We were greeted by a sincerely cheerful young guy as we open the front door. Entering from a wood porch, of course. Junior's Mother & Father are directly behind him, clearly visible through a large plate glass window rolling dough and making magic. The son patiently guides us through all of what's left from this morning's fresh-baked offerings. Not surprisingly, more than half the treats are gone at 12:30 in the afternoon. Clearly the locals know a good thing. He advises us to come earlier next time - 8-9am - so we may choose anything baked fresh that day. We opted for way too many items and then sat out on the front porch enjoying a few tasty tidbits. Junior told us his parents are from Venezuela and Portugal. Gotta say these folks really know how to prepare delicious breads and pastries. We will most definitely go back. I love that they're open until 10 or 11pm too because honestly coffee is a necessity beyond the morning hours.
