The parking lot is big but busy. Fortunately, I quickly found a spot. The sign says, "2 Hour Parking Only - All Day." Staff is polite. Staff quickly took my order and answered my questions. My coffee took three minutes and 25 seconds. As mentioned, I ordered the Ube-Ube Coffee ($7). The caffeine is soft but uplifting. The drink is not bitter nor runny. However, the flavor of sugar and milk dominates the cup. It's not a memorable drink, but it's not bad. On ambiance, Outpost Coffee (Diamond Bar) felt a little worn down and old. The crevices were dusty and the location felt a little messy. There's about three electrical outlet. The location also has customer internet with password; details are posted on the counter. Fortunately, Outpost Coffee (Diamond Bar) has many clean tables. There's about six small interior tables, one long curved counter, and one very long table. The ceiling is tall, so the location didn't feel cramped. Overall, Outpost Coffee (Diamond Bar) is not bad. It feels shabbily maintained, but there's utility. Such a beautiful space with lots of natural lighting. It seems perfect for a nice catch-up over coffee or work session. For studying, although there are a bunch of seats, there's only three charging ports, so beware! Everyone who helped us was very kind and knowledgeable. We went in the early morning, and we were asking a bunch of questions They met us with kindness and they seemed to want us to have exactly what we wanted. For the star of da show: grapefruit tonic! This drink is incredibly nostalgic for me, as I used to have it all the time in Asia when I was in high school. I have not found a replica until now! The espresso pairs perfectly with the tonic and grapefruit. I love love love that a hint of the grapefruit's bitterness is preserved, and it is just such a well rounded drink. Food: 4/5 I ordered their iced matcha latte with signature foam top. The drink came out to around $7.50 or so. Pretty standard pricing for matcha and it tastes pretty good. Although i had only ordered the plain signature foam top i could taste a hint of banana flavor so im guessing the foam pitcher they used wasn't rinsed properly...? I also ordered a hot mocha latte with oat milk. Probably one of my favorite mocha lattes although the size of the drink is a bit disappointing considering the price. I used to love coming here when it was The Mugs. But somewhat recently they got new ownership. I always used to order a Rose Matcha. Unfortunately they didn't keep it on their menu like majority of the beverages, but they can add rose syrup if requested (old ownership added rose petals at the top). Hopefully they can add something similar one of these days to the menu ;) I also really love their croffles! They're a decent size and super soft. They melt in your mouth! The service is good. Everyone is friendly. Plenty of seating but gets packed quickly. However it is a little one the pricier side. I'd say .75 cents to a dollar more than most places. The place seems like a good cafe to get some work done at least at the time I went. I love natural lighting and considering this place has beautiful huge windows there is a lot of natural lighting! It was raining a lot recently so I was looking for a cafe to take shelter and get some work done. I stopped by Outpost Coffee on a Saturday at around 12:30 PM. It was really busy at the time with most of the parking spots being taken. After a brief wait to order, I was able to grab a seat at the window. This was a great seat to sit back, get some work done, and watch the rain with the natural lighting coming in as well. There was no outlet near my seat, otherwise it would have been perfect spot. For my order I got the pour over coffee. I really wanted to get a matcha croffle but they ran out at the time. Decided to grab the regular croffle instead. Since it was busy at the time, I was having a hard time hearing the staff call out my name for the order. Since it was a pour over, it took about 15 minutes for it to be ready. The croffle was not too sweet so it went well with the coffee; I do wish it could have been warm instead of cold. This store does have free WiFi. I've never been a regular anywhere but I've been coming here once a week. So, maybe not a regular but pretty consistent for someone who usually never visits the same cafe again. I tried the seasonal pumpkin spice drink a couple of weeks ago and it wasn't my favorite but I'm glad I tried it. It's one of the three seasonal drinks right now and while it had a good pumpkin flavor, it was too spice-forward. I think it's worth a try though, if you don't mind it having a strong nutmeg profile. However, last week I came back to try a few new drinks in addition to my favorite (the outpost latte). I was shocked by how good the Spanish latte was. The espresso was strong, but it was complemented well by the condensed milk and had a very smooth taste. It was also rich and creamy in the best way without being too sweet. I tried some of the blueberry matcha, but it wasn't my favorite for personal reasons since I usually prefer plain matcha lattes. I think they did a good job of making it with the right ratio, though, because I could taste the blueberry without it overpowering the matcha. Its pretty spacious inside but there were so many people there studying/working - which is pretty neat if you need a space for that. my husband tried the yuzu sparkler & it was so good. Outpost Coffee is such a great spot to study and unwind As soon as you walk in, you notice how spacious it is, with lots of people studying or working, but even when it's full it still manages to keep a calm, quiet ambiance. They also have a great variety of coffee drinks to choose from. I ordered the crème brûlée latte, and it was hands down the best choice for me--you still get that rich espresso flavor with just the right amount of sweetness, not overpowering at all. My boyfriend tried the banana latte, and it wasn't really his favorite after a while because the syrup tasted a bit artificial, but that could just come down to personal preference. I was greeted upon entry and then helped by another barista a few moments later. As I was typing in my phone number to sign up for rewards, they cleared out of my screen from their end so I didn't get a chance to sign up. Then when I selected to text my receipt to my phone number, they also cleared out my screen from their end so I couldn't get a text receipt. I had to ask if I can get a receipt.
