Again, this is my go-to Starbucks. Literally am a usual. Literally, they've gotten cleaner, as in the garbage a hasn't been overflowing. The bathrooms have been tidy. The tables have been less sticky(some). Service still at point. Greetings are always there as you walk in. Music isn't as obnoxiously loud as before, so those who come in can now focus on what they are doing. (I've been to all the Starbucks in Northern Illinois region/Chicago region, from Mid to southern Wisconsin, and West Coast area--such as Nevada, Arizona, California, and Oregon) this is by Far THE BEST Starbucks! With service, friendliness, attentiveness, accuracy, precision and etc. They've cleaned up. So even better. Still waiting on my MAGIC GAME with Richard and Collin now. 5stars till I get that game. Extremely disappointing and honestly disgusting experience. We waited nearly 30 minutes for only two drinks, which was already an unreasonable amount of time, but what we witnessed while waiting was much worse. One employee repeatedly put his fingers in his mouth and picked/rubbed at his teeth and then immediately go behind the counter. Another employee spilled caramel syrup while preparing a drink and wiped it up with her bare finger rather than using a napkin, towel, or anything sanitary. Watching employees handle food and drinks while displaying such poor hygiene was genuinely disturbing. By the time we finally received our drinks, we didn't even want them anymore. A 30-minute wait for two coffees is frustrating enough, but the complete lack of basic cleanliness and food-handling hygiene made the entire experience unacceptable. I left feeling disgusted rather than simply annoyed. I would not feel comfortable ordering anything from this location again. read more

I went inside to order. Service was good and quick. The guy on the register was quite nice. I ordered a grande Vanilla Latte. Extra hot. What i got was not that. I got in my car and took off on a road trip. When I took my first sip, and it was hot milk. Barely any coffee or Vanilla. WTH. The barrister has no idea how to make coffee. How could she think this was what I ordered. Another $7 wasted on a Starbuck coffee. I don't know why I try. This is not the first time a Starbucks didn't deliver. So I came in with the kids I babysit. We ordered a grande s'mores frappe, a cheese danish, and a chocolate crossiant. The 3 workers working were taking their sweet time, giving me and the kids dirty looks after ordering, AND 2 people got their orders before us even though we placed our order before both of them! The drink came out before the food. How is that possible? THEN to add to it, the chocolate crossiant was pulled from the DISPLAY WINDOW infront of my face, That's been sitting there all day, That is absolutely disgusting. Then once we got both the crossiant and cheese danish, they were both cold still?! The 3 teenage girls working need to be held accountable for taking over 10 minutes on 3 things and 2 of them only needing to be heated up for 30 seconds. CHECK YOUR STARBUCKS WORKERS! read more

And I ain't afraid to say it and I, for one, am glad someone's finally bringing back those shirts with 5 cats standing in a row on the front and their 5 butts and brown eyes on the back. Call me crazy, but I'm into it. In the city hipsters hang inside indie coffee shops. In the suburbs hipsters hang outside indie coffee shops. In Rockford... just chillaxin' at Starbucks. Inside at a two-top or outside on the patio... that's where it's at. When in Rockford and scouting for hipsters, I'd recommend coming here. It's where the hips hang, the iced Chai is a decent do and the mocha cookie something-something is addicting and takes about 6 minutes longer than you'd like it to... but hey, it's R-Ford. Genuinely the BEST service I have ever received from any Starbucks. We had a last minute catering order, and the staff was so kind and patient and got everything correct. I know how frustrating the food industry can be, especially when you have a million things going on and then on top of that a big order gets placed. If you're going to lock the doors, TURN OFF MOBILE ORDERING. Twice now I have ordered ahead on the app and had to get in the drive through line aka slow moving train to China to collect my coffee. The baristas pretend not to notice you as you bang on the door, staring at your soon to be cold coffee. I'll give an extra star because covid is teaching me patience, but most mornings do not offer the luxury of an extra 35 minutes to sit in an inescapable drive through line. read more

Today they decided to close early due to staff shortages - ok - but give customers more than 60 seconds notice? I drove an extra 15 minutes to get here, ordered, plugged in laptop and exactly then was told "we're closing". When? Right now. Couldn't you have warned us? Honestly if I could give this location a zero I would. They cannot get their shiz together. They are closed every other day and always say you can mobile order and to my surprise have the doors locked. Whilst all the employees just sit and stare knowing my drink is on the counter and the line for the drive through backs up to trainer. Why on earth would I do mobile order and then go ahead and want to sit in the drive through? Also who would open a coffee place at 10 am. Such a joke. I will never buy from this location again. Sometimes the little things are annoying. SLOW at the window today, asked for sugar in the Grande Pike I ordered, it was bitter. (End of the hopper perhaps?)
