I've been to this spot a few times and love it. It's in a great location if you're doing some shopping! The food is thoughtfully made and the coffee is always so good. The vibe is bustling on a Saturday, but very chill in weekdays. There's always a few customers working on projects, locked in with some caffeination! My boyfriend and I decided to go to The Well for a light Saturday morning breakfast. We got a biscuit with jam, a blueberry bagel with cream cheese, the When Maple Met Clove coffee, and an iced Matcha Latte. Of all the things the biscuit with jam was probably my favorite. The biscuit was soft with a bite and the jam was clearly house made with pieces of actual blackberries in it. So yum! The bagel also felt very fresh and yummy. The best way to describe the coffee was that it reminded us of warmth, perfect for some cold weather. The matcha was good and a solid choice, but probably not what I will choose next time. It was fairly crowded when we went, but we were able to get a table really easily since they have seating both inside and outside. I really love their mission but the people aren't friendly and the coffee is SO inconsistent. I love Cuban lattes and the first time I had theirs, it was seriously the best cup of coffee I've ever had! Return visits not so much. The last time I went in it tasted burnt! This morning I tried again and even mentioned that it tasted burnt on my last visit. I asked her to please see if there is anything she could do to make sure that doesn't happen, but I got a burnt, stale-tasting cup of coffee once again. Parking is ample at the One Bellevue shopping center, and there are plenty of dining options if you aren't looking for a healthy bowl, wrap, salad, or pastry from The Well. Searing is varied depending on your company with traditional cafe seating for two, bar seats for one, four-person square tables. Staff are busy given the volume of people, but my coffee was out to me in a matter of minutes. I feel like I blinked, and they brought it out to me. Disappointed in the business practices recently implemented here. I typically come here ~once a month, have a $6 coffee and $8 toast, with a stay in one of the small rooms and then have another coffee and lunch, staying ~4 hours. Today, I walk in and notice the individual rooms, which are completely empty, are $20/hour rental! Also, there are no other tables open, they're all taken. So I either pay for the room, stand until someone leaves, or go elsewhere. I chose the latter. It seems to me The Well has forgotten their loyal, single customer. I have loved their mission but there are many other coffee shops with great missions....guess my patronage will be moving to one of these. read more

Excellent coffee for an even better cause. This is a hip coffee shop in a swanky area with a great menu... you'd never guess how much good you were doing by patronizing The Well! Proceeds of this nonprofit support clean water access. I tried the Well PSL, their chia pudding, a flavorful and fun Oatmeal muffin, and a Recess adaptogen soda- all solid, no complaints. The latte featured intricate latte art, and I liked that this blend had a distinctly pumpkin flavor along with the spices that constitute a PSL. The granola and chocolate chip mix brought crunch and sweetness to the chia pudding and fresh strawberries. The recess was a cool option- to me, they're a great alternative to cocktails. All that said, the top award, the A+, goes to their swoonworthy Cuban coffee. I requested it with milk. Sweet, rich, and expertly frothed, this was the best Cafe Cubano I've had outside of south Florida. The environment at the Well is bright and cheery with plenty of seating. The bathrooms are gender neutral and there is a baby changing table available. I also really appreciated that there were multiple hooks for hanging coats/laptop bags/purses in the restroom, and full mirrors. These are little conveniences that go a long way in my eyes, and are often overlooked. If you're in the Bellevue area, or even if you're not, make a trip to the Well and help the world gain access to clean water. Salud! read more

It's nice inside with plenty of seating. It has outdoor seating too. The restroom was clean too. . Drink . Cappuccino- I had a hard time choosing. I asked some questions and it helped me make my decision. My usual is a hot or ice black coffee. But then my tadtebud for the day was in a sweet mode because I had a banana pudding before coming. So I wanted something bitter to off set the tastebud. Cappuccino was a great choice. It was presented with a latte art. The price point was great. After having it I didn't think it was the best, but it was good for the moment. . If you find yourself in this area come give this place a try for some nice coffee. The atmosphere was nice, food was good and staff were kind. The coffee is the reason for 3 stars. My hot latte (and my husband's) was served lukewarm. I can't stand lukewarm coffee, and I feel this needs to be addressed. If they're going to serve lattes in mugs, they really need to heat up the mug so the coffee doesn't go cold. This place is good. The ice coffee is tasty and I didn't need to add sugar to it. I had lunch here. I ordered the turkey sandwich and I added the avocado. Definitely add the avocado. It makes the sandwich. The chips are good. The size of the sandwich was decent so it definitely will fill you for lunch. They give you the food in a to go bag but you can use their tables and dine-in. The have a few gluten free options too and a few sweet treats to choose from. They have a bog open space but limited seating due to Covid-19. They have outside seating as well but during cold weather could be a problem. They require a mask to enter but it can be removed after you seat down on a table. They also have a conference room that can be use for meetings. Didn't get info if you rent or if it's by free. They're also doing good things for others across the world with their business, so it's definitely about more than just coffee. The staff have been friendly, it's clean, welcoming and always seems to be a decent amount of people, although I haven't seen it so crowded that you can't find a place to sit. There's two extra rooms that you can reserve vs sit in the main lobby. On the positive side - the team that works at this location is always friendly, and the few times I've ordered food from them it's been tasty and fresh. It's always clean and comfortable. The (slightly) frustrating thing for me is that I have yet to get a coffee or tea that I've requested. For whatever reason, when I ask for something off their menu I end up getting something different all-together. For example, this morning I said I wanted one of their pour-over brews but was looking for the least acidic brew. They gave me a drip coffee (again, it's decent but not what I wanted or asked for). I was charged the lesser amount, but it's disappointing expecting one thing and receiving another. (I noticed that the pour over station didn't look to be set up, so...). Last week I had gone in asking for a large 4-espresso shot Americano - I received (and was charged for) a small 2-espresso shot Americano instead. I don't think I've ever had a beverage order come out correctly. I don't mind that they are a bit slower - it's a relaxed vibe, and I greatly appreciate the free-trade coffee. But I would suggest maybe they listen to what their customers are requesting (the line was so long this morning that I didn't want to make a fuss over the wrong coffee drink). read more

The Well is such a gem of Bellevue! They are local, with many other locations! I can't say enough amazing things about their staff. They are SO friendly, helpful, and know everything there is to know about coffee!! I've learned so much from them just by asking questions. They are so patient and take pride in their craft! Menu wise: Their seasonal coffee is always rotating which makes it fun to try new things. The eden bowl is my absolute favorite thing on their food menu! The vibes (inside and outside) are great!! Lots of natural light, open seating, and incredible swings/seating outside! I love working on my laptop there, taking my client there for meetings, and going on morning dates with my Hubby! I was thoroughly impressed with my visit to The Well. The coffee selection was great (drip, pour over, cold brew and other options) and the prices were fair. The loyalty program is a snap to sign up for and use--just get a text and reply and you're in earning points for your first purchase. It's also in a great location to kill some time before your movie starts at the AMC next door. And I really like that they donate ALL (really?) of their profits to charitable organizations. When we heard about what this place is all about, we put it on our "must try" list. They definitely didn't disappoint. When we walked in, we were greeted with a smile. We took a look at the menu, and my husband quickly recognized that they had his favorite thing on the menu: The Cuban Latte. I ordered a SuperFruit refresher for myself. While we waited on our order, we looked around at the modern interior. We noticed it's a great space to relax, meet, or work. They do offer free access to their WiFi as well. There was what appears to be a private meeting/conference hall available as well (we didn't get a good look at it, as it was occupied). A unique thing we noticed was a corner table with three MASSIVE Cold Drip towers sitting on it. This is the real deal for cold brew lovers. They also offer various coffee accessories, and their own merch as well. (We ended up getting a t-shirt and a glass cup!) On to our orders... It was a fairly hot day, so the Refresher was the PERFECT choice for me. It was not overly sweet, but incredibly delicious and satisfying. I could drink a pitcher of this! My husband said the Cuban was one of the smoothest and creamiest he has had. The only thing he was disappointed in was the size. (We are not sure if they offer multiple sizes, as it was not listed nor did they ask what size we'd like). The Latte was a little on the small size (maybe 4-6 ounces?). He was still very happy with it nonetheless. This is absolutely a MUST when visiting Bellevue. We absolutely LOVED it here, and are elated to know that we are helping support an amazing cause by bringing our business here.
