Cheerful and pleasant people here make interaction a pleasure. However there is nowhere to set your drink in the bathroom. When I ordered a drink, I requested "light ice" and it even said that on the label on the cup. It came with heavy ice - and when I asked why, the barista said "I don't really trip out on ice". I told him I didn't like ice and since I was the customer, my concern mattered more than his. He shrugged and walked away. What happened to "if the customer doesn't like the drink, we will remake it." ?? Come on sbux...Shame the customer isn't first anymore and the clueless staff don't care. read more

This is a fairly nice Starbucks located in Soledad just off of the 101 freeway. We usually stop here on our way up to Nor Cal or down to So Cal. It has a drive-thru which makes it convenient. The line and registers are in the back of the store and the waiting area is near the front by the tables, so it does not get too clogged up waiting for drinks. The servers are friendly and always get our drinks correct, even the more difficult orders. The drive-thru moves quickly and again, they always get our drinks right. Only complaint: The bathrooms need a little more attention. This place gets a lot of people coming through since it is located right off of the freeway and they need to take a little extra care with making sure the bathrooms are cleaned. We always make a point to stop here to get drinks because of its convenient location and friendly service. 25/100 read more

They were out of almond milk here which was a huge bummer because the coconut milk isn't my jam. The staff was very nice which partly made up for the almond milk. So, I woke up and realized we ran out of coffee at home. What do I do....jump in my car and head to my local Starbucks drive-thru. I order a Venti Pumpkin Spice Latte (for the husband), a Grande Triple White Mocha with Hazelnut (for self), a White Hot Chocolate for my son and my son saw the Pumpkin Scone, so I ask for a Pumpkin Scone. They girls response was "Oh we don't have any, we probably won't get them this year, we can't even order them in our system". I replied, " you may need to take out or change out your sign or something because that's like false advertising", her response, "I would if Starbucks would send me a new one". I don't know to me that was kinda rude they way she responded and the tone of her voice. So, we then ordered Washington Apple Pound Cake for my son. When we got our order the girl didn't even asked if I wanted my receipt, so we drive off because my husband and son are leaving out of town within they hour. About half way home my son takes a drink of his suppose to be a White Hot Chocolate but he tells me it's a regular Hot Chocolate. He begins to eat his Washington Apple Pound Cake, he makes a face like he didn't like it, so I taste it. It was soggy and not that great. For paying almost $20 and the gas I used to drive over, I tell my son you would think I would get what I paid for but nope can't even get that. I was not happy with this visit and its not the first time at this Starbucks. The last time I went thru the drive-thru they made my drink wrong and forgot my extra shot of espresso, good thing i tasted it before I hit the freeway. I had to turn around and get off my car to let them know my drink tasted like MILK. So, the drive-thru girl who took my ordered just ask if they could just stir in the espresso instead of making me a new one....really!!!!!! By far thee worst bucks I've ever been to. Now I don't know if they are understaffed or what. But the wait for a coffee is exaggerated. Additionally the staff is so not friendly. I walk up to the counter; the staff is working hard, however; no one acknowledges me for at least 6/8 minutes. At least let me know you'll be with me in a moment instead of chatting with your colleagues. Believe me when I say that the drive thru isn't any better. The lines accumulate very quickly and take forever to move. As you wait you see car orders coming out and it's like two maybe three drinks coming out. That takes you 20 minutes to pull of. geez! Get your sh** together Starbucks... This is a prime location right off the 101. Up your staff, retrain your staff. Let's get the service quality up and moving. read more

After seeing the conditions inside the restrooms and seeing the trash on the floor of the main area we decided to not even order. We stopped here twice the last three days on our way to and from camping. We thoroughly enjoyed both stops leaving me in wondering about the 2.5 rating. Service was prompt and friendly, the restroom was clean, the drinks and food were fine, up to Starbuck's standards. When we stopped on Sunday afternoon, it was crowded and the floor was littered. Today, on a Tuesday morning, the floor was clean and the tabletops were spotless. We also enjoyed the young baristas. We'll definitely stop here again. read more

This is a great little Starbucks to stop by if you're travelling along the coast. Acess on and off the 101 Fwy is quick and easy. The drive through is open later than the inside of this cafe which a good thing since it was late in the evening when I stopped here. The guy working the drive though was very friendly and got my order perfect, even though it was somewhat complicated. I don't have a single favorite drink, but like to mix it up a little. On this occasion I asked for a grande Americano with three inches of steamed breve and six pumps of sugar free vanilla syrup. He chuckled when I gave my order and promised me he'd give it to me at the window made perfectly. When I pulled up to the window with the card on my Starbucks phone app ready to pay he leaned out the window and told me there was a problem. I assumed the problem was with my drink, but he assured me that my drink was perfect and that the problem was with the computer system that had gone down and that they were unable to process my charge transaction. He asked if I'd mind terribly just taking the drink for free. SCORE! I give them five stars for customer service and five stars for making my drink to perfection. read more

This starbucks is right off the freeway so the wait and service is very long. I stopped here for a drink on the way home from socal. The line was super long and the wait was super long for your drink too. There was lots of travelers and different type of people. There are tons of workers but drinks were getting mixed up and not made in the order it was ordered. read more

The staff was friendly upon entering, the store was incredibly clean, and they made our drinks quickly and correctly. It's not right off the freeway so it does take a moment to get there, but since it's in a mall there are multiple places to park, or there's a drive through if that's your thing. I wanted to refill it with cash, as I have in the past, because I don't want my bank account linked to a Starbucks card. The woman at the register told me I couldn't refill it with cash...why, I don't know, since I've done it before. So I said, I wanted her to put the points on my account and I'd pay in cash. She rang me up and didn't put the points on my account, so I asked to her please add them. She said she couldn't, I looked at her like "what?" Then she asked someone else how to do it. They explained...she had to return everything and then ring it up again. When she returned everything the total was different (lower) than it had been when I paid. At that point I told her the total was different and asked why. She couldn't answer, so I just said never mind and left. I will never go to that Starbucks again. I ordered a strawberry frappe with Java chip and was completely disappointed smh and my daughter ordered a dragon drink and they even messed up on that and when I asked dragon drink not Dagon fruit. I asked for them to remake it and the girl didn't remake but pours the one the one drink into another cup and then added coconut milk and there was hardly any dragon fruit in it so her drink just tasted like coconut milk . I live in SLO county but come by often when I pick my daughter up in Soledad. EVERY TIME I come here the baristas are rude. Today takes the cake though. I did a mobile order and went through the drive thru. When I get to the window the girl hands me two drinks and two pastry bags. When my daughter opens hers it's empty. I go inside and they get on my case about not having a mask on. I wasn't expecting to get out of the car. I explain to them that I picked up my mobile order from the drive thru and that they gave me an empty bag. Girl goes "We don't have it!" Uh ok? Should have told me that instead of just giving me the empty bag. Seriously? No apologies nothing just rude. The guy offered to replace it with something else but kept bringing up the fact that I didn't have a mask on. I wouldn't have had to go inside if y'all didn't try and pass off an empty bag.
