Date of visit: December 16, 2025 I had a little time to kill before picking up some food in the nearby Jersey Mike's and decided to do a little work on my laptop and enjoy a Peppermint Mocha while killing the time. The location is very small, so keep that in mind if you are trying to get a group together--a good dozen people would fill this place to the gills! There are not many tables for working, either, unfortunately. And on a cold winter day like the day I visited, the lack of vestibule definitely shows when the cold air flies in each time the door opens. But staff was very friendly and efficient and turned drinks around quickly. I also really liked the screen that showed the status of drinks--I can't recall ever seeing that before and thought it was a really nice touch. I go to this Starbucks intermittently and typically have an excellent experience. Since I live only a few minutes away, I usually place a mobile order on my way out the door. My order is always ready when I arrive and it's always correct. Staff is kind and courteous and pretty thoughtful as well. The beverages taste like all other Starbucks drinks, so the recipes are good. the ambiance is nice as well with nice area for sitting and doing work if you want to do that one afternoon. read more

I'm not one to review chains too often, because I feel like the standard is just a bit different, but here goes nothin: I actually really like this location. It's always well-kept and clean, and the staff here seem exceedingly friendly. I personally love when someone takes a second to smile at you and ask about your day, it just makes it more of a feel good experience! This morning, I ordered two cappuccinos from the comfort of my couch. The Starbucks app is super easy to use and really convenient, especially now when we're all trying to have as little contact as possible. It's a super quick drive from my place to this location and the drinks we're ready a few minutes after my arrival. The bummer is, this is the third time recently that my cup was only just over half full. I'm not sure if the foam just makes it seam full at first and then dissipates? Normally I'm not really bothered by things like this, but let's be honest, Starbucks isn't the cheapest cup of jo around, so I'd definitely appreciate getting what we pay for. Recently, in the last month, I have ordered ahead my PSL (yes, I'm a fan) a couple of times through the app. As we finish grocery shopping early (6:15ish am)--early birds that we are--at Pick and Save, I place my order and when I walk over there, my order is already there waiting for me on the counter. Yay! In the past, this has been one of my favorite Starbucks locations because it seams more spacious than the other ones around me, and has an overall nice, relaxed vibe. PSL lovers and (non-PSL fans), this may be a good quick order and pick-up spot as we keep social distancing. read more

Morning service at this location has gone so far downhill over the last month. I placed my mobile order before I leave the house and it takes about 10 minutes to get there. I've yet to arrive to a waiting order, when prior to a month ago, that almost never was the case. It's so disappointing. I've never had a serious problem with this starbucks location! It's always clean and I usually will order ahead through the app since there is no drive-thru. My drink is always correct and sometimes completed earlier than expected. Starbucks locations can be a hit or miss with having certain ingredients or having to wait for a long time so I'd have to rate this location as good as it usually isn't like that here! read more

This is the best Starbucks I've been to in a long time. They rarely run out of food, if they do it's because it's right before close. This Starbucks also has a lot of different cups, mugs, and coffee options for purchase. I'm obsessed with the watermelon / pink and green collection. I need to purchase one ASAP. It's a great place to study. Although the music is a little loud, but if you don't mind or have headphones it should not be an issue. 10/10 recommend this place read more

I dig this Starbucks. They are pretty darn solidly consistent in their drink-making and, when an order is incorrect, they are very quick to help correct it. It's such a popular location that it's almost always busy when I go but the staff seems to really bust their butts to make that line move quickly so it's actually one of the fastest I've come across. And, with online ordering through the mobile app, you can totally choose to bypass the morning rush on your way to work! In my opinion, it's not as "cozy" as some of the other Starbucks locations so I couldn't imagine really staying to enjoy a beverage but it's great for a nice "in and out" run. Seems the only Starbucks in Milwaukee that can properly make a pumpkin cream cold brew is the one on Odgen! So seasonably delicious!

I've only come to this location early in the morning, and I have nothing but great things to share! The staff is always super warm and welcoming, and there's never been more than a 5 minute wait, even when it's very busy. Usually there's a list of to-go orders that the staff has to attend to, but it never gets in the way of the customers in line in the store. On a few occasions, I've ordered some of the veggie breakfast options, but they've been out of them. The staff is always more than happy to try to make an accommodation as best as they can (given the food is pre-made) and I definitely appreciate it! It would definitely be understandable for them to just say sorry and that there's nothing they can do, but it's nice that they actively try to offer a replacement. If you're looking for tried and true coffee with great service, this is the place to go! read more

Even after the work hours are over, when I stopped in here at 5:30 PM it was still quite crowded. Same sort of Starbucks as always - coolers with drinks and sandwiches and pastries, baristas to make your drink, free wifi. There are tables outside. There is no drive-through. read more

My sister lives across the street. many of the people were busy on the computer and both of the employees were interested in taking my order. It was not to busy at the time 11:45. It did take a little longer than expected for a Med decaf but it was tasty. The interior seemed a little dark for reading a newspaper. This place is great for a college student like me to get some quality study time in. The staff are friendly and have yet to mess up my order, and I don't feel weird sitting at the tables for hours trying to write essays. As with every Starbucks, the music playing on the radio can be a little loud, so I usually bring headphones to listen to study music while I work. This place definitely has rush times, but after those are over, the general coffee sounds and people walking around make great background noise. As I mentioned the rush times, be warned, I mean rush. I have waited in a 25-minute line here before, but I usually don't mind since I come here on off days when I have nowhere else to be. 9/10, great place to be in general read more

I've visited this Starbucks location multiple times, and I always have a negative experience. Even with a mobile order, I wait 20-25 minutes. I understand that Starbucks gets busy, but other locations handle it and get orders out in a timely manner. The problem with this Starbucks, the only problem is that it's so popular. The staff is great, and the set up is good for the location, it's in a strip mall so there's only so much one can do. But there's always a line, rarely a choice of open seating, so it feels kind of cramped. It's not a relaxing place to leisurely sip coffee and enjoy companionship or get work done. read more

I purchased a brewed coffee using mobile ordering on may way into work. When I got to the store, I waited for my order and noticed the barista fidgeting with the lid to stay on the cup. I thought nothing of this at first until I started driving away and discovered that the cup was warped and creased down the side. I started sloshed and spilling coffee all over my center console of my car. I was fortunate that I had some napkins to stop the leaving and spilling until I got to work. As soon as I got to work, I reached to pick up the cup and it (literally) collapsed in my hands and 20oz's of coffee spilled all over the interior of my car. I reached out to Starbucks immediately, because I was going to have to get my car detailed to get the coffee out of my car's upholstery. I reached out to Starbucks who was uninterested in making me whole for the damage their defective product did to my car and the store manager at this location never followed up with me on this issue. As a result, I have cancelled my rewards account (which has been in gold since 2013) and I will never spend money at any Starbucks again as a result. read more

I really like this Starbucks! The staff make me feel like they value my patronage by going above and beyond to make sure my experience is perfect. One time I came here and had to wait an extremely long time in the drive thru. As a courtesy, they gave me a voucher for a free drink for any size. I've only had the opportunity to come inside only once and it was a very pleasant experience. The music was very relaxing and the volume was just right. This is the only Starbucks I've been to regularly that always manages to make my dark roast on point. Once I asked for one of their "roast of the day" blends, which I believe was the Sumatran blend. The barista told me that it had to be done by pour over since their brewer was being cleaned, and that it would take about five minutes before she even put the item into the point of sale machine. I was specifically told how long it would take and she even asked me if it would inconvenience me. The service! I had my pourover Sumatran and it was fantastic. Typically pretty busy since it's near MSOE and it's the only Starbucks (I think) on the Lower East Side. Service is still quick and very consistent. read more

As I arrived at the entrance, I noticed that the place was shut down for some kinda violation. One man's health violation is another man's peace and quiet. The rain started to pick up turning from a light drizzle to a heavy downpour. I decided to make my way over to a new place located on the corner named Starbucks. The front of the place had large windows with a green awning above the door with big white letters. A warm light enticed me in as a refuge from the cold wet air. At first I was offended by the number of suits and skirts in the joint but what right did I have to complain, I'm usually pretty well lit by 4pm in the afternoon. I made my way up to the counter when I saw a pair of legs that stopped me dead in my tracks. An angel straight from heaven sat before me, carefully typing away on her laptop. She was wearing a tightly fitted navy wool suit and shoulder length auburn hair. She paused from her work and met my unwavering gaze with a flicker of excitement in her eye. I know her kind. Dames like that look all buttoned up on the outside but are really looking for trouble underneath. Lucky for me, I'm lousy with trouble. I went up to the counter to order, thinking of that perfect angel sitting just a few feet away. The guy behind the counter wearing a freshly laundered black apron and looking a little too eager asked me what I would like. "Chum," I said, "there are only three things I take in the afternoon, a gimlet, strong coffee, and an unfiltered cigarette. In light of our current surrounding I think I better stick with the coffee." He asked me if I would like sugar or cream. "Buddy boy, I like my coffee black." I took the coffee and turned around to meet my mystery woman, but she had vanished, computer and all. If I know broads, and I do, she will be back. I decided to wait for her sipping my piping hot French roast coffee. After an hour, I had finished my brew and she had yet to be seen. I ordered another coffee and piece of banana bread. This time the coffee tasted much less soothing and overly bitter. The banana bread was mediocre. But I wasn't there for the food and drink. After another few hours the staff started closing up. They told me to get lost but in much more civilized words. Would I recommend Starbucks? Maybe. I don't know. It keeps the rain off you all right. But what do I know, I'm just a second rate private investigator. read more

The team at this Starbucks in particular is awesome. They consistently go out of their way to help you. I wanted to buy some of the glass cold cups, but they were sold out. One of the team members called a handful of local stores to locate the items I wanted, and even told me directions to get there. And when my brand new car decided to alert me of a brake system failure on my way to this Starbucks, and I spent the next hour sitting at the coffee bar on the phone with the car's customer service people, the barista gave me a coupon for a freebie on my next visit because "car troubles suck." THAT kind of 5 star customer service is why I love this place. And, free parking :) read more

I have driven past this place a couple times and totally missed it with all the other stores in the strip mall, stopped by the other day and think I may have a new work-location. I've been back a couple times in the last two weeks and enjoyed every time. The staff is chipper, even if you are getting coffee at 6am. I sat by the door and worked for a couple hours last week. They offered me a free sample of the chocolate-covered berries, which were very good! Plus, there were plenty of outlets to plug my computer into.
