This dude made me go back outside......... in the rain.......... with my 3 and 5 year old babies....... to grab 5 cent to finish paying for my drink. I am not joking. If this wasn't the closest starbucks in my hood, I would NOT come back. Like, you didn't have 5 cents to loan a playa on this $800.00 sbux drink???????????? damn homie.

Ok, so this may be a real shocker... but just in case you weren't officially aware; my name is Christy and I love SBUX. Now that the formalities are out of the way...I'm sure we can agree that all locations are not created equal. Especially this new Ferguson jewel. Totally in a class of it's own. Plenty of seating options from high tops to a private meeting area equipped with floor to ceiling industrial style pocket doors. There is also faux leather and patio seating perfect for close-quarter intimate conversations over a nice hot cup of Joe. I want all locations to mimic this one. I seriously haven't been as excited as I was when I experienced their virtual drive-thru ordering system since I don't know when! This SBUX is a breath of fresh air for Ferguson and I'm ecstatic to see it here. ~Christy

This Ferguson store is symbolic because it is in the city of and mere miles from the area where a policeman killed an 18-year-old unarmed teen; that sparked a national conversation about the treatment of minorities by the Police and "policing only for profit". Myself and so many others are elated to see this store open. Today is opening day and there is such diversity and a great spirit here. This location is roomier than many others I have seen with additional communal tables added for local meetings to facilitate change. I made a purchase inside and in the drive-thru and the drive-thru lets you see the Barista you're speaking to. I have been to so many stores where the Associates were pleasant but I really felt a strong sense of pride here. It's so rainy today but my drink is piping hot and taste as I would expect from any other Starbucks. This location also gives Boeing, BJC and Emerson Electric associates additional coffee options. The Associates here where bubbly and of great importance my drink was right (even spelled by name right). For opening day I didn't see any catastrophes happening and everything was well stocked. Opening a Starbucks will not fix the systematic racial issues in Missouri or the nation as a whole but the visibility and investment (though miles from the devastated area) is noted and appreciated. "Show you're brave, those with faith, on a mission, led by intuition" - you may not live nearby but this is apart of your city. A 14 block radius is not all that encompasses your community. We all drink Starbucks so if you're in the area or even if you're not in the area come show love and support the local people employed here, and a great chain that's doing great things to assist so many - one cup at a time.

The promise of Starbucks drive through is that they get your order right every time. Out of my 5-6 visits here so far my order gets messed up twice. This location is logistically great for me to and from work but I think I will go back to Quik Trip if I have to break for coffee. Yesterday there was a mumbler at the drive through. I could barely hear him and he did not confirm anything I was saying to him. Of course the drink order is wrong, I asked for soy milk and got regular milk and when I asked him if it was soy milk, I was told I did not tell him that I wanted soy milk. Yes, he did offer to make me another drink and asked me to wait in front of the Starbucks instead of the drive through line. That's fair. And 10 minutes later I had to walk into the place to ask for my replacement drink. I give up on this place. There are so many other coffee shops in the area with better service. Sorry Ferguson Starbucks, you need to up your customer service game.

Grand opening. Most workers at this store live within a 5 mile radius. Bringing jobs to the community. Thanks Starbucks.

At noon on a Sunday, it was bustling, but luckily, there was a very short wait for a table. Our server, Antigone, was fantastic! She provided amazing recommendations, was extremely warm and friendly, and made our experience very pleasant despite the somewhat lengthy wait for our food. The food was well worth the wait. I thoroughly enjoyed my order of salmon croquettes with rice and a biscuit. My mate's Build-A-Breakfast order of scrambled eggs, hash browns, and chicken wings had some of the best-tasting wings that I have ever had in my life. When I return to Hive Cafe, I will absolutely order the chicken and waffles just so I can have an order of those wings to myself.

The server came over immediately and gave me menus. I briefly saw the menu online but figured I'd do a once over before making my decision. I went with the build-your-own breakfast and got the eggs and potatoes with a biscuit and turkey sausage. Drink wise, I went with water and a strawberry-pineapple mimosa. The mimosa was so refreshing and I def. appreciated the pour after a stressful flight! It wasn't long until my food came out. I was a bit disappointed at the portion of the egg as they seemed almost too small for what I was supposed to receive. The peppers on the potatoes threw me off. I think I was expecting something different. Nevertheless, they were good but not what I had pictured. Surprisingly, the biscuit was the highlight of my meal. It was perfect! The turkey sausage tasted like regular turkey sausage, so nothing special there. Overall, my server was awesome and gave great service. While I enjoyed my visit, it would have been nice if there signs to let customers know they're under construction instead of walking into dust on the floor, chairs, and everywhere. Aside from that, I def intend on coming back!

Narrow Gauge has a great microbrewery vibe, and the beer selection was impressive--everyone in our group found something different to try. I went with a 16 oz Mullanphy's, an Irish-style red ale, and it really hit the spot. Smooth, flavorful, and exactly what I was looking for after a long day. Since we had worked up an appetite, we ordered food from Cugino's Italian Restaurant next door, which pairs perfectly with the brewery setup. It made for a seamless experience--great beer and great food without having to go far. What stood out just as much as the drinks was the service. The manager on duty was attentive and made sure our group was taken care of, which added to the overall positive experience. All in all, it was a great way to wrap up the day. I'd definitely recommend Narrow Gauge for anyone looking for quality craft beer and a laid-back atmosphere.

They had a bunch of different pastries you could choose from along with merch that you could shop while waiting for your order I tried the espresso doughnut and it was good, but it was more cakey but they let me know that before I ordered. My daughter got the gooey butter cake and enjoyed it. Another part that i liked was being able to see the pastries getting made off to the side.
