I've been on the hunt for good brunch ever since moving back to Michigan seven years ago, and the best spot I've found is unfortunately two hours from where I live! My family makes sure to swing through at least once a year on our way back from Lake Michigan. My spouse and older kid love Sy's pot pie, and my younger kid loves the kids' pancakes with chocolate chips and sausage on the side. Not only is the food great, but Lisa is an absolute gem. She was our server when we first found this place in 2024, and on every visit since, she's made sure to stop by and chat, even if we're not in her section.
