Starbucks Novi is warm and welcoming. They offer a calm atmosphere with seating to enjoy a chat with friends or to stay and study or work. The noise level is moderate and I like that the music is not overly loud. The coffee does not disappoint. I ordered a venti iced caramel macchiato with light ice and soy milk. I'm so happy there's no additional surcharge for soy milk anymore. This location has a drive through which is most convenient to grab a quick drink or snack. Julia was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly when taking my order. My drink was delicious! The parking is convenient and the West Oaks parking offers many additional spaces to park. This Starbucks location is convenient because it's located in one of my most frequented stores. Macy's! I usually order a spruced up drink recipe I've found online. This location gets crowded at times, but the workers are efficient and keep the line moving. read more

Your regular ol' mall Starbucks. Service is speedy but at peak times of the shopping season lines can be a bit intimidating. It's in the middle of the mall so it kind of floats in the little lounge area there. Not a ton by way of seating but there are a few two-three top tables there. It's best to take your beverage to go, though. Friendly service makes all the different, tho! read more

This is the mall Starbucks. So because this is the mall, it's almost always busy, but it's still one of my favorites in the area. The staff here is always friendly, and some of them try to make you feel like they remember you, which is what I like. This location is always running out of the popular stuff fast. So get it early before those dang teenagers get it on the weekends. read more

Parking is easy. Otherwise this is a pretty typical Starbucks. No surprises on the menu. Pricey drinks. Spent $18 on three coffees. They were ok, but just kind of standard. My Carmel macchiato was kind of burned, but I didn't feel like going back for another. read more

Manager was very rude. I called and told her I got hung up when I was calling about my watered down drinks. She replied with i was there, he said im sorry about that he was not being rude. I said I was talking and he hung up in my face. She said there was another customer in line. As that was more important then my phone call. I called back three times they ignored my call. Placed an app based order when I got to the mall and it was ready super quick!! The line was extremely long as is always expected at a mall Starbucks, but the mobile orders were done so quickly. I've been to this location twice, the first time they were nice enough and made my latte, however it was lukewarm when I got it. Disappointing, but I needed my Starbucks fix. Tonight, I went in to get another latte, while shopping and was planning to treat myself to a free birthday drink, complements of my star card. After ordering, they let me know that they do not participate with the star card, how disappointing. Customer service? So so both times. What have I learned? I can go across the street to the Starbucks there, get my drinks made to order, and get awesome customer service. I think next Time I just might. read more

Starbucks Barista STOLE my gift card balance! On May 8th, I stopped in the Starbucks inside Macy's and ordered a coffee. I paid with a Macy's gift card.There was $11.00 on that card. I returned the next day to get another coffee. When I tried to pay with that gift card, I was told there was a zero balance on that card. Of course with frustration, I asked to speak to the manager because I knew I had to have a balance on that card. The Starbucks manager looked at my receipt from the prior day and seemed unconcerned and said to take it up with Macy's customer service. The Macy's customer service person told me that the receipt shows the gift card being cashed out which means the Starbucks Barista kept my money!! BEWARE of paying with any cards at this location. I have been very impressed with how friendly and helpful the staff here have been whilst deluged with mall shoppers. Although at times I have had to wait for a specialty latte when I deviate from coffee, considering the volume of customers I think the wait is acceptable. I noticed another review mentioned the Starbucks near the Macys, and I thought I would point out that I have not visited that location because they do not have the smart phone application reader. read more

This location has to be THE worst managed Starbucks I have ever been to. Whoever the manager of this location should be ashamed of themselves. Not only were they understaffed for a Saturday morning AT A MALL. They had what I'm assuming is a new hire running the register. This place could be a gold mine. It already has all the foot traffic from being in the mall. It's a GD Starbucks. The only reason I gave it two stars was the barista making the drinks. Had the manager tell her right in front of everyone. After telling him kindly to tell the guy running the register to fix things while doing orders. He told her "just fix the mistakes and tell the customer you'll remake the drinks". I had to pick up my jaw off the ground. read more

I'm surprised to see 3 stars as the average rating here. I have been coming to this Starbucks for years. They are always friendly, get your order right and remember you by name. Now, I've had my share of seasonal employees who weren't invested, but the people that have been working here for a while like Lora, Svetlana, Laura and others whom I can't recall their names right now are very nice people. They are very efficient with the mobile order system and make up for it if you accidentally order something out of stock. They are hard working and polite! read more

Note to self - best to avoid a Starbucks in a mall kiosk. I think it is pretty much common sense to staff up a mall Starbucks during the holiday shopping season. Was sucked into this Starbucks in a moment of weakness. Noticed the line did not seem that bad but failed to notice the 20 people actually waiting for their order. Too late - I had already ordered and paid for my drink. After waiting for about 10 minutes I took a peak at my receipt and noticed the cashier rang up my order wrong. I approached the barista to ask that she tweak my order and she snapped at me that they were running behind. 20 more minutes and my drink was made. She corrected the mistake but by that point I was irritated beyond words. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

The worst, Worst Starbucks ever ! They never have blonde or dark roast ready ? They have to do pour over which doesn't taste like a Starbucks coffee. When i asked why they said lack of space this is lame excuse not even acceptable,because all other same size Starbucks does have Blonde or Dark roast anytime you request which is nice and fresh,except this location. Manager always mean and unpleasant. They don't do 50c refill if you walk away more than 10 feet away from location ??? Corporate office needs to handle this very seriously ! This is to one employee. Dear SB employee """Emma""", You need to work on your people skills. The quality of service provided by you was the worst I've gotten at any Starbucks I've been to from east to west coast USA. Not only did you overcharge on my drink, you also failed to understand the term "customer satisfaction" that Starbucks is so proud of. First of all, when my wife and I were placing an order, your tone and facial expressions were displayed with such horrible and an uncaring attitude. Professionalism = 0. Secondly, you completely ignored all the things my wife and I were saying about overcharging us on the drinks that were ordered (we do have proof of purchase of those same drinks at a different Starbucks, maybe, we can educate you on it someday). Last, but not least, you shouted obnoxiously in the same attitude to customers who ordered water? Like, if you didn't scream and have such an attitude, maybe that wouldn't have been the straw that broke the camel's back to write all this. I don't know if you were on your time of the month or if you're racist (since I did see you treat certain other races, like Caucasians, in a nicer manner, for the most part anyway), but that's never a great excuse to have such a negative and depressing attitude. In fact, you also acted as if we were in your way and wanted us gone, quickly!!! If you were going through some hard times in your personal life, I'm sorry to hear that, but then you shouldn't even be working in the meantime! Take some time off, like smart people do!!! Good customer service. Even though there can be one barista at times and dozens of people waiting, he is very fast and efficient at what he does (guy w/ beard). If they mess anything up, they give you a free drink for next time. Was confused when I tried loading my gift card onto my starbucks card and the manager on-duty said that doesn't work? It works at other places though which really confuses me. She gave me a free drink for the confusion, and another item free because they ran out of green tea. Friendly baristas. read more
