Honestly, I have to tell you about my morning lifesaver: this is the Starbucks I stop at after wrestling the kids out the door and getting them to school. By the time I pull up, not even 8am, I'm already exhausted -- you know the feeling -- but the second I walk in, everything shifts. And that's because of Terri. Terri is the true highlight of my morning. She's one of those rare people who is genuinely happy to see you, every single time. She remembers my order, she asks how my morning's going, and she does it all with this warm, friendly energy that feels real -- not forced. It's like she hands out sunshine with the coffee (cheesy but true) Even on the days when I'm running late and my hair's a mess and I'm barely holding it together, Terri somehow makes me feel like I'm doing just fine. This Starbucks is pretty decent. It is conveniently located in a shopping plaza with a decent making of parking. It's is spacious with plenty of seating where you're not on top of each other. The staff here is friendly, like in every other Starbucks I've visited. This place does get packed during peak hours with the majority of the order being for pick up. The pickup counter could be a little more organized. They have labels below the drinks for people to find their name, however they are barely noticeable, leading to people having to touch others drinks for check the names. This is something they can totally improve on. Also the food order are very hard to tell which is which. Overall, this location is ideal if you're in the ideal and are needing you daily cup of coffee. read more

While visiting family in the area, I've already frequented this Starbucks location twice in 2 days! I used the mobile app to place my order both times. Each time, my order was ready for pick upon arrival. On my second visit, I ordered a snowman cake pop - I know, the cake pops are a guilty pleasure of mine. Once I got in the car, I realized they gave me a snowman cookie. Normally it wouldn't have been a big deal, but I really wanted a cake pop. I went back to Starbucks to let the barista know about the mistake. Without hesitation, she took the cookie back (it was still in the original sealed plastic) and ended up giving me the cake pop (which I learned are packaged in pairs prior to going in the display case). But instead of just giving me the one cake pop, she gave me two cake pops, apologized for the error. She gave me the extra cake pop for the trouble! Wow, so generous and thoughtful. For that gesture and stellar customer service, I definitely wish I could give this Starbucks location 10 stars! The entire staff here is efficient, fast, friendly and professional! Due to COVID, you can't dine in. I highly suggest ordering through the app. The parking is really challenging due to the adjacent Medical Center (Covid testing). This Starbucks is great and located at an easy location if you're commuting by car. Very nice staff, but like any coffee place there can be a wait during rush times. I'd recommend ordering on mobile app ahead for pick-up. The parking lot can be a little annoying at times with traffic but you'll find a spot. Try the new fall apple drinks! Amazing staff and customer service. Sometimes when I drive into work, this is on the way and I usually get a dairy-free flavored drink for breakfast or a black coffee if I've ate something earlier. The foods aren't really vegan friendly, so I generally try to stay away from that. They have a great open space for people to enjoy their drinks/eats and/or set up shop and do some lappy work. The parking lot of the shopping center is fine, but the entryways into it need work. They're so uneven and crumbled that I'm always worried about getting a flat tire! It's nestled between a little expensive grocery market and CVS. There may be 1-2 other businesses, but my brain is blanking. The common goods are the same as you'd find at other Starbucks Coffee locations. The bathrooms, I have only been once, and it was fine. Not gross or anything of that sort. The music is always eclectic. It's hard to get annoyed or bored with it. If you're a coffee junkie or looking for a nice place to chill out, this could be the spot. Happy shenanigans! read more

This is my neighborhood starbucks. I really like the small size of this location as well as lot, because it's supposed to cater to the small town for locals. I still find a place to sit and study no matter what time I come in, so that's great! The bathroom is generally clean and the people who come in are friendly. I haven't had any problems with employees or customers here. There is a central big table that multiple people can share, great for studying or working on stuff! I recommend this place for anyone, but not too big groups because after all it is a local cafe. read more

Would give it zero star, the place it self is nice, but this morning 4/9/24 the service was terrible, the barista making the drinks, made a mistake with my drink, and when I said to her my drink tasted weird, she wanted to lecture me about what's in it, but she left out one of the ingredients. And she was very rude about it. Then what makes it worse was that three people that came in behind me received their food before me and I waited 15 minutes for my sandwich in which I had said something after 10 minutes. This Starbucks is one of the most conveniently located Starbucks' on Long Island. It's close to both highways (NSP & LIE) with very easy on and off access. The seating is ample, the bar and mobile pickup area is easy to access, and the waiting area post ordering and pre drink, is also quite ample. The bathrooms are clean, updated, and easy to access as well. It's located in a strip mall with a small grocery store, a CVS, and has ample parking but with all things being equal, the parking lot could actually be larger... Not sure why anyone would give this Starbucks less than 5 stars being that this is the cleaniest & friendliest Starbucks in Nassau, and probably all of Long Island. The service is fast, whether you're online or picking up a mobile order. They always have food, snacks, drink items in stock as well. It can be tough to find a seat inside or a parking spot during rush hour, but most of them time it's not a huge issue. This place is like the bar on that show "cheers". If you want to go where everyone knows your name and they're always glad you came -- you go to this starbucks. Living in manhattan now, I've been to maybe two dozen other SBs, but none compare to this location's solid staff, speed of service, and amenities provided (ample seating, ambient lighting, non-imposing background music, etc). I studied for my boards here and was at this place so often I think the staff chalked me up for being homeless from time to time. But I digress. Huge bonus: f the company you're with or the work you have to get done begins to bore you, you simply have to look outside the storefront window towards the most ridiculous parking lot in history. It's like going to the roman colosseum to watch a bunch of idiots topple over pedestrians and ding other cars because they are a) driving stupid fast in a 10 mph zone, b) don't understand that the traffic moves freakin counterclockwise with relation to the storefronts, or are c) zooming around randomly with their eyes on their text messaging and what not. Trust me, I've spent many an unproductive hour sitting on the nice bench outside with my coffee thinking about the meaning of life amidst the backdrop of mayhem and madness unfolding before me. Also, bitching about traffic patterns is an excellent way to make friends with the slightly older patrons. If you went to Herricks or Roslyn school districts -- then you're guaranteed to walk into a reunion on any evening. In comparison to other locations: Old country road: Out of the way and dingy. And the traffic to get there? fuhgettaboutit. Garden city sb: nice, but unless you get that one gigantic bench in the back, you will spend half your time working trying to balance the book on a table meant for people who think tables are meant to be completely non-functional decorative items. The Starbucks WiFi works pretty well except for the Starbucks app ironically. Once we had decided on what we wanted, we were attended to promptly. I got the Grande Crystal Ball Frappuccino and the Chicken & Double Smoked Bacon sandwich. My mom got the Grande Iced Caramel Macchiato with Blonde Espresso with a warmed blueberry scone. I loved my drink(I wasn't sure how it was going to be) and my sandwich. My mom 'liked' her drink. She's a diehard Dunkin' Donuts person, so finding her a drink that she would love as much as Dunkin' Donuts's Frozen Coffee is harder than finding a needle in a haystack. read more

From the outside, i wasn't expecting much - small front in a small strip of stores. You could drive right by it and not know it was there. When i walked in, i was shocked at how roomy and big it was on the outside. There was hardly anyone there. Perhaps it is a secret gem and if that is the case, i should rate this 1 star so people stay away hahaha. The location is very clean on the inside with plenty of seating and tables. The service here is really terrible. When I come in and order, my order is never correct. I order two sous vide egg bites and only get one. They take forever to come out sometimes long enough where I don't have time to get the second order. When I order from mobile and it says 4-8 minutes, I show up 15 minutes after and the order hasn't been started. The egg bites are always burned too. read more

If I could give this location below one star, God I would in a heartbeat. I cannot simply stress just how annoyed I am constantly each time I come to this location. The staff is so rude and obnoxious and EVERY single time I order a drink, there is a problem with it. I'm probably the only one that orders the classic Starbucks double shot and more than half the time they've asked me if I want it "hot" - first off, it is only served cold so there alone, I would say the staff needs to be better trained in that department as well. (Also, this location seems to have the worst tasting espresso as I add nothing to my drink and definitely notice it. So, I stopped ordering that specific drink) I came in tonight (monday. January 4, 2016) at around 5:40pm (actually in the parking lot writing this review) my girlfriend had ordered the new latte macchiato w/ caramel and I got a mint tea. We left, me thinking god how can they mess up tea. She tried her macchiato, it had no carame whatsoever and was so bitter, we returned. They remade it with no problem after I had expressed there was no caramel but not before CHRIS the employee with glasses cut me off to say that he definitely added caramel and continued to literally argue this with me. I am a customer who nicely returned and asked my drink be remade and he had the audacity to stand there and argue with me. Another barista ended up making my drink and the caramel was very much so in there this time. So we left again, drove back home for the 2nd time and had to return for the 3rd because my Tea was wrong. Lol. Again, HOW DO YOU MESS UP A TEA??? I asked for a peppermint tea and I got a emporer's something whatever it was called tea. Once again, I returned. This time quite frustrated and asked for a manager. Only supervisor was there, I expressed everything that happened especially with CHRIS and it seemed to be taken care of. At least, I hope it was. But not before I had to explain I got the wrong tea and have the older lady cashier Tell me they don't have peppermint but they have mint?? 1) it's the same type lol. And 2) if I asked for "peppermint" that you supposedly don't have why the hell would you give me regular green emperor tea. I really don't get it. This is literally the only Starbucks I've ever had a horrible experience each time. I used to work for Starbucks for quite some time. I know how each and every drink Is made. I don't get why the whole staff has to always lie to me when I tell them it's wrong. Just admit you and wrong and make it over. The only person I can vouch for at this Starbucks is Ashley, I believe. She has always made them right without me having to ever look over at what they're doing. Hire more Ashley's. This Starbucks is pretty big! They have plenty of seats. You can find all sorts of costumers here (college kids studying to groups of men just hanging out). The Baristas are easy going and laid back. Went to get a quick fix, cause I was running on empty. Was able to give my order right away as there was no line. Had a pleasant greeting prior to ordering and noticed they updated the counter area. As usual about 5 people doing nonsense, washing dishes. I waited for my drink for about 15 minutes. The 3 people behind me were able to get their drinks before me and 2 of them had the same exact drink. Instead of making my drink they decided to make all of our drinks together, but after serving everyone by name, my drink was just left in the counter until I asked if it was mine. Terrible service. This is the one location that constantly messes up your order. I just had to drive back 3 times for one drink! They even messed up my tea. Wait time is ridiculous even when no one is in there. The only barista who knows what they're doing is Ashley. The barista Chris was EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional.
