I like Menchie's yogurt but I'm not at all happy with our last experience at this location. There were three boys that were getting many, many free samples and then taking toppings with their hands. I told the manager who didn't seem to be too concerned. Personally, I think these three young men should've been immediately escorted out of the store, and all of the toppings should've been removed because they were now contaminated because of these three young men touching them. Places like this are exactly why retail is going to extinct. They will NOT allow tasters at this location because they say people who frequent the mall and many kids take advantage of the free tasters and don't buy ice cream and they're losing money. While I understand the issue, let's be real, YOU'RE an Ice Cream shop. The business model of an ice cream is to be in high traffic areas. We had a fundraiser for Saugus HS Lacrosse in September and we have not received our fundraising check yet!!! I have called both locations where we had it since owner owns both and keep getting told that the OWNER will not pay out his fundraising checks. This is ridiculous and it is for a school program in our community. So do not have a fundraiser there. The good: I love that Menchie's often changes their flavors and has seasonal specials. I didn't realize that they also sell frozen yogurt cakes with customizable edible photos as well. Today I tried the following flavors: mudslide, tiramisu, cookies and cream, blood orange, pineapple and cherry. The cherry one tasted like Yoplait cherry yogurt. The pineapple was my favorite because it was tangy and sour. They have gloves for you to wear to self-serve your ice cream. For toppings we tried Sour Patch kids, colorful mochi, graham cracker crumbs, cookie dough, yogurt chips, fresh strawberries, fresh pineapple and peanuts. They have both indoor and outdoor seating areas. The bad: One of the chocolately flavors was a flavor added to a tart base. I thought that made it taste a little off. The interesting: They're located at the mall in their outdoor area. They offer catering and waffle bowls as well. I think there was only one size cup you could choose from. I used Menchies in the Town Center Mall for a recent company event and was extremely disappointed with the service (very tardy responses from the manager), shortage of toppings delivered with my order which forced me to purchase more from another source, and the lateness in delivery even though we paid on time, and went over the event details many times with both the manager and her assistant. This caused a lot of stress to me and my team. I would not recommend this location to any businesses looking to cater a frozen yogurt event because it is very poorly managed. We came here last night because the power had gone out in a large part of Valencia for some reason and we needed to do something because it was getting dark and there really wasn't a lot going on at home...so let's go out and get some fro-yo...but the place we really like (across the street) was also without power. The mall was lit up so we popped on over. Here is the thing Menchie's have more than one employee working in the evening because the person behind the counter ringing everyone up can't clean the place too. The topping area was a mess, tables had stuff on them...just a mess in general. Spend some of your "Menchie" money and get at least another person to help out. Its not a gulag so what is that little girl who was yelling out "Welcome to Menchie's" and ringing up everyone going to do if she needs to go use the bathroom? I've been here multiple times with my friends who love ice cream they have a lot of toppings

I called ahead to ask what flavors they had that day, as I went in for a certain flavor. When I got there the machine wasn't working and I was told there would be a 10 minute wait for the ice chunk to melt for that particular flavor. I picked another flavor and topped it with reeses peanut butter pieces that were warm and melted because they are displayed without refrigeration or ice.
