I was waiting for my husband so I meandered over to the Starbucks across the parking lot from DMV. The folks there were very nice and helpful. I did think it was weird that on my order they spelled my name wrong when it is on my account but I'm cool with that. I really enjoyed my vanilla oatmilk steamer. Usually it comes with 4 pumps for a grande but I got 2 which made it plenty sweet. I also got a yogurt for breakfast. That is SO not worth the money. The amount of yogurt is minimal. It is mostly fruit jam on the bottom. I would like more yogurt and less jam as the vanilla bean yogurt is creamy and sweet enough. I did not eat the granola but it was the right amount. That is not the fault of the workers but Starbucks needs to know that they need to put more yogurt in the yogurt cup. I sat at the table and sadly it was not clean which was sad as it was 8:15 in the morning and not busy. read more

Came here immediately after not getting what I wanted from another nearby location. Let me just say, Swan was absolutely amazing. She apologized for the disappointment and took care of me right away. I got a dark roast pour over because the location I left stated they stopped brewing coffee at 11a. They also were out of chai tea which is what my Sister ordered. Okay, this is news to me because I've been told at other locations dark roast is not available after a certain time but how does a COFFEE SHOP stop brewing coffee altogether and it's still morning. I don't fall into the category but there are people who work late afternoon - evening. In either case, I had to leave a review for Swan who my Sister and I both thought was a manager just because of her pleasant, take charge attitude. We were able to tell she valued customer service. Honestly my favorite location by far in the area. Orders are made timely and to perfection. The baristas are always so friendly and welcoming, probably one of many reasons why I keep coming back. Vibe is chill, music selection is great, lobby is kept tidy and clean. My current obsession is the delicious pumpkin cream cheese muffin and of course the pumpkin spice latte all suggested by the baristas here. This branch is close to where I live and I'm so happy that this branch is full of friendly and accommodating crew. They make your requests happen. Coffee is strong and good. Worst service ever!! They need to hire better staff instead of people so hurried to clock out. There's this bald black man who messed up my order once and he looked at me because he knew he messed it up and then he just gave it to me and sped to the back and left so quickly. I was trying to get the attention of other staff and I kept getting ignored for about 5 minutes. Now, today, I am currently writing this review because I have been waiting for almost 30 MINUTES for a coffee cake. It shouldn't take 30 minutes to heat up a coffee cake. No greeting upon entry. Just awkward eye contact and a slight "yo, what-up" nod. Minus 2 stars. Plus 1 star for not being packed and available seating. Area was nicer than the railroad location too. I work at a very large company in Pittsburg and needed coffee service and pastries first thing in the morning for three days for visitors as well as staff (group of 25). All three days the coffee and pastries were ready to go every time I arrived. All I had to do was pay and go. They did a great job. This Starbucks location is not as close to my company as the one on California Ave. but I read great reviews on Yelp and I trusted they would come through for me and they definitely did! This is probably the best Starbucks I have found. It's a drive thru nestled right on the corner of Buchanan and Loveridge. The service is more like 10 stars! Lastly, their drinks are just simply tastier. The inside is fun, clean and cozy. I like to come here to chill with the kids or when I had it, to do some homework. The staff is so creative they made a sculpture out of SB supplies. Pretty niffty! This is now my primary SB's location since my house is just right down the sreet. read more

I have been coming here (Starbucks on Buchanan in Pittsburg) every day for, well, forever. Love the Manager - Alicia - personable, customer-service oriented, always has a smile. Staff has changed lately - new world order. I love my Starbucks, especially at 5:45 a.m.!! For the past couple of weeks, probably because we are on the same schedule, I get stuck behind a woman who has a dog in her car. Love dogs. Have one. He is my good son, as opposed to my human son, who can be a real pill - I digress! The staff pet and feed this dog, whom I'm sure has the highest level of hygiene a dog can have. Why am I writing this - because - and I have made mention of this to the staff - touching and feeding (by hand) that dog and then hopefully, (at the very least running your hands underwater) touching the lid of my coffee and handing it to me. I stopped in real quick before having to rush off to the airport. I asked for my usual black tea lemonade. I honestly don't remember how much sweetener my usual Starbucks store puts in so I had to kinda guess. I told the cashier that I wasn't sure because at my usual store, they knew who I was and it was like going to Cheers, "where every body knows your name." I usually leave it to the barista to make my drink with just the right amount of sweetener and just the right hint of lemonade. So, I had a hard time ordering but I told the barista to make it with as much of this and that as they'd like if the drink were for them. So, again, I would have NO clue what the ratios would be but I soon found that I didn't have to worry about that. It was made just right. Awesome! I was in and out in just a few moments. I have to admit, I was also really surprised at the number of people that came in to pick up the nitro brews and how many of them were served up for mobile order pick ups. read more

I've been coming to this Starbucks every week for the last 9 weeks. This is where my clinical group meets from 10am-3pm before we do health education at Stoneman Elementary School (down the street). There's plenty of tables/space for us to do our work, the coffee is always good and made quickly, and the staff is amazeballs! They're super friendly and a few remember our names since we're here every week :) They always offer recommendations when we want to try a new food/drink and sometimes they come around and offer samples. I just HAVE to write a review for this Starbucks since I live close to here. This Starbucks not only has great service, but they are CONSISTENT with being so awesome with their customer service. Each encounter is a pleasant one, regardless of who is serving me. One memorable employee is this guy who wore a bunch of pins that he had collected. And when I get my drinks, they never fuck up on my order! I'm soooo happy I live close to them. The wait when I'm there isn't too bad either. The line would look long at the drive thru but it's deceiving because it shortens quickly. There's out door seating and the ambiance inside is nice. It's a very clean Starbucks too. The staff is always on it when it comes to cleaning a mess. I wish this consistency was across all Starbucks. Keep up the great work staff!!! read more

I used to come here EVERYDAY and get the same drink a venti iced white chocolate mocha with a splash of cold brew! It's always the same girls working and they are ALL super friendly! Well this day I order my drink and it's a guy on the speaker who proceeds to tell me he can't make that drink for me because they have no way to ring up a splash of cold brew... I laugh and tell him I get this drink everyday and I've never had a problem. He then tells me he is the supervisor and he's not doing it because there's not button to ring it up. He argues with me for a few minutes and then tells me I can get an extra shot instead. So I ask him if he can just ring me up for an extra shot of espresso but give me cold brew. NOPE! Starbucks please tell me how this DWEEB is a supervisor?! Shouldn't you know how to ring up something extra if you are a supervisor?! Or add it to your register?! Not this guy! Sorry to the girls here that have to work with this arrogant cocky guy you guys call your supervisor!
