Pulled up to the Starbucks and lights weren't even on in the drive thru. Couldn't even see where we were driving. The girl working the drive-thru cashier at 6:30 December 17th. Has no clue what she doing. We pulled up to get holiday gift cards. She brings us the basic cards because she "forgot". Then asks us again for the amounts for cards after telling her twice.. Then proceeds to tell us her register is not working and we need to COME INSIDE to get a gift card! I asked her what's the difference of us being in the drive thru and being inside.. She lost her words and started stuttering. So we went to Dunkin down the street and had NO ISSUES. Pathetic... I can only imagine how horrible she takes orders. Couldn't even sell gift cards. I'm a cold brew fanatic and I've been here twice between 7-10am within a week and they haven't had any cold brew. I know it takes 24 hours, but are the staff here that lazy that they can't prepare ahead of time? It's not rocket science!! They guy at the window with the beard has a bit of an attitude. I tried a new Starbucks location earlier this week. There is a drive thru but I had time so I wanted to go inside. It was very difficult to get into the parking lot. I finally found a parking spot so I went inside and I'm glad I did! The staff welcomed me as I walked in and the girl at the counter was friendly and professional. I placed my order and my drink was made perfectly and quickly. This Starbucks has a large seating area and everything inside was neat and organized. I would not go out of my way to get to this Statbucks but if I'm in the area and need an iced coffee--I would stop here! read more

I go to this location 5 days a week and absolutely love the staff. They call me by name, know my drink, and are super fast. I've hardly ever waited a long time even with the drive thru backed up into ALDI. Everyone is nice and friendly! read more

I love this Starbucks. I'm so glad they moved from across the street. The other location was too small with barely any seating. Not the case anymore. They have plenty of sitting and I like how they have booths on the backside of the wall. They still have nice and comfy chairs upfront. They are always friendly and fast at this location. (Patched together crew from the old location and the wash - Ogden local)... expect the same quality coffee as every sbux in the country and they won't give you the good ole eye roll for a pour over that most baristas are guilty of. Baristas are extremely loud and always laughing. They make fun of customers quite loudly too. Also, always understaffed especially in the front. In one instance, I had been waiting for over five minutes, watching the baristas run around, and this man casually walked up to order his coffee. When the barista was free, he helped the man who had been there for half a second while I was pushing seven minutes. Didn't think that was curteous. Overall, there are MUCH better Starbucks to visit that are only a few minutes away. Ones where the baristas actually care about you. read more

This location is right next to my office, so making a trip here during the day is pretty easy. Based on the set up with FedEx next door, it seems like this Starbucks is mainly meant to serve drive-thru. Parking is limited, but the drive-thru route is really functional. I've only been inside twice, but have been through the drive thru many times. Service here has been both very slow and very fast, a little unpredictable. BUT the baristas are always very friendly. You can definitely tell they're moving as quickly as possible. As a former Starbucks partner, I make a lot of weird customizations to my drink (which can get a bit annoying for the baristas). But they have always been very gracious about my requests. One really unfortunate aspect about Starbucks coverage (how many people are working at one time) is that this often drops to 2 or 3 people during non-peak hours. And on the current form of work assignments, one barista basically doesn't work with customers at all. From the customer's perspective (and I did experience this the two times I was inside this Starbucks), it seems like one barista is running drive-thru, the second barista is running the store alone, and one person is ignoring customers altogether. BUT I've experienced this at pretty much every Starbucks I've been to in the past year, so nothing specific to this location. The drinks are tasty. The baristas are friendly. Love. LOVE. This. Location. So I was a big Iroquois Starbucks fan because the staff was so absurdly awesome. And I was a big Diehl road Starbucks fan cuz it had a drive-thru. THEN they go and take the Iroquois peeps, add new and awesome peeps, and employ them AT A DRIVE THRU. Hell YES amigos. Espresso for everyone (well me. A lot. Two shots please)! This location is so awesome. They're fast, smart, polite, efficient, and so, SO friendly. Despite the cramped locale and parking lot o' doom, coming here makes me happier, and that's saying something. They absolutely never screw up a drink and often know who I am while I'm halfway through my order. I know it's silly, but it's really nice to frequent a business that still cares to know your name. I've actually written to corporate Starbucks to gush my admiration for these folks - that's how good they are (or how hopelessly addicted to caffeine I am, ya know, whichevs). We technically live closer to the Washington/Ogden location but eff all that when there's drive-thru convenience + awesome staff just a few blocks out of the way. Go here! Now! I've been a loyal customer to Starbucks for years. This store is the most convenient to hit on my way to work, but I will be happy to drive out of my way to not buy my drinks here any longer. The personality of the employees are fine; they're friendly and cheerful, but they consistently are stingy with ingredients and the drinks don't turn out well. I've noticed that some stores don't maintain their decaf machines well, and as a result the espresso doesn't pour correctly. This is one of those stores. You end up not getting full shots. When I asked if the shots were coming through all the way, they wanted to charge me extra for more shots. I just wanted the ones I paid for in the first place. Additionally, I've noticed in the last week the hot lattes I've ordered are mostly foam. I've even tried to request light and no foam, but they still put quite a bit in. I feel ridiculous writing this, but if a person spends $5 on a beverage, they should get the full amount of what they paid for. read more

My colleague and I were cut in line by a group of 3 women after we entered the establishment first. Their order was taken by a young lady who stated that she as the manager on duty. To avoid confrontation with another guest, my colleague and I allowed the group to complete their orders. When presented the opportunity to order my colleague stated that we were "cut in line" initially. The representative then stated "y'all should have worked that out among yourselves". She continued to defend herself by saying that, "When people come in, they cluster in the middle. How was I supposed to know who was here first?". My colleague responded with "You should have asked the way that you asked if all of their orders were together or separate". We were clearly in 2 different groups. Meanwhile, another female member of the staff stood adjacent to her disbelief. She seemed shocked and surprised at the manager's audacity to argue with a guest, especially in front of other guests. At this point, the seated guests and those entering were fully engaged. After the interaction continued without apology, my colleague stormed out. I was prepared to ignore the confrontation and place the order. As she headed out the door, the manager yelled loud enough for each guest in the establishment to hear, "Have you guys ever worked in retail before?! Exactly". I was so displeased with that last comment and her display of professionalism that decided to cancel all plans to make an order. Instead, I stayed behind to gather the manager's contact information. The young lady then shoved the card toward me and said, "Yeah, please call her". I felt provoked and challenged. We were left with no choice but to leave this location and visit the Starbucks in the Marriott on Diehl Road where we received terrific service from the only staff member present, Lauren. We have received good service from the Iroquois location in the past, and we would have liked to continue enjoying the luxury of the drive-thru for smaller orders. We even pass the Marriott location to get to this one! Our office is located on Diehl Road (Devry Online Services). The manager on duty did an excellent job of making us feel unwelcome and unappreciated, setting an example for the other members of staff and not offering great customer service by assuming responsibility. Based on this experience, I am prepared to recommend that anyone in this area simply visits the Marriott location on Diehl Road as opposed to the one on Iroquois. read more

I should know better than to patronize this location, because every time I do, the experience sucks. Last time, the drive through attendant held one of my items hostage until I gave him a tip. I refused and asked to see the manager, and he finally relented (probably after soiling the food item that was held hostage in some unspeakable manner). He didn't give me a chance to tip him of my own volition-something that I typically do. He instead insisted that I tip him before the transaction was complete. I ascribe this behavior to our lost generation of entitled, whiny Gen Y'ers who have accomplished nothing but want everything, and I fear for our country's future. This time, I politely asked that the drive through attendant dispose of my empty aluminum La Croix sparkling water can. She rudely refused, and sited some thing about health regulations. Now going through the drive through the interaction with employees is limited yet they still managed to come off as rude & impolite. This location is close to my office so I here A LOT! The staff is always friendly and personable. I am surprised they didn't pick a location to give them more space as it often seems a little cramped in here when a decent amount of people are staying in. I think they actually had more room in their previous location. That said, the fresh new decor and helpful staff make this one of my most frequented Starbucks. read more

Worst Starbucks in Naperville. I've never been inside but the 5 times I have gone through the drive-thru they have messed up my order. They do not listen when they take orders. My friend gets the same thing every time she goes, a decaf Venti Java Chip Frappuccino no whipped cream. They always repeat back "no whip" but put whip on anyway 3/5 times even if the receipt or tag says no whip. When I get Peppermint anything it always tastes like toothpaste. I love peppermint mocha and peppermint Frappuccino and they taste great at other Starbucks locations ... this one just messes up. I much prefer to go out of my way to the Starbucks on Diehl in Warrenville or the one on Naper Blvd and 75th in Naperville. They do get the tall black coffee right when I order one of those so maybe only go to this Starbucks for plain coffee? Just trying to end on a positive note. read more

What a terrible location for customer service! This morning I stopped in on my way to work to get a couple items for a coworker and myself. I ordered a grande iced vanilla coffee and then a tall decaf pumpkin spice frap with a cranberry orange scone. It was morning and so was a bit busy, as is to be expected, but after about fifteen customers are given their drinks I was presented with a tall mocha frap and when I said this wasn't what I ordered they proceed to inform me that they no longer have pumpkin spice. Perhaps the cashier should mention that they don't have certain drinks when a customer orders and pays, rather than wait until the customer maybe notices after receiving their drink. Do not assume that you can slip me a different drink because you failed to do your job correctly. I was then rudely asked "Are you waiting for something else?" and ten minutes later I am given my vanilla iced coffee. Overall I have never waited over 20 minutes for two drinks and a bakery item. I have also never been so rudely spoken to a Starbucks location when the cashier and baristas are clearly in the wrong. I think the sad part is there was nothing done to rectify the situation or make sure that I left feeling like they had done everything they could to sort everything out. In the past, the few times Starbucks has made mistakes on my orders they have offered to refund the order, given me a free drink coupon for a next visit, or at least issued an apology. I can honestly say that I will not be stopping at this location again. read more
