There is a "Contributor" (homeless person) that begs for money from every drive through customer post coffee order. I told the staff and they did nothing. It has been a couple of months... I guess Starbucks thinks this "Contributor" drives business to the coffee shop. Starbucks made the ambiance worse post remodel. There is only one spot to sit in that is comfortable. I guess they don't want you to stay and drink your cup of coffee. read more

We came in for our free tall coffee/ iced coffee Monday February 10 and our experience was brief but wonderful. Many staff greeted us and it was refreshing because sometimes no one notices or cares that you walk in the door , not just Starbucks but anywhere. So I have been here before throughout the years and it has been a hit or miss. This last time was a total hit. I decided to come to this location even though it was a bit out of the way from where I needed to go but not by much because the one closer to my destination has being a failure every time. The one on Charlotte. I ordered the same, a venti caramel Frappuccino and boy was my craving met with a cherry on top! The staff was super friendly and the drink was made almost to perfection, and when I say almost to perfection is that they need to remember that when you add an extra shot a few extra ice pieces should also be added to keep the slushy texture but it wasn't a pull of tasteless dirty water like the one they keep making at the Charlotte pike location. Other than that it was perfect! They did the extra caramel sauce all around the cup and I asked for no whipped cream this time so they added caramel on top but do not give me the awkward top that takes your caramel away so a win/win for me! Also, it took no time for them to roll the drive-thru cars so I wasn't there just waiting. I did not go inside this time but for the looks of it, the place still have plenty of tables for you to come in and work/meet or just enjoy your coffee. They have their parking even though big for the location, it is till limited so I bet it's packed at peak hours. read more

Out-of-towner here visiting for the first time. Fast service. We ordered via mobile to get BOGO drinks! This is a new and modern Starbucks that has a super-cool covered patio, plenty of seats inside, and a fun vibe. I wish the Maryland/DC area had patios like this one does. I'd be here all the time. 3.7 Stars! Drive through was quick. They made my friend's green matcha tea latte so hot - 130 degrees. Her tongue was burned! She had asked for it to be warm and children's temperature. I brought her latte back and the manager made her another latte at 100 degrees. She said if it was too hot that she would make another at a lower temperature. Great customer service! Despite my friend's tongue burn, I was very impressed at how they fixed the issue! read more

This Starbucks location is absolutely beautiful. I especially loved the outdoor seating area that had fans to keep you cool and chargers. There were plenty of seating options and charging location. The staff was ver courteous and the bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The only downside of this visit was that they were out of most food items. read more

On my way to Vanderbilt I stopped by this Starbucks location directly up the street from the school. It's the perfect spot to study, meet with friends or colleagues, or just relax and enjoy the scenery. I beat the early morning work crowd and was able to be in and out in minutes with an iced coffee in hand. The staff was very friendly and quick in taking and making orders. My favorite aspect of this Starbucks location is the outdoor seating, it's very upscale with a covered top and lots of table options. This would be a great place to work on projects on a nice day. I can deal with flies... we can't control them. I kindly let the (obvious) new barista know of the TWO dead flies in their food display case.... Shortly after, I overheard the manager (no name tag & a black t-shirt) saying something like, there's nothing they can do about the flies... as I'm coming back up to place another order... I told her, but you have the flies in your case. She RUDELY said, "I'm sorry,but there's nothing I can do about flies".. So, I told her.... They are dead! You have two dead flies. I know it happens. It's a BAD look, you should probably remove them.. Oh!!! I didn't realize they were dead.. I let her know, I told her barista, kindly.. I'd shed looked, she'd have noticed they were dead! I'd also asked why, she had such a rude tone? I'm just trying to help! She (matching the original rude tone), told me she didn't have one. She actually walked over to look at the case, after I'd told her they were dead to deal with it. I'm on vacation, now. At home or vacation.. I'm getting my Starbucks, 4-5 times a a week.. this was the worst service I'd received at a Starbucks. A couple dead flies, aren't a big deal.. but, when your customer kindly (and in a low voice) tells you about them, just do something about it. read more

The parking lot can be very congested due to the slow moving drive thru and it is frustrating that people stop traffic to wait to get in but that is because people are not willing to just walk inside to pick up their order... the outdoor patio at this location is what truly makes this Starbucks different and. I hate to say it because I've been to this location quite a bit over the last two years... It really declined about a year ago to maybe six months. They've improved a little since then, but not enough to make the rating average. You have about a 50/50 shot of your drink being made correctly. Today I got whole milk instead of soy and unfortunately I have lactose issues. That's not the first time that's happened. Sometimes you order something cold and it comes back hot. This is definitely a location where you need to stress the details and make sure you mentioned everything you want. They've been out of stock a lot in the last year. I think it's due to COVID and the fact that they're a popular location. The worst it's ever gotten is when I have to take the drinks from this location to Harding because they're just bad. There was one chai latte I swear was straight up just water and soy milk. Not my favorite location, but I think with the right team they have a lot of potential. Just wish I went in with certainty that I'd get the right thing every time (or almost, mistakes happen). read more

This place is a zoo at peak hours (Anytime from 6:30am-8:00am) and parking is VERY limited. However, they are efficient for being the 2nd busiest Starbucks in the ENTIRE state of Tennessee. Crazytown. If my car can fit in the drive-thru, I will get coffee here because they really do move along the line quickly, but I've also seen the line with people sitting on busy West End waiting to even get in line at Starbucks. No thanks. Overall, this place is fine if you don't want coffee during peak times. read more

This store is just about the same as any other Starbucks however they have an outdoor fireplace in the outdoor seating area. This is a plus! The girl who took my order was pleasant and quick filling my order. I give this location 3 stars because of what I mentioned above but I would have given it only 2 stars because the bathroom was just nasty. I understand I came in close to closing and the bathroom should be getting cleaned before closing but there is still no excuse for the mess the bathroom was. Besides being filthy there were no more paper towels to dry your hands with. I guess the male employees didn't notice. Maybe they don't wash their hands after they go to the restroom or maybe there weren't any males working tonight. I guess I will be back again sometime I just tend to judge "food" places by their bathroom's cleanliness and the staffs attitudes and the quality and taste of the food. So in conclusion, the staff was nice and competent, my coffee was what I expected and the cleanliness was well below par. I suppose 2 out of 3 is not bad but still not good enough. The thing is Starbucks is not my favorite coffee as they always over roast the beans making the coffee bitter. Only went as someone had given me a gift card so it was free. I'm a fan of Starbucks. I am a huge fan of the new feature in the Starbucks app for ordering ahead. You just order, go to the location, and get yours off the counter. Efficient. Here in #Nashville, a couple of local #Starbucks spots have AWFUL lot designs. Starbucks (West End) and Starbucks (Dominican). West End has a massive and dangerous drive-thru line sitting in the road all morning. Dominican has not nearly enough parking, creating a free-for-all need to invent solutions on the fly. Sometimes, this results in a cranky customer yelling at another, like I was yelled at this morning. Surely causing your customers to bicker was not part of the brand promise, Starcrack. This lot also has a dead-end into the oncoming drive-thru traffic, complicating the discovery of the lack of adequate space even more. (Starbucks Smyrna is also guilty of this one.) I realize the previous Councilwoman from my area of town is credited with securing the Starbucks (and neighboring Lexus) deal, but clearly the planning was poor. Kinda what you'd expect, given her reputation. I was actually going to take this issue on if I had run for Council, especially the West End part. So the question is, what are you guys gonna do about it?? read more

Great location, right next to Rumba. We came here to have a drink while waiting for Rumba to open. As I stood in line, noticed a fly inside the cake cabinet next to the counter. It was going to town, taking turns landing on all the cakes. I mentioned this to the cashier, who opened and closed the door to the cabinet several times. He did not reach in to try to get the fly out, and the fly ended up untouched and unbothered. The cashier walked away and started mopping the floor. I picked up my receipt from the printer as the buffoon cashier forgot to give it to me. However, my drink was good and satisfyingly cold. read more

This location is always very friendly and accommodating. However the last couple of times I've been and gotten a Pink Drink, it's looked like this. Sort of hard to see in the photo, but it's not mixed well such that the coconut milk is sort of floating in pieces inside the lemonade stuff. My first time visiting this Starbucks was 2006. I've been back a few times since (although my "home" Starbucks is a few miles down the road), and like what they've done with the outside seating (design wise). unfortunately, that outside seating has also become a sort of homeless camp. I don't mind being around homeless people in general, but when I am trying to enjoy the taste of my latte, but I'm instead being overwhelmed by the smell of fecal matter and urine, it isn't good. The drugged out behavior also was making some of the female clientele uncomfortable. I ended up retreating to my car to finish my drink. Sad what this place has become. read more

I was never a Starbucks person, but I always was asked to use this location to pick up drinks for coworkers about five years ago and would begrudgingly arrive at the drive thru line to wait for something I was not going to enjoy. And even though my times at this location were not my favorite use of time, I cannot recall a single bad experience. In fact, I can only think of times that they exceeded my expectations. So flash forward to now, I have found myself with a rapidly developing coffee addiction and have been using iced green as a catalyst for a positive attitude. This all began in Boston, where there were several local coffee shops conveniently located near my places of employment and apartment. Since I've been back I have found a huge disparity in places that have prepared green tea, so I find myself, again returning to this same location on the way to work. I've always been happy with my experiences, but it wasn't until I realized not all Starbucks are created equal, that I realized how impressive this location is. I don't know if they scout out the best employees from other Starbucks, the management is just top tier, or what, but this location is a well oiled machine. If I pull up and the drive through line is wrapped around the building, I know I'm still going to get exactly what I ordered, in a timely fashion, handed to me by an employee who values my business. I am impressed by and admire the staff here and want them to know that I appreciate their dedication. read more

Never fails. Every time I'm there the drive thru window line is insanity. But most times I wait and order the same thing a large unsweet green tea lemonade. The last 7 times I've been there. 5 times the order has been wrong. They charge for a GTL and I always receive a watered down green tea Today I decided to go inside. 8 people were working. This Starbucks location is the gold standard. I have been to many others in Nashville and in small towns and far bigger cities, and this West End location provides the friendliest and speediest service and most consistent quality. Have I gotten a wrong order once or twice in my history of going there at least 2x/week for years and years... yes, maybe so, but really... what do we expect, fellow Nashvillians, if our vehicles are lined up for a block and half on West End and we get thru the line in ten minutes. read more

I can honestly say that this is my favorite Starbucks in Nashville, if not, my favorite late-night coffee shop in town. While most shops close at 10 or 11pm, are dimly lit, have poor Wi-Fi capability, and blare loud music, this one is definitely a work-conducive environment. I come here quite a bit just to get work done late at night, and am always happy with my productivity level. On a downside, due to the location, it may be difficult to find parking at times (note: the neighboring back parking lot seems to be fine passed 9pm, when the other businesses close). As far as seating goes, I've rarely had issues finding a place to sit. The one time I did, I plopped myself right in front of the fireplace outside, and basked in the fiery heat. It was pure awesomeness. The bathroom, however, could use a little more upkeep. Tonight, I went in twice in the span of a few hours, and both times, the toilet paper roll was merely sitting atop the dispenser, not inside of it. I tried not to think of all the hands that grazed the toilet paper roll... (sigh). But at least the soap and paper towels were well stocked in order to have some level of sanitation. Other than that, the staff were friendly, helpful, and extremely service-oriented in getting your order to you as quick as possible. So far in the six months I've been in town, in my opinion, this is Nashville's best late-night work spot. read more

This is a busy fast moving Starbucks. There will be a line, it will move fast. The servers are adequately knowledgeable. Not the most, not the least. The food is fresh, sometimes they run out. There is parking, yet it is midtown, it is crowded. However in the am, you may consider mobile ordering or go thru drive thru. There are people asking for donations at the front and the back. Ironically on the weekend nights it is not to hard to find a place to sit or park. There is a fire pit in front when it gets chilly. Have ONLY had wonderful coffees and teas here. Lots of good seating and wifi. read more
