Today they charged me a dollar extra for no water and added extra base that I didn't even ask for She said that's the only way I can get my drink with. No water . Smh . This one star review is mainly for Starbucks corporate. Spilling hot coffee all over your car seat is certainly not a good way to start off the day. As I was lowering the cup into the cup holder, the lid detached from the cup. Splash, the car seat has just been redecorated. I think this can be avoided if the quality of the cup is more robust. It feels like the cup is getting more flimsy over time (maybe due to cost savings) and the lid doesn't fit well (comes off way too easily). Also, I think the barista needs to QC to make sure the lid is put on tight, but I don't think that would do much as the fit of the lid isn't good. This is a severe safety hazard and Starbucks needs to address it immediately. Also, thank you to one of the Starbucks employees for bringing a rag for me to clean up this mess! They baited me with a job opportunity only to find out that i was being used to train, new assistant managers in the hiring process. They are actively taking advantage of the fact that theres a huge unemployment rate and are using applicants as examples to train coworkers and give them "experience". They wasted my time and there gonna waste plenty of others time too, as they said at the end of the interview, "we are interviewing a-lot of applicants so we wont be able to let you know if you got the job or not until Friday" mind you i got interviewed on a Monday. They asked me incredibly stupid test questions that had nothing to do with being a barista. They just asked me these questions and wasted my time so their new assistant manager can have some "experience" so she could look good for her district manager, so she could get her promotion and own her own store. These people are selfish and Im upset for thinking i actually had a chance. Save your money especially in times like these, when corporations care more about the system instead of the people. read more

Apologies for the complaint knowing this location is a University Starbucks which many students stress during finals. But, I don't think I should be given less than what I paid for. This place is no good, the service from the front staff was kind. However, I order my usual Venti size drink but they gave me a Grande size drink. I ask softly and kindly if they can remake it because 70% of the cup was sea salt foam and I came when there was only 3 people in the store ordering. Which I thought it would be okay to ask them to remaking for it. But, the person (not the same person that took my order) who made me the drink said strongly and firmly that they weren't inform about it being Venti and could not fix it. Then continue to give me a venti cup without a lid to pour my Grande drink into to solve the problem. At this point I accept the situation and left with my drink. Disappointed with the end product, I went a couple minutes to the nearest Starbucks to order a drink. (Pomona & Temple location) I been here a couple times and realize each time I order from here the quality of the drink is declining. Now, if anyone reading this I would just recommend you guys just to spend 5 minutes to drive down to the nearest Starbucks and order from there because you'll get what you order at least. I would always mobile order here and they'd have me waiting at least 5-10 minutes AFTER the ready time. I thought mobile ordering was supposed to be quick?? And then they berate you if you happen to show up for one mobile order TWO minutes earlier than what your mobile order time was but then they have the audacity to give you the wrong drinks and bread? But if I berate them for being wrong I'm the a-hole customer right? I see a lot of mixed reviews, but I had a good experience here. My iced tea was fine. I stayed for a few hours (working) and easily got my free refills (Starbucks card/app perk). The servers were all pleasant and considering how busy it was, it wasn't an outrageously long wait to get my order. A lot of people come to either study or talk. There's music playing in the background, but I actually didn't mind it and preferred it to the silence of some other Starbucks locations. I was here from 10 am to about noon and there was a steady presence of people and activity. Something to keep in mind if you're looking for a quiet place to study at that time. I'll have to go back at a different time and try some other things to see if it's a different experience. But I anticipate it'll still be overall positive. read more

Starbucks employees literally never great you upon entering . They literally will stand in a circle talking and don't even acknowledge you exist . Every other Starbucks I go to will welcome you . I had saved up so many bottles in my car because I didn't want to just throw it away in the trash. I wanted to recycle, but put too many in the recycling bin. Then the worker tells me that they throw away the bottles as trash anyways. I asked her what was the point of sorting the bottles then. She replies "I don't know." I work down the street so this is my go-to Starbucks spot. It's on the corner which is convenient. There is also a Starbucks down the street but the parking their is always packed and the drive thru at this location is always fast!l even when there is a line. The staff here is super friendly! I've always noticed the screens when you order but the first time I've actually seen someone on the monitor which was so cool to experience. I didn't notice him at first because I never look at the screen but think it's so innovative. Everyone greets you so friendly which always make my morning. This Starbucks is located at the corner of Pomona Blvd. and Temple Ave. There is also a drive-thru if that is easier for you. Due to the location, parking is quite interesting. There are a few spots in front and there are other spots near other establishments. If I remember correctly, this location was remodeled within the past 2 years. Came here on a weekend to redeem an award, and drink came out exactly as ordered. No complaints from me. There are a few tables inside, but most were occupied on a weekend afternoon. I was having a bad day yesterday and decided to stop by for a AM pick me up with the seasonal pumpkin cold brew. Ordered my drink in the drive thru and the gentleman ringing me up at the window asked about my day and told me a bit about his. It's the little thing that makes a big different. He turned my frown upside down. On the side note, the drink was also on point, sweet pumpkin cream with a bitter aftertaste, just how I like my coffee. Love this location because it's near my work and the staff are always so nice. Wrong order and attitude. I order a caramel apple spice. Easy order, been on the menu for years. I drive down the road and try a sip and the thing tastes like coffee. I hate the taste of coffee so I get caramel apple spice to enjoy fall. I go back to the store and ask that they remake it and refund my card. The girl behind the counter could not have been less empathetic. She had short curly hair, random tattoos around both arms, and a look that can only say "how can I get you out of here faster?" When I asked for a refund this lady acted like I cracked the funniest joke in the world and even tried to embarrass me by saying "I looked at it, and it looks like a caramel apple spice" (it wasn't). So she did it all very condescendingly and told me to try the next one before I left (because she knew it would be the same). I tried the knew one and it was indeed the same wrong order. She then explained that they had a new drink called the caramel apple crisp macchiato and they sound similar (they don't). And again did not apologize or show any empathy in telling me "oh we're out of apple juice". So I didn't get my drink and I now know to avoid this business because it employs garbage people. Since about a week ago they have replaced employees or changed shifts during the day but service is crap now. The drinks are not being prepared correctly whatsoever. Same drinks I've been ordering for months are not the same. Even after having the drinks remade several times and "fixed" they are not being made the same. Highly unsatisfied. Another note, when asked to have the drink in a venti cup and topped off, they give you a 3/4 filled cup even though you asked to have the custom drink topped off in the venti cup. Every time I come here it's great. They're pretty fast here and they fill drinks to the very top (A lot of Starbucks don't do that). For the iced teas they also shake them a lot so they look like what they're supposed to look like- foam at the top. The employees are also friendly and ask if you need anything.
