The other reviewers are right, this is the best Starbucks in the area. Obviously, it's because of the individuals that work there. Consistently cheerful, consistently efficient. Everyone that works at this Starbucks is super nice and down to earth.. Sometimes they aren't perfect on crafting your drink... They seem to go through employees pretty quickly since they all used to remember my order even through the drive through and now they don't... The Starbucks in Oaklawn is located near 95th street near the Metra train station, 250 feet apx from the Harris BMO Bank, a few blocks from Congressman Dan Lipinski's office and Freshline Foods to the West and Christ Hospital to the East and is a very nice cafe, clean, quiet, well kept atmosphere, friendly employees that are professional and knowledgeable and prices are average for Starbucks. Has items to buy like cups and food items as well, a nice variety and selection. Has bathrooms and free Wi Fi I believe. Tables and chairs as well. Seeing eye dogs are allowed. I strongly recommend along with the Starbucks located in the Jewel Osco in Marionette Park, IL. read more

I love horse flies harassing me while i try to enjoy my food and making friends with fruit flies in the bathroom! This Starbucks is the grossest Starbucks i have EVER been to ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. Love this starbucks. Reggie is our favorite barista. He is so friendly and so nice, plus very charming, he makes the best caramel fraps ever!! And the lemon loaf, omg, sinful. Every time I come to this Starbucks they always have the nicest and friendliest employees! It truly makes my day better when I go there and speak to one of them in the drive thru because they are genuinely caring and helpful. Terrible I went there in the morning yesterday I ordered a large triple mocha Frappuccino and I wanted the coffee in it because I wanted something to wake me up in the morning and the girl they did not put no coffee in it I was very disappointed. The other day I went there and I ordered a grande triple mocha and I had no time because I was in a hurry because I had to go to work and they gave me a medium one I paid for a large and they gave me a medium I mean nobody pays attention they don't give you the right thing I mean come on this is getting ridiculous you pay for stuff and you're not getting what you want terrible service just terrible terrible service nobody gives you what you want I'm not going to go to this one no more. This is the best Starbucks! The staff is always outstanding. I live in Chicago and I am surrounded by Starbucks on every corner but they don't compare to this one. Must be terrific management here. Typically I order a semi complicated coffee with shots and pumps. They always seem to get it right at this location. I believe if you want to order a custom coffee and know how it should really taste then go to this location. They are busy but don't seem to rush. They take time to make your coffee. Which is good because I pay $7+ for mine and at that price I would like to think it would be amazing coffee. Well at this store it is! Even if it wasn't the staff here is so friendly and actually cares. When I get my Starbucks craving I drive out of my way just to patronize this one because of how wonderful they are! Yesterday I waited in the drive thru for 25 minutes. I was stuck and would've driven away. The problem was the customer at the window who was trying to load her app...who does that at the window?? It wasn't working. I fault the customer and the worker because really the worker should've told her to get her lazy butt in the store. That particular Starbucks is in a very small strip mall and you can imagine the traffic when I tried to leave! We got one of our 3 drinks free which was little compared to my wait time! Honestly this is one of the only Starbucks I will go to because they don't mess up my drink. Due to being lactose intolerant, I order my lattes/coffees with almond milk. All other locations have served me dairy at least 3/7 times a week. This location hasn't messed up an order yet and I've been coming here daily for a very long time. Keep up the good work! read more

This is probably the smallest Starbucks with the smallest drive-through . The line wraps around the whole strip center and it literally takes 15 minutes and to get from the end of the line to the menu board. The last time I came to this location also I gave the cashier $20 bill and never received my change back! I know Starbucks is a chain and the coffee is pretty much the same at most locations, but the staff here is super friendly. I love the convenience of it being so close to the metra stop. The only downside is they can get really busy at certain times because of all the metra riders. read more

Go to THIS starbucks they have nice indoor and outdoor seating. It's a good place to talk biz or to just chill with another real person. I like it because of the train station that is right next to it. At night it is rather nice. It's right in the center of downtown Oak Lawn too so there is a lot of other stuff right around there like the O.L. library and Coldstone right across the street. I have been to this Starbucks a couple of times and although I'm not a huge coffee fan, the employees offer great service and a clean environment. It's always spotless when I go in there and it feels like home. The service is slow but they are a busy place so I am not very surprised. I'm very impatient as a person so the slow service is the main reason I give this Starbucks three stars. The employees are really friendly and love talking to the customers so that is a big plus! One incident that upset me recently was that they messed up my order but they were nice about it when I told them and they have me a little card for a free Starbucks drink next time I come.
