there

This is a relatively new location in the area. Getting in and out can be tricky due to construction in the area. There is nice outdoor seating. The interior still smells new. The baristas seem nice, but the last time I came, one lady was instructing a new person on how to make a drink, evidently he has been making them incorrectly and she was getting frustrated. I can understand, and it was probably a good thing that it was a slow Sunday afternoon, and not in the middle of a rush. My order has never been made wrong, and I like the nice sleek lines of the counters, tables and chairs here. The drive thru line is clearly marked and separated, so there is no confusion about if you are in the line or not, and no way to cut in, which is nice. I am sure the kinks are still being worked out, it just doesn't seem like they are 100% yet. I am sure they will improve with time. I am so sure that being a barista is not the easiest job in the world, and pretty thankless. read more

Uness you were born on a different planet or raised by wolves, you know what Starbucks is all about. They're the originators of the overpriced coffee drink and have hooked millions of Americans on the fru fru mocha late hold up the drive thru line frapa drinko. But despite all that stuff, they are also incredible convenient and make getting an influx of caffeine pretty darn simple. This shop is brand new, and located on the outskirts of Lakeside Mall. Getting in to the drive thru is simple. There is a large computer screen at the ordering area so verifying your order is correct is simple. Be aware that they have a camera and can see you when you order. Don't be picking your nose or they'll know. Each time I visited this location I've used their drive thru. It moved pretty quickly and the employees were very friendly and helpful. Now for the pro tip for commuters: If you drive the Causeway daily you'll know that the right lane of Causeway Blvd. moves more quickly than the center lane. Stay in the right lane, turn right at 17th street and get in the Starbucks line. When you leave Starbucks exit on the side closest to 17th Street and you'll avoid all of the traffic and have a tasty beverage. You can thank me later. read more
