This location is tucked into a corner of a plaza, The Shops at Rossmoor. I came here late on a weekday afternoon. This location has a dozen seats inside and a few tables with umbrellas outside. Every indoor table, most being two-tops, had a single visitor sitting at it. I realized that if I was going to sit down and relax while enjoying my coffee, I'd need to sit outside, even though it was a cloudy, chilly day. After a relatively short wait in a 4-person line, I ordered a hot vanilla latte and a salted chocolate chip cookie (the last one in the pastry case) from the congenial staff. My order came up quickly and I went outside and sat. The coffee was very hot, taking about 10 minutes before I could drink it (I'm admittedly a bit heat sensitive). The latte was okay, although the vanilla flavor was barely perceptible. The cookie was good, not the greatest nor was it disappointing; just okay. About the time I finished the cookie and the latte was drinkable, the clouds opened up and the rain poured down. I dashed to my car and had a few more sips before driving off. Later that night I got in my car and saw the half-full cup (or was it half empty?) still in my cup holder, never to be finished.

It was very clean, and I noticed outlets along the wall where you can plug in a laptop, which makes this a great spot if you want to get some work done or stay awhile. When we ordered, Alyssa was kind and patient while helping my brother with issues on his app. That level of attentiveness stood out. We ordered two pistachio lattes and a chocolate croissant. The pistachio latte was delicious. Not too sweet, with a great pistachio flavor and little sweet, almost caramel-like pieces on top that added a nice bit of texture. There was a mix-up with our order, but Christine handled it perfectly and remade everything without hesitation. Friendly, calm, and no stress at all. For a first visit, this Peet's made a really good impression. Solid drinks, great customer service, and a space that works well if you want to be productive or just hang out.

Still, the cold foam was not that foamy or tasty and I found myself with a cup full of ice and no beverage after a couple sips. Wouldn't order again. The next time I came, the place was packed and there wasn't a single seat available which is good for them but disappointing for me. I ended up ordering the strawberry coconut cloud to go, since I already had enough caffeine for the day. What a delicious and refreshing drink! I'd absolutely get this again (or a different version). So overall, not a dependable spot to land if you want to work as it's often busy and all the seats are taken. I'm looking forward to trying some of their other drinks though, especially the egg cream or corn coffee drinks.

No wonder. Before I could even get to writing my review, it makes sense that this Starbucks has 3.5 Stars. I venture to several Starbucks and I mobile order the same drink but this is the only store that deliberately goes out of their way to get my order wrong and charge me more for items that I indicated on my order already. The mobile order indicates more milk but when I arrive, there is absolutely no milk added and the staff wants to argue about the threshold of what indicates more milk. As a combat veteran of this fine country, the last thing I want to deal with is a snobby staff that goes out of their way to give me a hard time over something I already paid for. Several members of the staff need an attitude adjustment. If the owners support the antics of this staff, they will be subjected to a lawsuit for theft. Like I stated earlier, the 3.5 stars is not indicative of what I have experienced here; this store is a 1 Star. If you read the target Starbucks remarks, they are truly people writing about this store. Trashy service. read more

I'd come here every now and then just bc I like the vibes but felt very uncomfortable when I heard one of the employees (white) say the N word when singing along with a song (funny bc the song was censored). Drink was great so that's why I'm giving 2 stars. I used to be a partner years ago and I understand being bored on the shift and running your mouth but that was completely unacceptable. Haven't been back since, which is a bummer because some of the baristas were really cool to chat with. read more

Rudeness!!! Not by all partners... but a few. They really are in the wrong career role. Sadly, this reflects on the business as a whole. As for the other aspects of business - store mostly clean, homeless are appearing more frequently and tends to get very loud late afternoon when the kids are out if school. I work nearby so I sometimes stop by on my way in. Every time I go to this Starbucks its hard to find parking and there always seems to be a long line. I tried doing the mobile order but by the time I got there it sill wasn't ready. I love Starbucks but not this location. read more

In addition, the toppings station was messy and not well maintained. I understand everyone can have an off day, but I was expecting the same polite service we usually receive here. She charged me nearly $8.00 for this very small child sized serving. I've gone to other Baskin Robbins and ordered the same thing and was always given a regular sized scoop and was never told I could only have a tiny child size, especially for that price!
