I love the new location of Starbucks. I've been a loyal patron since their strip mall days near the Taco Bell. There is a lot more space for sitting down to study with a hot cup of coffee. It can get a bit busy, but it has definitely improved since its long line days due to the drive through. It was a fantastic move (pun intended) on their part to transfer across the seat. I don't have much to say about their drinks and food since I'm pretty much a Starbucks slave. In other words, their Starbucks quality is pretty much what I expect it to be and their drinks are consistent. I love it here for it's location and consistency. The manager gives bad, gross vibes. His name is Jimmy. The employees appear distressed and I've literally heard him yell at them and ignore them when coming here. Recently because of poor management the wait times for a coffee has been 45 minutes. I have a service dog and this business lets in non service animals which can cause major liability for people with real service animals. If you are a service animal handler DO NOT GO HERE. The manager needs to get out of that place. He also lies about wait times. read more

This is the absolute worst Starbucks I've ever been to. We waited in line for 30 minutes just to be told they couldn't find my mobile order drink. They had my croissants which were hard and cold by the time they got to me. Then when trying to find my drink they looked around for 10 minutes and couldn't find it. Instead of just making a new one they wondered around looking for it for another 5 minutes. They then had a 5 minute discussion on what to make. We ended up being in line for 50 minutes and got terrible food and a below average drink. I would avoid this location at all cost. read more

the first time i ever ordered starbucks through door dash and they ruined my drink. i paid EXTRA for EXTRA strawberries and my drink has no strawberries in it. i'm very disappointed in this starbucks. either get employees that know how to do their job right or have employees that will take enough time to do things right for customers. i'm disappointed in this store. read more

The drive through here doesn't have the best layout but the drinks are always what I want and the employees are so warm and helpful. I was having the worst day today and one of the baristas wrote on the top of my cup wishing me a better day. I just think that little bit of time they spent trying to make my day better makes the difference in good service vs exceptional service. read more

The parking lot is a disaster. Can't pull forward otherwise parking spots are blocked but if you stay where you are supposed to be then people in the car behind you GET OUT AND YELL AT YOU. Or people PASS YOU IN LINE! Why would Starbucks build such a crap location and why would the city improve it? Starbucks isn't that good to deal with this mess. Go somewhere else people. read more

I'm really curious to know why so many people go through the drive thru while today (at least) I see many empty parking spots. Is drive thru faster?! Although I did notice that the cashier gets my order (in store) and before my order gets through, she went back and took care of drive thru. It's a bit strange in Pullman. Moscow Starbucks has drive thru as well and I have not seen this problem there.... usually there is balance between in store and drive thru speed for service. Again the store manager/staff are so friendly. I have not figured out what exactly slows down the service in Pullman yet.... will update when I can :) read more

I come here pretty much everyday and get a venti latte but they have been under filling them a lot! I pay $6 for a venti and I'm barely getting a grande coffee. The employees here are so nice though and honestly some of the best employees I've ever experienced at a Starbucks. read more

The new Starbucks location is significantly better than what it used to be. The location is far more spacious, but with about the same amount of seating. Expect Starbucks quality of food and drink with friendly baristas and a fair amount of merchandise. On the another hand, parking is quite difficult and often times it seems like they may be understaffed due to the time it takes to make drinks. Many of the seats do not have easy access to outlets, so be sure your devices are fully charged if you're coming to work. Overall, I still really enjoy this location and the atmosphere. read more

This new location versus the old one as well against other Starbucks is just okay. The drinks have been fine and staff works really hard, they alone get the three stars. Parking and drive-through format suck. I get they moved for there for the drive-through alone but whyyyy. If you're not going to give enough space why even bother and parking is nope a millions times. Being from Seattle where coffee is life and Starbucks maybe not the leader in quality coffee but is in quality of service and definition of what the a coffee house is suppose to be two things stand out. They were minor but hurt bigger issues. The staff talking to another customer mentioned that they were aware of how bad the parking was and that everyone there had their car dinged at least once...why are you even parking in that small parking lot. Isn't that customer service 101 to park on the side street and leave the very few spaces to customers. And secondly, I spent an annoying amount of time disusing dairy free options in the food as I am lactose intolerant and they had recently gotten rid of the avocado option that when I got my latte I realized I hadn't asked for soy or anything like that so I got a full milk late. I also gave up and just ordered the bagel plain and they gave it to me (and charged me cream cheese) With all the people there I left and gave it to my co-worker. I get that was totally 100% my fault but still really? When you can buy better beans for a lot cheaper you go to Starbucks for the customer service and place itself (I did a whole capstone project on that for my undergrad its called the 3rd place) and while it is nice and efficient and the drinks are perfectly made but parking in the parking lot is small and the place is crowded putting those other two minor things made me write off the place all together. I was surprised that she refused to ring up my two drinks separately. She said she wouldn't because there was a line (there were 4 people behind us). If Starbucks is going to make a program that awards you to purchase more drinks and food (or equivalent to a punch card), then they should own it. They don't have a drive thru which isn't so bad but make note that they don't carry the salads. If you are staying in Moscow for a wsu weekend, visit their Starbucks which is conveniently located, easy parking, outdoor seating, drive thru and from past visits good customer service. . When I walked in to this location, I saw one of the employees who worked at a different location and I am glad that Starbucks recognized this person's hard work and promoted him. He knows how to deliver excellent customer service and all it takes are simple things that goes a long way to make the customer's experience a positive one. This employee exemplifies it and he will set a very good example to his co-workers and hopefully, improve the overall customer service other employees at this location provide. Aside from praising this particular employee, I am pleased with some of the employees in how they treat customers who walk into their establishment. There are areas of improvement with other employees and that is all on Starbucks to train them with Customer Service. One aspect I do like about the location of this Starbucks is that it has a relaxing ambiance, it's not too bright or have an over contrasting wall of colors and pictures where it can make one dizzy just getting their coffee..at least while waiting, I can feel relaxed even during their busy time. While I also never took the time to sit inside and read, I actually did on this visit and I am pleased with how relatively quiet it is. Of course, this is not a library suited to study for one's Biochemistry or Anatomy and Physiology finals, however, for relaxing and for reading a novel or browsing online while sipping a cup is just fine. read more

In general, I am not usually a huge fan of Starbucks. However, this location is amazing. I have never had poor service, and the coffee is usually just how I like it. I come here quite often (almost every day) and the baristas know my name and my order and sometimes even have it ready for me when I come in the door. They are always very friendly and chat with me about my day. It is a great feeling to be welcomed in such a way in a coffee shop that is part of a huge chain. I usually only choose coffee shops by their atmosphere and the locality of their products, but this Starbucks is the best coffee shop on the Palouse, or at least in Pullman. read more

Starbucks itself as it relates to the drinks and food is great, but the brand new Starbucks on Stadium Way directly next to McDonalds has the worst parking lot there is on the planet. Whoever designed this, had no clue what they were doing. If you park and go in, you are trapped by those in the drive-thru...you then have to try to fit going against the incoming traffic to get out when there is only enough room for one way. The drive-thru is a joke as well and if they get backed up, you have no way out...you must stay in the drive-thru line once you're there. Been late to work a few times because they are slow and you're stuck and cant get out if it is taking too long. This place is terribly messed up! The only good thing is when you get what you came for, it's good. Ugh! Don't go if busy...it's a nightmare trying to get in and out. read more

The staff are all SO sweet, caring, funny, and genuine, and I am blown away at their knack for remembering people's names and drinks. Unfortunately this location does not have a drive through. However, the staff are better than any other Starbucks that I have ever visited (& I drink A LOT of Starbucks). If your not there SUPER early good luck on getting any of the USA today papers (or some others too)- apparently they only get the USA today's on the weekend so don't bother on a weekday trying... Avoid Pauline and Janden (I think it's pronounced Jandeen). I walked up to the counter to order my drink and a cake, and in the middle of my order Janden interrupts and starts joking and laughing with Pauline the cashier who ignores me and begins to joke back. I use to work at a Starbucks near the DFW airport, so I know what to look for when I enter any Starbucks location; if this had happened at my location, those 2 baristas would have been either dismissed or fired. Honestly, go to Cafe Moro, Daily Grind, or even Zoe's Coffee shop - their coffee is way better and the service pretty legit. Went in again this past weekend (6/11 - 6/12) to get my manager and myself coffee, and no one was at the front counter. I waited a minute and leaned over to see the barista Whitney texting on her phone. I called out "Excuse me" but I was ignored. I waited a few more seconds before a man who walked out of the restroom came over, walked behind the counter and put an apron on. I gave him my order and at that moment the barista Whitney decided to come do her job. I told the man I had called out to some one but received no answer but he said nothing. The gentleman was nice and efficient, but three out of the 5 employees I have seen are incompetent. Again, having worked at Starbucks, at any given time there is always some thing to do and some one needs to always be on the floor - that is a rule. If you want decent service, ask for the gentleman. read more
