One star because zero isn't an option. Today I had the pleasure of being handed the display cake pop -- yes, the one that's been sitting out all day under who-knows-what conditions -- because they ran out. Instead of telling me they didn't have any left, they thought giving me the dusty, possibly germ-infused display version was totally acceptable. I'm sorry, but that's not only gross -- that's a health hazard. How is that even allowed? On top of that, when I asked for a water refill (after they spilled the first one), I was told it was "against policy." Let's be clear -- they spilled it. Not me. But I'm the one left without water? The policy should be "don't spill it in the first place" or maybe "try basic customer service." Starbucks, I expected better. This was not just disappointing -- it was borderline unsanitary and absurdly unhelpful.

I placed a mobile order and by the time I got there, about 5 mins, it was ready for me on the counter. Because they were so efficient, I didn't stick around too long. I did notice the inside was very spacious and everything looked very clean. They also had a good sized outdoor patio where folks were enjoying drinks with their families. I didn't have any trouble finding 1hr street parking in front of the store. If you have to park down the block, you may enjoy a nice walk through the park.

My coffee cost more than a gallon of gas but the location is priceless.

There's only 2 Starbucks that I LOVE. This one and the Powell Bart Station location. This Starbucks never effs up my orders, it's clean, and for the most part- they are fast. To be fair- I mobile order everything but the few times I ordered at the counter, service was great and drinks were done fast. We live in that complex so there are a lot of Google peeps and dog parents. This place is super cute and gives free tiny cups of whip cream for dog moms/dads to give their furbabies. Those that use this location for meetings and work have plenty of tables and community tables to pick from.

One star cuz I do mobile ordering so I don't have to go in. 0 stars cuz there was a group of 6-7+ people that just walked in, they weren't asked to wait outside and they aren't 6 feet apart inside. No Starbucks employee is enforcing the rules posted outside. Another random guy just walked in so now there's at least 8-9 ppl in the store. So much for their rules.

Alright, for all the Starbucks I've reviewed, they all start with "What's to say, it's another Starbucks?" and I've never given 5 stars to a Starbucks because of the shear fact that they all sell the same old boring coffee pikes place and I'm sick of it! Then I discovered the Clover brewing system this location has (as I was whining to one of the baristas about pikes). Now I have options, the Ethiopian Sun Dried beans are so awesome and they can brew you a fresh cup in just minutes using this semi-automated french press style brewing machine. So far this has been the only Starbucks that I've been to that has this system so I felt compelled to write an update and bump them up to 5 stars... I also love that they are right next to Patxi's pizza, one of my favorite lunch spots so this is a win win...

Yet another example of the kindness and personalized service we get from the baristas here!

The shop is clean and stylish, and the drinks come in reusable glasses and mugs, rather than defaulting to plastic cups. There is not a dedicated parking lot (it is stationed beside an apartment complex), but there is some street parking available in easy walking distance. The servers are friendly and quick, and there is a wide but not overwhelming variety of drink (mostly coffee/espresso and some matcha) and food (cake slices, waffles, and dessert toasts) options available. You can also preorder whole cakes from them. The coffee is decent, but I find that $7 is a little steep for a latte that doesn't really stand out. I can sort of justify it by thinking that I'm also paying for the lovely space to work as well. The desserts are also a bit pricy, at around $10 per piece (and the pieces aren't huge). Overall, I had a pleasant experience here and would absolutely recommend it if you're looking for a place to sit down for a while to read, study, or relax, despite the somewhat pricy menu.

Since we did not sit inside I didn't check to see if there were outlets or such to comment. I ordered the corn milk, less sweet, however, I would say it was still sweet so if youre like me and prefer less you may have to speak to whoever is working directly to make it even less sweet as from the options I still think it was sweet. Still super good, I'm just glad I didnt do 100% sweetness. The worker also asked us to let her know if we wanted any additional adjustments, so that was very nice! I love corn milk and if that's something you like I'd recommend. The pandan jelly in it helped lessen the sweetness so I think keeping that in really balanced my drink. My friend got the peach lychee crusher which had a very syrupy taste to it. I would say if you dislike that type of flavoring then it won't be for you. He enjoyed it alot and although it isn't my preference it wasn't bad just not for me. Prices are along other location with $6ish dollar drinks. I believe my corn milk was actually cheaper than other drinks at around $4.50-$5 not including tax. (Unfortunately I don't remember the exact pricese) Additionally: cups still have K on the Go on them but they seem to be rebranding to Latthe: Roast & Toast which was on the door and on a sign when we appeared.

I moved out towards…read morethis neck of the words and was searchin' searchin' searchin', and my thirsty heart led me to here! --- F O O D & D R I N K S --- The first drink I had at Qamaria was the Pistachio Latte with oatmilk and whewwww... easily the best pistachio latte I've ever had. The pistachio flavor tastes rich and legit without being overly sweet or covering up the coffee. A lot of pistachio drinks at other spots taste like artificial syrup, but this one is smooth, balanced, and actually complements the espresso. I also love seeing that deep green color in the clear cups--it just looks so aesthetic and makes the drink feel even more authentic. Honestly, 9 out of 10 times, this is what I'm ordering. If it's your first time here, PLEASE get it. Thankfully my husband is always down to be adventurous and order something different so we can still guarantee at least one pistachio latte on the table lol. His go-to is the Qamaria Latte with oatmilk, sometimes with cold foam. It sounds simple--espresso, steamed milk, cardamom, and cinnamon--but it tastes like comfort in a cup. The cardamom and cinnamon make it feel warm, cozy, and layered without punching you in the face with sugar. Nothing tastes artificial here. Everything feels intentional and made with care. Also, whether you dine in or take it to-go, the drinks always look cute. I LOVE the dine-in presentation though. The iced drinks come in clear glass cups so you can see all the layers, and the hot drinks come in these thick ceramic mugs that make the experience feel extra cozy. And I'm such a sucker for their tray setup too--everything matches the aesthetic so well and makes coffee dates here feel extra special. And don't even get me started on the milk cakes because they are dangerously good. My fave is the Biscoff milk cake. It's super soft, creamy, rich, and has the perfect caramelized cookie flavor without being too sweet. It paired sooo well with the warm spices in the coffee. _______________________________________________________ --- S E R V I C E --- Each barista I ever had was kind and super chill. I never felt rushed and they took their time answering questions. It sounds pretty simple but I feel like even with how busy it can get, they pace themselves accordingly behind the counter so that they are intentional and patient with their customers, and work in a consistent pace that gets drinks done in time and hands them off with care. Very contrast to a cafe where baristas are working so fast-paced that their interactions are short and it feels like that they just want to get the drink over with and passed off to the customer. It all goes back to Qamaria's baristas being intentional with the way that they work. Keep doin' your thing y'all. Love the flow. _______________________________________________________ --- A M B I A N C E -- It's funny because the first time my husband and I pulled up was after dinner on a Friday night. He was feenin' for coffee and was like, "What's even open this late?" Yoooo, finding out Qamaria Yemeni Coffee was open until 1 AM on Fridays and Saturdays instantly made us happy because now we got a late-night spot whenever the cravings hit. Most nights they're open until midnight too, which is dangerous lol. And let me tell you... this place gets CRACKIN'. We came around 10:30 PM and the line was out the door, but I'm so glad we stayed because the drinks changed our life. Even on a random weekday when I met up with a homegirl, we looked up from yappin' for hours and suddenly the line was wrapped outside again. Trust--it's worth the wait. The inside is warm, modern, and culturally rich without feeling forced or overly trendy. The arches, lighting, patterned seating, earthy tones, and artwork make the whole space feel cozy and intentional. Even when it's packed, it still feels welcoming and communal--honestly just proof this is THE spot to be no matter the time of day. People are studying, catching up with friends and fam, working, or just vibing over coffee, and it somehow all works together perfectly. It's the type of café that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile instead of grabbing your drink and leaving.
