Wish Starbucks would offer an organic choice for those that are into health. and lower to price a tad in this time of struggle for so many.

Clove and Cedar is an absolute gem!!! I stopped in after shopping at the Bethany farmers market…read morewith 4 elementary school boys (not my kids) who, unbeknownst to me, knew exactly how to order at a coffee shop. They ordered strawberry shortcake matchas and iced vanilla milks and specified for the woman taking their orders exactly how many vanilla pumps they wanted and what type of milk alternatives to request. The barrista took their orders like they were adults (while eying me to make sure this was all ok). We also got 2 pastries to split. We got some kind of coffee cake and a chocolate chip muffin. I didn't get to try either as the boys wolfed them down and left a mess of crumbs bc they aren't actually as bougie as their orders. (sorry about the crumbs if you are reading this, Clove and Cedar). The little boys said it was the best matcha they ever had - and apparently they are experts. hahahaha. I am in Lower DE every week and had completely given up trying to find a decent matcha here bc every place I've tried just sucked. When I saw the color of the dark green matcha at Clove and Cedar, I knew immediately it was going to taste great. I got the Ube Vanilla Matcha and it was perfecto!!! Honestly, I can't even explain how excited I am that I found this great place. I wish it was closer to Dewey or Rehoboth as there is nothing up here like it. I def will make the drive again to Bethany soon!!!

Cute little coffee shop. Was really packed when we went but they handle the crowd well. I took off…read moreone star based off of the matcha. They have multiple matcha drinks on their menu but I did not really like the strawberry matcha I got. It tasted very watered down. My friend and husband also agreed. I make matcha at home and thoroughly enjoy a matcha at other cafes but this one didn't do it for me. The mint mocha was really good but didn't really taste like mint. I loved the coffee cake!!

This is the kind or hoarder business that drives itself into the ground. They have some of the same…read moreplant pots as Home Goods but at a whopping 30% increase on price. Seriously. If this place lowered the cost considerably, they might sell some of this stuff. The Buddha, and other statues in my picture, is over $500 just like most of the other large pots sitting outside forever. Come off the price. People will buy. And so on... it will come back around. Inside was really worse. Upon walk in the damp must was a smack in the face. Costs were ridiculous. Even a vegetable brush was $14? (Just as a reference) I walked the whole store actually trying to find something to buy and walked out shaking my head.

Bottom Line: Lots of pretty pottery and an eclectic collection of housewares and gifts…read more Even if you're not shopping for big pots this store has lots to explore. I enjoyed winding my way through the maze of goodies. Some of the things that caught my eye were Polish pottery, pretty reusable tote bags, cheeky kitchen gadgets and funny cocktail napkins. They also had sign art, candles, throw blankets, funny socks, adult greeting cards, yard flags and air plants. It's a very eclectic mix of merchandise. The store is a bit tight in spots so I'd recommend against bringing a gaggle of people, big purse or stroller.
