Easy and fast drive thru. The drive thru is faster than the inside but inside they are always kind and remember my tea. The only downside and this is true with all Starbucks the don't treat tea with the passion they do coffee. Drinks & all of the other baristas are wonderful. I love the morning crew and Nick! I give this Starbucks a 4 and not 5, but you can thank a rude barista in the mornings for that. I think her name is Mischelle (?). She is constantly rolling her eyes, crossing her arms and isn't the most pleasant in the mornings. I have never ONCE been rude to her but she has the worst attitude I have ever seen. I have actually been there while other customers have complained about her. The online order app said 4-7 min. I got there around 8 minutes and they hadn't even started my order for one drink. I then stood there ten minutes while I waited for my drink to be made. The barista was in slow motion and chatting to the employees the whole time. Very slow and disappointing. read more

I like to order the Java chip frap with a banana and since the takes up more room in the cup there is usually some leftover in the blender. Came here last night after a workout because my friend wanted a black tea. We came in at about 10pm and the employees were awfully chipper. My friend ordered her tea and he asked me if I was going to get anything. I said no, and he said, "Why? Is it something I did? I can change." So I lol'd and replied that he was wonderful and doesn't have to change, and everyone behind the counter started giggling and we started making jokes. Anyway, this place seemed like it had a nice layout and that there were a lot of outlets to accommodate the people on laptops (even though I saw a LOT of people sitting outside when it was freezing cold). I'd come back here, didn't really see anything wrong with it. I don't drink coffee, so I'd be coming here to study, and there's 20 Starbucks locations between this one and my school/house, so who knows. read more

This starbucks is okay. The employees are off and on (sometimes they're good, sometimes they're bad). Sometimes the pastries are old. High school students almost always take all the seats for "studying". This is the place to go if it's just two of you and you want to enjoy a coffee. If it's a group studying, I wouldn't suggest it. read more

The customer service here is above par! I feel so bad I didn't have anything to tip them as my Starbucks card ran out with the purchase of my coffee! I called back to get my barista's name - Nick made my coffee better than I have ever had it mixed before. The cashier was super friendly as well! This is probably my favorite Starbucks to go to. I come here almost every day on my way to work & it's so nice. Always clean & organized. The employees are always sweet & happy. I am writing this review...on location, in the middle of the establishment, as the experience is happening...I feel stealth, I feel secret, and I am armed with my Elite watch. So far I have checked in, made a quick tip, queued up, paid, and received my beverage. Senses check: Vision: I see a sprinkling of open seats around...but most are taken. There is a long line, only one barista taking orders and one barista making beverages. The lighting is minimal, mostly natural light coming from outside. My beverage looks like a mojito minus mint leaves. Smell: It smells divine in here. It smells like somebody is opening a package of their coffee right under my nose with every breath I take...I LOVE the smell of coffee. Taste: I ordered a Cool Lime Refresher...Venti. It is delicious. It tastes like honeydew melon, lime, and mint. It has a slice of fresh lime in it. If we weren't half way through summer already, I would have declared it this season's beverage. Touch: not that Starbucks has anything to do with it, but the feel of my MacBook keyboard is on-point. Audio: I can hear business meetings, kids, people's names being yelled by a woman with a voice that doesn't sound like it's going to hold up. I hear the steamer, refrigerator doors opening and closing, mumble mumble mumble, and easy listening music being piped in through the speakers. It's not loud in here, I would just say that there is a lot of sound...if that makes sense. All-in-all an o-ok visit today :) Thanks Starbucks for giving me a signature drink to finish out the summer, it is refreshing indeed. read more

Customer service needs major improvement. For having only two customers in the store and not having to make many drinks, the baristas ignored us customers in line for several minutes. The cashier didn't seem to know what they had ran out of and needed the other barista to remind him of what they still had a supply of. Also, they need to know which drinks are available in which sizes, example being the trenta cup and how only regular iced coffees, teas, and lemonades are available at the size. Communication is lacking between baristas and it isn't translated to the customers in a professional or understandable manner. The speed the drinks came out was good and the quality is consistent to other locations, which is great, but customer service is just as important in a coffee shop as the products being served. read more

I frequent this Starbucks most often! It's always busy but the staff is quick and I never wait very long. Speaking of the staff, they're all very nice and even know my name when I go in! wowzers 4pm milky drink so nasty. 9pm I walked in as the cashier was changing the bag to the trash can as i grabed a yogurt I waited to see if she would wash her hands. She immediately asked to take my order so i asked her if she was making my drink, beacuse i noticed she was messing with the trash can, the thot had the nerve to get mad at me. I don't live around this area, I was just passing through looking for a place to get some coffee. I stopped by this Starbucks because it was along the way and I have to say, even though it doesn't have a drive thru, the staff was very nice. When I walked in I was greeted by the staff up front. When it was my turn to order the gentleman helping us was very nice and courteous. Our orders were ready in less than 10 minutes and they were well made. I highly recommend this Starbucks, nice people and good drinks. read more

you can get coffee anywhere. but the personality, service and atmosphere of this starbucks keeps me driving the distance when i want a cup o'whatever. theyre open late, have internet available (tmobile subscription), a widly different crowd depending on the time of day/year and a number of restaurants need by if you get the nibbles. go get a cup, you 'bucker! read more

I came here on a Saturday morning around 9am & it was busy! What I love about most Starbucks is that they have the ability to make a long line go fast. Today I got a hot grande green tea & it tastes fabulous. The space is large and has plenty of room for sitting. Just looking around also I see a couple outlets which is awesome. I chose to sit at the long communal table today. It definitely is a nice touch. The staff was friendly & attentive and I will be back to try the new La Boulange pastries they have. This location is not too far from my home & I'm always looking for Starbucks that I can study at. read more

I've been a regular here for the past 8 years or so. It's a great place for me to study, inside and outdoors. Plenty of seating than some Starbucks I've been to. Since my raving review two years ago, I have slowly noticed the eroding of this particular Starbucks. Over the last two months, I've had several times when drinks where made incorrectly, and heaven help me, I asked what was in a specific drink (hot) and received it made cold when I didn't specify it to be cold. I go in regularly and watch the baristas take breaks with their friends in the front. The baristas are cold, impersonal and stressed out. I've seen them be catty with each other. The whole vibe is lost. And dirty. Not just dirty but wrappers and stuff all over the floor. They don't even empty the trash cans which are usually overflowing. And bums. Frequent bums hanging out inside. The vibe is gone. :( read more

Always clean and the staff is always ready to make you smile. My wife is a huge fan of the vanilla latte, but it's just expensive coffee to me. Wow, way to go making people angry in the morning! This Starbucks is just simply pitiful, but we keep going since it's close by! Wanted a simple bold coffee at 10:50am, this was the answer "sorry, we don't have bold". We asked if this was a new rule, since Pike does not start till noon? She said "we don't have bold, only Pike", so we said good to know and we will go to the other Starbucks but will take the Pike today. Then she said, "is Blonde okay?" What? We asked for bold, you offered Pike and now you say you only have Blonde? We had to ask for Pike to be brewed and had to train her to tell us to wait (wow). After waiting we got our coffee, she apologized, but never gave an inconvenience card. When Nick and Bre are NOT there, this place truly falls apart (they are really good), they know how to treat customers. Please train your other staff. Very disappointing! read more

This location is the slowest drive thru of any Starbucks I have ever seen. I stop once in a while when I am on my way to work, and once I am stuck in line I regret it. This morning it took 10 minutes to get to the speaker, then instead of taking my order they introduce themselves and want to chit chat. Eight more minutes to get to the window, then 5 more because my order isn't ready. They won't tell you how much it is until you get to the window. This is simple stuff - take the order, tell the customer how much it is, and have it ready when you get to the window. I don't care what your name is.....and also I really don't like getting down the street and taking a sip and finding out my non-fat latte is black coffee with 3 packets of Splenda. Get your act together - you are giving a fine business a bad name! read more

Great location with a large community table with lots of other seating around it. Internet can be used outside where seats are shared between Starbucks and rubios. The staff is friendly and the people of seal beach are pretty nice. A lot of high school kids do come here to study and get tutored, but they're courteous (for kids). I've never been bothered by them. However, the Internet here is terrible. Can barely load a Google search results page. I end up tethering my phone. This place would be great if they could get faster internet. read more
