New Year's morning, 2020. Wonderful weather and my mother happen to be in town with me; less fun plan though I had to stop by the office and wrap up some year end stuff. I ordered two cup of coffee from my app and to pick up on my way to the office. At the Starbucks drive thro, the guy picked up the conversation has a cheering, gentle and welcoming voice. He politely helped checked their system but didn't found my order. Then I looked up from my phone and realized that i set it up at a different location, purely my fault! I got a little disappointed about myself and starting to think of something superstitious that I might have ruined the start of a promising 2020!!! I decided to let it go and ordered again. Anything bad will be gone with the order at the other location and I am a strong woman that I will never let a cup of coffee ruin my new year! However, he must have heard the disappointment from my voice though I tried to hide it. I was about to pay with my credit card at the window when he kindly told me that it is free of charge since I already ordered, regardless that I selected the wrong pick up location. I don't know if every startbucks would do so for wrong pick-up locations or if it is a generous favor to me on the new year's morning. On a rainy day, I visited this location to purchase a lavender drink for my mother. I had received a coupon code in my Starbucks app for a Grande drink and a sandwich or box for a total of $8. Here's what it takes, and here's what this location does right: - drinks always taste great - environment is clean - lots of options of seating with outlets - music not too loud/not too quiet - employees not being too rowdy I love the look inside this location and how they have plenty of tables in the front by the bright windows and the high top tables towards the back in the nook. FINALLY, a Starbucks I can hit up on my way to work, and not have to go out of my way for in the morning. On the down side of the things...the drive thru here was not well thought out. The way the stop signs are entering this strip mall, the over flow of traffic can cause back up in the strip mall traffic, and block those leaving the parking lot if they went in to the store. I've been relatively lucky at times not having a problem with all of that, but the potential for lots of vehicle problems IS there. I'm here probably 4 times a week at all different times of the day. The baristas are always incredibly nice and friendly and have never made a mistake on any of my orders. You can't see a line of 8 cars and not expect to wait. Every drink is made to order, it takes time. "It's slow when it's busy" is not a fair complaint. They are VERY SLOW here. I'm not sure if it's because they have new staff or what, but don't go here if you are in a hurry! I came here mid-day for a jolt of caffeine and had issues with the staff standing around talking to each other and their friends and not helping out me or any other paying customers. It was so frustrating! This is located in a busy part of the mall - there's a new Whole Foods nearby along with a gym and some other places, so the drive thru can get backed up.
