I see the express/pick-up line busy all day with customers popping in and out for their coffee, etc. Staff is super friendly and helpful. If I could rate this a 0, I would. They messed up my order 2 times and charged me for everything. The workers were very rude and couldn't hear anything I said. I preferred a small pumpkin spice latte and they gave me a large signature iced latte. So I ordered three coffees via mobile order. I waited the designating amount of time and went to pick it up. When I got there there was a bunch of coffees on the counter and I did not see mine right away. I thought it wasn't ready. I then saw two of my coffee so I grabbed them but I couldn't find the third coffee. I asked the lady working if she can help direct me to my name in the correct coffee. Because I did not want to touch all of them due to Covid reasons. She told me that I had to touch them and she didn't know where my coffee was if I wanted to find it I had to touch all the coffee's to figure it out. I really like this Starbucks. The ambiance is 100% on point as they have artsy lighting fixtures and furniture. There is also outdoor seating. The store itself is decently sized but it can get crowded (especially around lunch time...almost all tables can get full)...so ordering ahead is recommended if you're in a rush. I am new to the area and have come here every morning for the past week. Although my order is always a boring grande Iced black coffee, it is offered with a smile which makes the start of my day a pleasant experience. This Starbucks has a great atmosphere and the staff handles the orders as quick as they can. I do order ahead of time which makes things a little easier in the morning chaos. This is the best starbucks in the area to sit and stay at. There is plenty if seating with an outlet available below each table. There is plenty of comfortable and well lit seating compared to the ones in Gillette, Warren, Summit, and Westfield. It is also warmer for the most part (I never understood why starbucks are kept so cool). As usual they have free wifi and the connection is great. Last time I watched a show during my study break and it never paused to buffer. The baristas a friendly and competent. I've noticed that several of them have come from other local starbucks so it's not a bunch of newbies. This new store has definately come up with the most effective and efficient layout allowing space for lines and crowds. The store is very clean and and the decor is nuetral and appealing. The only warning that I have is that it can get very busy in the hour or so directly after the local middle and high schools get out. It's not quiet during that time if thats what your looking for. For me, its well worth it to go to this starbucks over all the other local ones. read more

Finally opened and they certainly add live to NP downtown. I do wish they have one of those drive through window especially for winter time so I can just roll out of bed and go. I don't have to review their drinks. Starbucks consistency is second to none. The seating area is nice and clean. Let's see if thy are able to maintain it that way. It does have the small town feel which I like. People greet each other and the attendants are pretty friendly. One area they can improve upon is to refill their condiments area regularly and refill so customers don't have to ask for them. Isn't that the whole point of having the condiments bar? read more

It's similar to other new Starbucks stores that have recently opened in the city and other areas. This Starbucks just opened in New Prov. (January 2014), and it's one of the best ones I've been to. It's extremely open, with PLENTY of leather seats and tables. They also have a few high tables. It may be one of the bigger shops I've been to, but it runs pretty smooth. No lines, no hold-ups. The coffee is great - delicious and lovely; no screw-ups, and the baristas were really nice. I registered the business on Yelp as soon as I came in, and hopefully, it works! The wifi is also WORKING. Too many Starbucks locations don't have a connection that's consistent. What's there to say about Starbucks that hasn't been said a million times before? It helps that it's right across the street from a Dunkin, for when you're buying coffee for multiple people and some run on Dunkin (Like myself). My recommendation is to try a Clover Brewed coffee. It'll run you around $4 for an iced grande. Don't you even think about adding sugar, flavoring, or milk. Drink it black, some of the best coffee you can get, outside of a legit specialty coffee place that roasts the beans themselves. Even still, they use pretty fresh beans, ground precisely, using the new Clover coffee brewer so each cup is made to order. It isn't coming out of one of those big containers that are brewed every so often. The Clover coffee is basically the only coffee I can say is worth $4 for a cup. I should add that the baristas here are great. They are all very pleasant, presentable, and I have not had a single issue with them making an incorrect order, even when ordering a few items (I have been here over 20 times since they opened). So now that the Starbucks App on the iPhone has updated, I would say they definitely deserve the quarter or dollar tip the app recommends. I normally grab my coffee and go before work or during lunch. However the interior is very nice and welcoming. Given the opportunity I would definitely bring a laptop and pretend to be writing a novel there for a few hours on a rainy Saturday. The only downside of them being fairly new in the area is I still have to give them my name for my drink :(. read more

If fact I had to leave without getting my latte because I can't be late to work. So I have no idea how long it took to make the latte. I've been going to this Starbucks location for a few years, but recently the staff has started pushing plastic straws on their customers. They either stick the straw in your cup before you pick up or they put them on top of the cup when handing to you. With plastics being environmentally harmful - and most people are aware of this - I think it's a bad practice and unnecessary. The straw bin is literally next to the cups on the counter and available at the cream station. I spoke with the manager (Lisa) who said it was a "new corporate policy" and that there "wasn't anything she could do about it." Well, I asked my husband about it and he said they don't do that in NYC. I just dropped him off at the Summit train station and went to Summit's Starbucks. They don't do that there either! (So much for the "corporate policy" Lisa). So I spoke with the Summit Starbucks' manager who said, "We don't do that because it would upset people." Yes it would and it does. I won't go back to the NP Starbucks unless they change that policy. read more

I have been a Gold Card Member for the last 2 years spending as much as $100/week at Starbucks locations around New Jersey. This Starbucks is beautiful, clean, and has plenty of seating. Unfortunately, the female manager with long black hair is very disrespectful, rude, and constantly talks about her staff negatively in front of customers. The newspapers are usually left outside when the store opens, so I don't purchase the Wall Street Journal there anymore. Once I showed up at 5:40am and the main entrance was locked. This particular manager was standing at the self serve bar restocking items and looked right at me and turned away to continue restocking items while I was forced to walk out in the rain to the other entrance to get in. I have complained to Starbucks more than once, but nothing is ever done. Yesterday (2/3/15) I arrived again at 5:40am and the store was completely dark. The milk man was waiting in the parking lot for over 45 minutes and said this is a constant problem with this location. For me, this was the final straw. I've decided to go across the street to the competition where the coffee might not be as good, but the customer service is excellent. I hope this location gets its act together and realizes if one person is complaining, there are others feeling the same way as I am. read more
