I am not sure why Dutch Bros is only 4 stars. I get that at times they have a lot of cars waiting to be served but that is not too dissimilar from Starbucks and atleast they have two lanes and staff that are outside taking orders. To be clear, I hate coffees, but that is where DB shines, their variety of rebel drinks offer an endless selection of flavors and are perfect for that much needed bump of energy. They also have smoothie options with kids cups that are great for toddlers. And for those who love cold or hot coffees they have a diverse selection. Their prices are on par with other competitors. you can also park in the nearby parking and walk to the counter if you think that might speed your purchase on a busy day. We waited quite a while and ordered three flavored chai's and ended up with the coffee rather than chais. It was disappointing to have waited a while to get the wrong orders. BUG IN MY COFFEE. Customer service needs to be worked on. I am not greeted and made an order accidentally through drive thru when I meant window pickup. The line is always long and wait time in drive thru is ALWAYS at least 10 - 20 minutes here. An oversized and WIDE male employee with glasses and bad acne approached me very rudely about how next time I should make it window or he will make me go through the drive thru. I have been a Dutch Bros fan since first sip but this location is even more exceptional! I've been here twice now. Both times great service. Last time I went in I ordered something more complicated than usual and the employee was super nice, kind, and even encouraging/suggesting other modifications. I ordered a golden eagle chai and a golden eagle extra dirty chai. Both were soo good. The dirty chai was mine and hands down the best drink I've had from Dutch Bros. Not sure if it was just made with love and care or just the combination but so good. When I pulled up to the window to get my drinks, the batista offered me a sample of another drink which was also super good. It was some kind of fruity refresher with boba. It was my first time ever even trying Dutch Bros.The mangoneada rebel is overhyped, tasted like medicine to me The reason why I'm giving it a low rating isn't because of the drink itself rather than I had asked specifically for a non caffeinated drink;hence, I'm currently 8 months pregnant. Unfortunately, this didn't last long. When I first would go to Dutch when they opened in May the service was phenomenal. The drinks were delicious and the service was fast. Now, service is slow, the locals and by locals --let me specific, what looks like local teenagers and early 20s have ruined it for me completely. This is the second time this week the same boy in the front taking orders is shouting (the music in there is ridiculously loud) to me my order back he kept getting confused over and over, to be honest, the kid just seemed lost and I had to repeat myself many times for basic things like straws because he'd forget. And sadly, the drinks are not the same. Straight up the drinks taste horrible now. My boyfriend the other day got a cold brew. How do you mess up a cold brew it tasted like water and something else that wasn't coffee the color was so light wasn't sure what brew they used it was too late to go back and ask. The other day I had a white chocolate mocha iced literally did not taste like white chocolate mocha tasted like milk and some other combination of sugar that did not mix well. And some old favorites like Golden Eagle don't taste the same just flavorless and shabby. Soledad Dutch, pease do better and hire the other guys who first started. I love Dutch Bros. I enjoy trying their drinks and talkingwith the employees. Obviously it is time-consuming when we wait in line, but that is expected to people commenting that they have to wait is something they should already know before going in. And I know the shop just open and the employees are still learning so I can't wait to see the future Dutch Bros™ increase. The people are really nice, but I have seen customers be rude to them, especially honking and rude attitudes. But overall, my experience is great and I hope people stop complaining about the wait which it's expected but understandable to an extent. I got a blended Golden Eagle which is my regular drink at every Dutch Bros I go to. And believe me I've been to many... Hollister Ca, Los Banos Ca, Bakersfield Ca and Modesto Ca. but this one in Soledad has truly been the worse one. From the wait to the fail in getting my drinks right. With one so simple as the Golden Eagle the #1 coffee there. How can they keep getting it wrong on different occasions... Truly saddened because I keep giving it chances hoping the next time it will finally be good. I love Dutch Bros. My coworkers and I are working though the menu. So far everything is good! My only complaint is the wait time. But I know they are gonna be busy on Fridays so I try to go early.
