Not just the friendliness of the barista's but the atmosphere itself. When you are sitting inside and enjoying a drink there is sort of quiet atmosphere surrounding you. The customers are sitting enjoying their drinks while they read a good book or conversating with friends. The staff at Starbucks are well trained when it comes to customer service. The Baristas have great knowledge about what goes into each drink and they can easily change specific ingredients in your drink to your specific requirements. These staff members are eager to please any and all customers with any issues that may arise, which attests to their customer service abilities. This also plays apart in the environment in this establishment. Starbucks has many amenities that helps to attract customers. One of which is the ability to access the internet. I have noticed many students studying online at Starbucks. They feel comfortable enough to come in order a drink, and complete homework. Another amenity is the comfort that you feel when sitting on a comfortable couch or lounge chair. So many people come in to get away and relax. These types of amenities help Starbucks to attract all kinds of clientele. We cannot forget the main reason customers come to Starbucks. They are well known for all kinds of different coffee drinks. Anytime of the year is a goodtime to get something to drink at Starbucks. During the warm weather they have teas, ice coffees, and Frappuccino's. I cannot say enough good things about this starbucks. I go here for my usual and it is made right every time. The to go app and option at this location is amazing. My drink is always ready super fast. I went there this morning because a different starbucks made my drink wrong twice (thats what i get for going somewehere else, i know i know) i didnt have time for them to make a third and i came here and they took it and made it over for me the right way. I've lived in the Prescott/PV area for a long time and I hesitated to write a review but literally almost every time I go here (which is a lot) they seem to mess something up, whether it's a drink, a sandwich order, or their staff is just incompetent or rude. This morning I was in desperate need of a pick-me-up as I did not sleep well at all last night. So at 5:30am baby and I went to Starbucks ( drive-through.) I was pleased they had an apple fritter, but my drink... well my drink was SCORCHING HOT! Yes, too hot drink in the car. I had to pour it in a mug, once home, and wait. My tongue HURTS! And my drink is now just barely warm. Not a good experience this time. My advice; ask for your drink to not be too hot. Also, I was the only person at the window and the service was visibly SLOW. I was watching through the window. I mean why would they rinse a pitcher before serving me my food and drink?! Why make the costumer continue to wait?? Kinda frustrating and inconsiderate. read more

so today i came to starbucks at 3pm. line wasn't too crazy. i figured since i'm at starbucks i'll be in and out and i would make it in plenty of time to get to work at 3:30. mind you my workplace is 5 minutes away. well there were only 4 cars in front of me and it takes me 15 minutes to even get to the speaker because it was so slow. i go to order and the lady says "i'll be with you in just a second" i notice there are still only 4 cars in front of me. i tell her my order after another minute of silence. i also have to reiterate that i wanted pumpkin in my drink. i get to the window finally at 3:23. i notice the employees inside... don't seem to be doing much. the guy hands me my drink. and you guessed it! it was wrong and they forgot the pumpkin AFTER i told the lady at the speaker MULTIPLE times i wanted pumpkin. by the time my drink was remade i was already late to work. now i want to make a note that i also work in this industry, but this is just absolutely ridiculous. i made sure to get to starbucks 30 minutes early, plenty early, and yet because of these teenagers who don't know what they are doing, i was late to work. i used to work at a different coffee place for nearly 2 years and i have been on the other side of the window. i made sure that i got my drinks out as quick as possible. clearly at this location, urgency is not on their mind. read more

Every time I go here the coffee is awful, well 80% of the time. I'm sorry, but I don't pay the prices Starbucks charges to get coffee that tastes like burnt coffee and hot water. I just stopped by Starbucks for my favorite coffee/tea drink Chai Tea Latte and a Steak Wrap on my way to work and I'm very displeased. Either the girls spend too much time in the clouds and goofing off or they just haven't been trained how to make the drinks properly. Because this thing has none of the right flavor profiles and tastes like they just spurted whipped cream on hot water and added a little cinnamon on top. Get it together girls, I'd much rather go to Dutch Bros for better atmosphere and great coffee that always taste like it was made with care. read more

Starbucks is a leading competitor is the coffee business in that they offer more than just drinks. I decided to review the Starbucks Store located on Glassford Hill Road in Prescott Valley AZ. As I walked through the door, I could smell the rich aroma of the freshly brewed coffee. I immediately noticed how it seemed warm and inviting with the large armchairs and other cozy seating. When I walked up to the counter to order, I encountered the Barista, a young lady that was sweet and welcoming. I had questions about the menu which she easily answered. I, noticed not only do they sell a variety of drinks, both hot and cold, but they also offer food, as well as a large variety of Starbucks merchandise. In a glass case, there were cake pops, sweetbreads, and other pastries. On the menu, they also have a variety of breakfast sandwiches. As I was placing my first order, the Barista asked if I was a member of the Starbucks rewards program. She explained that you earn one star for every dollar spent and when you acquire 125 stars you get a free item. They also offer promo days where you can earn more. This seems to be a great way to keep customers loyal with so many coffee competitors these days. After browsing the menu, I decided my first item would be a tall Mocha Frappuccino but was tantalized by the pastry case. I opted out of ordering something sweet right then but was sure I would return to that. I walked over to the "pick up counter" and watched the Baristas make my drink. They were quick and efficient while being more than willing to chat with me while I waited. When my drink was ready, the Barista called my name and handed me my drink. It looked delicious. It was a creamy chocolate color with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle on top. I took a drink, and it tasted very chocolatey with a strong coffee aftertaste. The creamy topping added a richness that brought the whole drink together. I found a comfy chair to enjoy my coffee but continued to review the menu to see what else I should try. A drink called a "refresher" caught my eye. When my Frappuccino was finished, I again approached the Barista and queried about the Refresher. She told me they were a type of carbonated beverage using unroasted green coffee but without the taste of coffee. They had a variety of Refreshers to choose from including Strawberry, Pomegranate, and Lemonade. I decided to try the Strawberry Refresher. I ordered and waited again for my drink to come. When the Barista called my name again, I picked up my drink. I noticed the lovely color of the drink. It was a light pink with freshly cut strawberries floating around the ice. It was very pleasing to the eye. I took a drink and was thrilled by the crisp, refreshing taste. It was definitely a great summer drink. After finishing the refresher, I decided to check out the pastry case. Right in front, they had these beautifully decorated cake pops. There were brown ones, pink ones, and white ones. Each color indicated the type of cake inside, so the brown cake pop was chocolate cake, the pink cake pop was strawberry cake, and the white cake pop was vanilla cake. When ordering, I opted for the Vanilla cake pop. It frosting was firm, but the cake inside was soft and moist. It had a bold vanilla taste and almost melted in my mouth. It was small, but the perfect size to top off my two drinks. Overall my visit to this Starbucks was quite enjoyable. They offer comfort through their choice of furniture and seating. Their friendly staff makes you feel welcome. The store was spacious, so you could sit and have a conversation without being disturbed by other patrons as well. They have a long counter with stools lined with outlets for your electronics also offering free wifi. They welcome customers to come and sit, bring electronics and stay awhile. While Starbucks isn't the only coffee place in town, this Starbucks was truly enjoyable. From the custom-tailored drinks and sweet treats to the more hearty breakfast foods, it seems to be a great place to start your day or to stop in for a break during your day. read more

Cathy S should realize that this is a new location with a lot of new partners that are learning, and just because you order something simple doesn't mean it should be made before everyone else's drinks. This location should be admired for how much improvement they have made since they opened! If you love great coffee and a friendly staff this is the location to choose. You can see how hard they are working behind the counter, and if your drink was made wrong they are more then happy to remake it on the fly. Worst service ever. I ordered a simple iced tea. The pre-brewed tea. 10+ minutes later they finally poured it. The woman who seemed to be in charge was making excuses about being busy in the drive through but somehow after I asked about the drink they managed to remember to make it. I'll give them a break on service. They opened very recently and everyone looked very inexperienced. It took me four minutes to have someone pour me a simple iced tea and I was the only person in line. But the person who designed this new Starbucks in Prescott Valley should be hanged at dawn. The most comfortable chairs in the store are located in the double entryway. There are two large hightop rectangular tables with metal barstools (seriously!). Same metal barstools at the counter. The smallest tables are four four tops with wooden chairs. It's not cozy in the least -- serious fail for a coffee shop. The drive-thru is probably fine, but if I want to go sit and relax, I'll drive the extra miles and go to the well-designed Starbucks lounge in Frontier Village. read more
