Interesting experience. I placed a mobile order and waited outside until the expected pickup time. Upon arrival the workers were drinking their starbucks behind the counter. There were no customers in the store. When I went to the mobile pick-up counter the barista pointed me in the direction of the register area to place my order. When I told him I was here for a mobile pickup he put down his drink and then started to make my drink. I was a bit frustrated as I had ordered it earlier and now it was already past the pick-up time. I am very understanding when it is a busy time. This is the sole reason I'm not giving this place 5 stars, even when I asked for the music volume to be lowered - it wasn't. This Starbucks only had one employee working the whole time we were there and we were there for about 30 minutes. Devon looked frustrated and I don't blame him but even though he was frustrated he smiled when we walked in and made us perfect drinks and our food was perfectly warmed up. I got the brown sugar shaken espresso It comes with 4 shots Espresso So I did it with -3 shots of decaf 1 shot of regular espresso. taste like what it is strong espresso in oat milk even though it was mostly decaf, there's not too much sugar. It's a great location. I am writing this review after the other day's first poor experience in order to hopefully raise awareness. I placed a mobile order- and was up way earlier than my usual time for an offroad trail run. Forgetting my mask in my morning stupor, I figure I'll be able to walk in grab my drink, and not cause a ruckus. But NOOO not this time....my drink is behind the counter not in the grab and dash location. Asked- do I have a mask? No- well you need one to be in here. Looking around at everyone in the store sipping coffee not even wearing a chin strap I go- can you just give me my drink and I'll be out of here? No- they had to GIVE me a mask, have me put it on humiliatingly, and then hand my drink. Disregarding their borrowed mask after wearing it for all of 10 seconds. There is no science in any of that- if anything I was put more AT RISK by putting on a mask handed to me by an employee...seriously CORPORATE do not subject your employee's to such senselessly dumb measure we beg of you- neither they nor your customers deserve to be treated this way. I stopped going to this location while traveling since after ordering my coffee etc I was told that the restroom is closed and I have to go use another restaurant's restroom - they close both restrooms for long periods of time for "cleaning "and they are not very accommodating to their customers! This happened more than one time so I started going to another coffee shop off the freeway. read more

First time in this Starbucks location. The Baristas were so friendly! Both male baristas were so nice, accommodating and service was quick. Quality of the frappe made was good and not watered down. They took extra effort in asking specific details on how I wanted my order made and it was well appreciated. Reminiscent of all the Autumn Fall flavors along with an Espresso in a short cup with steamed oat milk!.... Everything was made perfectly! The whole experience from the beginning to end was outstanding! Lynn who took my order was incredibly sweet, very friendly! and just a real pleasure to talk too! I had a conversation with a barista who was from Rhode Island! She was able to multitask and works so great with the team! They all look so happy! There were plenty of staff to be able to acknowledge me at the register and to ask for my order. No one approach the register or even acknowledged I was there. A few of them were reading names for the call-in orders. No problem. I can wait. I figured they would say hi and ask for my order after they handed the food out. No one did. I left. It's a beautiful store but the staff behind the counter need to learn customer service for their walk in clients. The ladies this morning made my day. I placed a mobile order on my way into work at 540am. When I arrived, they were closed due to curfew orders, wouldn't open until 6am. I had to be at my own job at 6am. I called the store to cancel my order. Kayla answered. I explained what happened and she told me she was making it and if I waiting a couple minutes they would bring it out. After a long night and knowing I'd be walking into the aftermath of the looting (I work in property maintenance), I needed a coffee treat. This Starbucks, on the Northeast corner of Valencia Blvd & The Old Road, is one of my favorite pit stops when I'm headed to parts South of the Grapevine. It is has easy access both on and off I-5 at the Valencia Blvd exit. There is a Fatburger in the same center if you're hungry and a Robek's next door just in case you're road tripping with friends who don't drink coffee making it convenient for everybody. The last time I was here I purchased a pound of Casi Cielo (alas, it was a limited edition coffee bean and I can no longer find it) which they ground for me. They asked me what type of coffee filter I had (cone or flat) as apparently they grind it differently so be sure to specify if you're having them grind the coffee for you. I also ordered a hot venti skinny cinnamon dolce latte, my current favorite fru-fru drink. I never stay here long, as I am usually on a long road trip somewhere, but the atmosphere is certainly conducive to a long stay with it's Earth toned decorating scheme and the light jazz playing. You'll have to enter the center from the middle of the West side so make a sharp right just as you pull in as it is located at the far Southern end of the center on the outlying pad next to Robek's. read more

Finally a CLOVER brewing system in Santa Clarita! What a treat. It's a little far of a drive for my wake up juice. I am hopeful other Starbucks closer to home will be getting a CLOVER. The Hawaii Kau one of the reserve blends is a little expensive but you won't be disappointed. The CLOVER brews each and every cup singly on its own. A very cool machine and a need process to observe. The staff seems great. They are pretty efficient getting the drinks out. Location good for those traveling the 5 or living close by. This Starbucks definitely keeps the shopping center alive with the absence of the Albertsons Supermarket. Loads of parking. Arrived just after 5a opening, for an hour and 22 minutes the door is locked, customers had to walk back around to the front, the manager tried coming in that way at 6:29 and had to open it but, she didn't even look at the Bathroom blocked by a trash can & sign. It wasn't raining & it had been there already since opening 1 1/2 hours prior. Another employee at 06:45 took his break moved the trash came back & had to walk around the sign to get out, he left it there ? Hmm come spring $ summer there is always trash on the tables outside from all the Kids here, and there is a lot. This Starbucks is the Bus stop / babysitting place they queue up in cars just like up the street at school drop/ and pick up.
