Came here randomly since we took the kids to the bouncy house that's right across this location. It was pretty quick since we were just picking up a drive thru order. The reason why I'm giving a one star is that the person at the window seems so rude when I asked for a cup with ice, she said I need to tell her at the window, I would understand if the store was super busy and that if there was a long line at the drive thru but it was quiet and there was only one car in front of us and there was no one behind either so I feel like there's no need to make that type of comment when it was super slow. People just need to be a little considerate and they need to put a little effort on their attitude towards costumer especially if the costumer is asking nicely. read more

I don't usually leave reviews, but this experience was honestly ridiculous. First off, they handed us a croissant upside down through the drive-thru, which immediately fell apart and landed all over the inside of my brand new, freshly cleaned car. No apology, no urgency--just attitude. It only got worse from there. We asked for a receipt and were ignored not once, not twice, but THREE times before they finally gave it to us, clearly annoyed that we even asked. Then the drink... I ordered a Venti, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it was basically half a cup of cold foam. Like, the first half of the drink was entirely foam. I politely asked if they could just add a little milk so it wasn't basically all foam, and instead of fixing it, I got a dirty look and was told I'd have to come inside. At that point, it wasn't even worth it anymore. The attitude, the lack of care, and the overall experience were just terrible. We ended up just leaving. The late day/night crew are abysmal. They often get orders wrong, laughing out back that they gave wrong fulfillments on purpose, which I observed while drinking a coffee they also prepared incorrectly. They smoke cigarettes and weed in the rear dumpster area. They harass patrons of other stores in the strip mall that walk or park nearby via the drive through speaker. got everything in my order. i ordered a venti shaken espresso, got the drink. Now I work at starbucks, i know how the drinks look when complete, and usually I would not care for a small issue, but when I order a shaken espresso, I expect it to be shaken. There were none of the visual indicators that are usually seen with the a shaken espresso and it didn't taste like the right amount of espresso was poured, maybe one three shots not four. I was really disappointed, especially given that it was not busy at all inside the store. read more

I finally got the manager to train the weekday staff on following a proper recipe; now if only I can get the weekend crew to do the same! I did call to make the request. No - I do not give my name to get a free drink. I just want them to train their staff to follow a simple recipe that is perfectly good everywhere else! And yes, I have previously confirmed that they under-pump the peppermint and overdo the milk to make the overall drink be underwhelming at best, and wholly undrinkable. It just tastes like flavorless warm milk with a splash of coffee. Doing this review in hopes someone will finally see it and do the right thing since I like having a local "drive thru" convenience. First time I've been to this location , I ordered a sausage egg and Cheese sandwich, croissant, a hot matcha latte and a caramel brûlée latte via mobile order to pick up in store. I got to the store about 5 minutes before it was supposed to be ready but I ended up waiting about 15-20 minutes after it was supposed to be ready. I had to check their pick up section because they weren't calling out all the names, only some. It was busy so I'll excuse a bit of an extra wait. But if theirs a name on the order they should call it out so that person knows it's ready. By the time I checked for the 3rd or 4th time about 20 minutes after my order was so supposed to be ready I saw my entire order there but by the time I actually got it, it was lukewarm because it had been sitting there. Also i overheard one of the other customers asking for their drink the employee he asked went to another employee to ask if they had made the drink that she gave to them. This second employee responded by saying they didn't know how to make that drink. So this customer was there before I was so he was waiting for a minimum of 20-25 minutes for a drink all because the employee who was supposed to make the drink didn't know how and didn't ask anyone else to tell them how to make it or to make it for them. read more

Great location, typically speedy service, but there's someone who works there with pink hair and they always seem to be in a bad mood. I feel bad for them but it makes me feel unwelcome and makes me not want to go back. When I rolled up to the window today they rolled their eyes at me and that led me to leave this review. Waited over 20 mins for a latte the last two times I've mobile ordered here. Use this location as a drive through ONLY. They must have served 30 cars within minutes of their ordering while I sat and waited for a mobile order both times. I needed to meet at a central area between Haverhill and Waltham and this Starbucks popped up. We stayed until closing and never felt pressured to leave. The staff is welcoming and the place overall was pretty clean granted it was the end of the day. This time I got a muffin and iced green tea unsweetened (one of my favorite go-to's). I never really order food from Starbucks but I was starving and needed a quick bite. Overall this spot is in a good location and a great meeting spot. No complaints, very comparable to other Starbucks. read more

I came by here once while visiting my dad in North Andover since it's the closest Starbucks with a drive-thru. Which probably explains why the line was so long and moved pretty slowly. I didn't have any issues with my order. However I purposefully came to a location with a drive-thru so I could get my dog a "puppaccino", a small cup of whipped creamed with a dog treat. When I asked the barista for one, she just handed me a small Milk Bone. I was confused but just drove away since the line was still long and I didn't want to hold it up. I ended up going inside to get the cup of whipped cream. There was a line in there too, and the inside is pretty small and cramped so I wasn't sure where to stand. Very unlikely I will come here again as there are Starbucks locations in both Andover and North Andover that are better. I'd rather just go into one of those. read more

This Starbucks on a regular basis fails to comply with the Corporate protocols that are in place. If you go through the drive through you miss it but each and every time I come in here I notice something different. Have you ever wondered why your Frappachino tastes different each time you get it? Well if you came in you would see they don't use the scoops that are made for the different sized drinks. They are up on the counter, well two of them are but they use a standard ice scooper and eyeball it. Then the tops to the blenders ( plastic enclosure) are non existent and I have no clue why. With another Starbucks close by either in Reading or Andover I would suggest those options. read more

This location makes the worst drinks ever. I have given it several chances, but it failed me every time. I drink Starbucks daily and only come here because I work in this neighborhood on Saturdays. Each drink at this location tastes differently than in other areas. It is wasting money every time I come here. Please avoid this location. Today I got an Iced Caramel Macchiato. Every time we come here, they always fail our orders. They always get our orders completely wrong. We asked for our butter croissant to be toasted, they hand it to us cold. Cold like it's been sitting inside the show case all day. I thought they didn't understand what I mean by "toasted" so the next time I came, instead of asking for it to be toasted, I said warm up. It still comes out cold. I really don't know why they are having such a difficult time warming up my fricken croissant. This had happened many times here. Same goes with our drinks, I asked for my iced white tea lemonade sweetened and like wise, they never make it sweet. This is my home town Starbucks and I'm here 3x a day with my gold member status..... But this location has many inexperienced baristas that get your coffee wrong a lot, pay more attention to drive through than store customers and are often under staffed. They also have limited seating, and no comfy chairs. It's a new location so I am hoping for the best. read more

This is a very small Starbucks, but their seating seems to maximize most of the space they have. The woman taking drive-through orders is always nice. The major issue I have with this location is that they are so often out of breakfast sandwiches in the morning. It takes quite a bit of time out of my commute to drive here and wait in line, so it's pretty disappointing to then be told they don't have what you came for. This is the closest Starbucks to me so I go here pretty much every day. I mobile order and they still manage to consistantly screw up my order. They forget the vanilla in my latte about 25% of the time. Last week they gave me a coconut milk latte when I ordered an iced vanilla latte. Dont know why they can't take time to read the label. I will agree that the staff are friendly and very nice but the service here is horrible. After today I will not return to this specific Starbucks. Each time I order something, its wrong, it has to be repeated multiple times or the barista has no idea what I am asking for. I honestly order a venti blonde roast w/ vanilla every morning, just like that. It amazes me how often its messed up or not the right. Today I ordered a blonde roast and when I got to the window, there was no blonde roast available so they offered me Pike, to which I accepted. When I got to my office and finally took a sip, it was dark roast with no vanilla in it as requested. I am over waiting 15-20 minutes in the drive thru or walk in just to have the wrong coffee every single time. I will not return to the Starbucks ever again. read more

I was excited when this location opened because it was only minutes away from work but now i think i might drive across town to another location because every time i order a drink 95% of the time the order is wrong and if i notice it and have them fix it they never offer coupons for holding me there longer while they correct the mistake. They are always out of stock of there coffee/tea products to make the drinks with. I don't see how this is possible when you need these items to run a coffee shop. read more

Was so happy when a starbucks opened in north reading. I drive by it on my way to work. The last three times I've got there I've been extremely disappointed. Once was they gave me the wrong coffee and the other two time I ordered a venti and the cup was only filled just over half way. So frustrating to pay for a venti and its more like a grande. Felt the need to write a review since the other reviews are so negative. We moved to town last February and since then I have gone to this location at least once daily, sometimes twice. I frequent the drive through since I have two young kids and love the friendliness of the staff at this location. Although I go at various times of the day since I work only part time many of the staff members remember my order as well as my husband's order. They also remember that we prefer to use the small straws with our venti iced coffee's even though they would normally serve them with a larger straw. The drive through can get busy at certain times of the day but the staff is always friendly and does there best to keep up with it. I have only gone inside a few times and the inside is smaller the many other locations, but the service has always been good. Before moving here I frequented another location which often messed up my drink or forgot about my order when inside the store. I appreciate the great service at this location. read more

It's great to have SBUX in North Reading. It feels like a "mini" SBUX. Community high top seating and only a few tables. Not alot of open space. The counter areas are tiny and cramped. The staff is very friendly and the service is good. Welcome to the neighborhood! read more

I am really shocked that a stand alone Starbucks of this size has such a large kitchen and prep area and hardly any seating. I have seen Starbucks wedged into many smaller locations of existing buildings with better seating. Also, there are five staff of duty this morning, and I am surprised the orders are being completed this slow. Perhaps because of all the "chit chat" that is going on among them and the "regulars"? Perhaps because they want to look "busy" so they don't have to address the numerous gosh darn alarms that are going off back behind the counter that they seem to not hear that makes the dining experience for patrons just "peachy." The place is clean, though, but frankly, the floor layout is really poor and way too many displays selling Starbucks crap taking up valuable indoor real estate. read more
