The service was top notch. I was running errands on a Saturday and feeling like a needed a boost. I decided to stop in to pick up a quick decaf. This was the friendliest Starbucks I've ever been in. The staff welcomed you and asked all the right questions about what I wanted in my drink and in 2 minutes I was out the door. They even thanked me by name when I left. Their friendliness changed my mood in a positive way. (You know how it is after a long work week sometimes) When I got to the car, I tasted the coffee and it wasn't too hot or fresh tasting. I was going to leave and decided to go back in instead of tossing the coffee. They gladly made a fresh pot and gave me a fresh cup. The barista even brought the coffee to me at the table where I sat to wait. Give these folks a chance. They are trying hard -- at least when I was there on Saturday morning. read more

I love Starbucks. Like - a lot. But unfortunately this location isn't the best I've ever visited. The espresso is extremely watered down, or not strong, or something. Because every drink I ordered was milk. And no matter how many shots of espresso I had them add to it, still tasted like straight milk. The only reason this isn't a 1 star review is because my drink was made correctly - other than that the customer service I received this morning was so appalling. This morning I came to get my birthday drink (and my husband ordered and paid for a drink, so we were also 'paying' customers). I noticed what I thought were our drinks were sat very far back in the counter, next to the nitro cold brew. We gave it a few moments but after numerous customers who ordered after us received their drinks and the baristas were restocking/cleaning I decided to try to 'bother' a barista to ask if these were ours. When I tell you I have never had such a hard time getting an employees attention - I am sure they are well practiced in avoiding eye contact with people trying to rush their orders, but this was just absurd. After standing right at the counter trying to make eye contact and several 'excuse me's to try to get someone's attention a very clearly annoyed barista deigned to acknowledge me. Sure enough they were our drinks. Really just a bizarre morning experience when the store was slow. Sorry for not reaching back into your workstation to touch drinks not marked as mine? Needless to say, I won't be back. It's not worth paying Starbucks prices to be treated like an annoyance. read more

They have pretty experienced baristas here which makes me very happy! I've gone to a few other starbucks to order the drink below and a few baristas didn't get it quite right. They hit the nail on the head here! The drink i ordered "Can i get a grande iced brown sugar shaken espresso, can i get those shots blonde ristretto and updosed" and they made me the most delicious drink every. Used my name every time and were very quick! Great spot with a lot of comfortable seating and fast wi-fi to work or study. read more

I don't understand how at a slow time with four baristas it takes 10 minutes for me to get a simple mocha beverage. They did not greet me while I waited about 90 seconds at the counter. Then it seems like all the orders to go get precedent over customers who order at the counter. They value their conversations with each other more than service or efficiency. Starbucks corporate needs to do something about how staff treats in person customers. read more

The people working at this Starbucks is what I would call a true barista! Your pumpkin spice latte here is just not the same as a pumpkin spice latte at another Starbucks. Your hazelnut macchiato here is... well... indescribably sexy. And your favorite handcrafted drink is not actually your favorite -- unless you've ordered it here. You can go to a super packed Starbucks locations where the staff, no matter how friendly, can only give you a passing moment's glance before asking you to pay for your drink so the line can move along. You can go to the Starbucks where you stand in a smaller line. You watch with remarkable impatience (which is very much unlike you, by the way) as the single staff that day takes an order, makes a drink, takes an order, makes a drink, and it's still not your turn. You can go to the Starbucks where they just can't get your drink right. That somehow burns the milk. That has no idea a green tea frap uses matcha powder and asks you which filterbag tea you want with your frap. That just (fill in the blank)... Or, you can come to this Starbucks. :) - My favorite drink, which one of the barista introduced me to: Green tea frap, half syrup, shot of espresso, and whipped cream mixed in. - Park in Garage A, B, or C. Get a free 2 hour validation at Starbucks. - They do not offer 2 hour validation at the Metro Plaza garage (the one right before Garage B). - As others have said, the service is fast, friendly, and just top-notch. In the morning the line is to the door, but they get you in and out way too fast. You make extra effort to take smaller strides towards the exit. It is dawning on you. being disabled i always worry here as i can rarely sit in a disabled seat snd giving few tables ppl take all of the tables, no mattetr if they are disabled. recently a worker actually sent me outside while abled ppl were using the dissbility tables, after i complained to the manager and yes the able ppl at one table said they would stay in the table. i would suggest the cafe in dawsons market, much more tables and room, great workers there, and cheeper for some drinks read more

Tati was very rude. My friend ordered a drink, and we waited for quite awhile. She inquired about the drink, Tati gave a dismissive hand motions saying "it's been sitting there" pointing to a drink on the table. 1) It was not the drink my friend ordered. 2) She shouldn't have been that dismissive to a customer. I'm hoping this wasn't due to implied racism but both of us felt she might be have treated us badly because of racism (my friend and I are Chinese). I've been here several times and will continue to visit, mainly because it's the only coffee shop in the Town Square where you can sit and get some work done. I've dropped in at all hours of the day, and while traffic is constantly flowing in and out, they've always been efficient. Plus, there is lots of seating. I've noticed that if you come between 11:30 - 12:30, or between 2:00-3:00 during the school year, it's almost impossible to find seating. Any other times, you should be fine. Parking seems like it would be a big issue, but I like that, since I walk in anyway. read more

If I could would write a 0 star review but I can't. Worst place EVER! The one time I am in a hurry i get the barrita who doesn't give a shit. I tell her that I made a mobile order, she does not stop to check if she received it. Instead she's angry & tells me that I have to wait until she gets to it. I had made the mobile order 5 minutes before I showed up to store. I tell Alejandra that I have been waiting for my drink at the store for 15 minutes (not counting the 5 minutes ahead of time I ordered on the mobile app. I have NEVER had this lousy experience at Starbucks since I started going to in 1997. I was supposed to leave for a flight ay BWI latest at 3:45. Waiting for her to decide to make my drink it was 3:52pm. I stopped twice to tell her that I couldn't believe that she took this long to make 3 espresso shots over ice & she threatens to call the cops. I walked out. As a hispanic like Alejandra i never expected to be treated this way. Even before mobile ordering I have never waited 20 minutes for 3 espressos. I will be calling headquarters to complain. Consistency...something very important for a coffee shop like Starbucks. This location consistently produces handcrafted beverages, something that I really appreciate! I tend to order the same three drinks in a cycle, unless it's Christmas--then I get the white chocolate peppermint mocha because..."swoon". Each time I order a drink, it always tastes just as good as last time, something I've noticed not all Starbucks can boast. The baristas at this location are also always nice, friendly, and efficient. I usually order ahead on the app to save myself some time, but I have gone in and waited in their long lines and was surprisingly grabbing my drink to go shortly after ordering. Definitely the place I go to get my daily fix of caffeine or indulge in one of their delicious breakfast sandwiches or bread loaves. Their dining area is quite spacious with plenty of seating areas.
